Popped into this little gem for breakfast on a whim and was sat immediately at the bar because it was already busy on New Year's day. Host and our server were friendly and attentive. Started with the cucumber fresca of the day and it was very hydrating, refreshing and delicious. I was told by my friend the coffee was good too. I had the Divorciados which was excellent and my friend had the EL Tradicional (Standard Breakfast) which he very good and filling. This is a nice small restaurant with outdoor seating in the front and on the side of the restaurant. I will definitely comeback because it's close to home. Also the Chilequiles looked amazing so I definitely have to come back for that. A thumbs up for me.

Location: Enid st. Cross st Calvacade Parking: street and across the street. Staff: Dorian was super sweet. Bonded with clients, explained menu and checked on us. Wait time: seating wait time can be a bit of wait also depending on where you want to seat. @20mins wait. Seating: indoor, booth seating, bar seating and outdoor seating. Price: average Drink: went for water this time. Food: chilaquiles rojos, come with egg, onion, avocado, radish and a very flavorful salsa. Not spicy at all just greatly seasoned. Chips are crunchy and soft at the same time. They also have small table fans to help keep flys away.

Went here with anticipation due to the mixed reviews of this place, it was definitely good and I would recommend it for others! I would definitely suggest this to smaller parties since the location and parking are both very limited. We were seated pretty quickly and our server was quick to take our orders. The food itself was great for what you get. The portions were relatively big, and the drinks were refreshing! Because we arrived before rush hour we didn't face much pressure to order quickly as other reviews have stated- so take that into consideration when deciding the time you decide to come here. It had a very homey atmosphere both inside and out. It was also appreciated to see the servers actively keeping the place clean as well. 4.4/5

Came here for lunch and had a nice experience in this cozy cafe. At the recommendation of our waitress I ordered the coconut coffee, and it was a decadent and rich way to take coffee - will definitely get it again in the future! For my main I ordered the breakfast tacos with chorizo - they were not greasy, which is great. The red sauce it was served with added the perfect amount of spice. Service was very friendly and attentive. Parking is available on the street or in a private lot across from the cafe (watch the signs).

I was pleasantly surprised to find out Cielito opened a new location in the Heights. I also appreciated the parking lot available next to it as this area can be tricky. Located in a small house, the atmosphere was cozy and cutely decorated. We had a few servers check on us who were all friendly. As brunch girlies, we loved the food here! We started off with a chocolate de oalla and green juice. The hot chocolate was comforting, rich, cinnamon goodness. The green juice was cold and freshing. Our entrees were the huevos divorciados and the bandera. We asked for extra hot sauce which seemed house made. Gave the perfect kick to everything. Our plates were clean after if that's any indication of how much we enjoyed everything lol. We finished off with churros that came out hot with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Perfect end to the meal.

We just moved to this area and have been wanting to try this brunch spot and we were very impressed! It's inside this small converted craftsman right in the neighborhood making it an easy walk for us. We arrived around 9:30 am on a Sunday and were seated right away. The Cafe de Coco had a great flavor and I loved the added toasted coconut on top. I got the Divorciados and my husband got the Chilaquiles and you can't go wrong with either choice. The chorizo and sauces were really tasty. The service was 10/10 and food came out quickly. Only lost one star because I had asked for my eggs over medium and one of them was fully cooked. Not a big deal though, we will definitely be back!

Definitely will be coming back! The food came out quick and was worth the wait. The green/red sauce for the chilaquiles was phenomenal and the French toast was equally amazing. The staff was super friendly. They have a parking lot (but it fills up) and there's a couple of streets where you can street park. 10/10

Overall the experience here was good. We live around 30 minutes away so I was very curious. Parking is across the street. The restaurant is cute on the outside with patio seating and dog friendly. Once you go inside it's very small, definitely not good for big parties. The waitress was very friendly but almost too fast where she never checked on us and wants ppl in and out. She suggested sweet corn gorditas, Toqueres as an appetizer, good but not for the price. I had the chilaquiles half red and green sauce. My husband had the Divorciados both very good. Overall I would come back, the food was really good.

Cielito Cafe is a cute, quaint spot for brunch in the Heights. The food was good and very reasonably priced for how large the portions were. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. Highly recommend getting one of the coffees - we got the Caramelo and the Cafe de Coco and they were great!

Visit on 02/25: An absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, we felt so welcomed. The hospitality here is unmatched. We had the huevos divorciados, the cafe de coco, the molletes, and finished with the Mexican churros, and every single bite was phenomenal. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation of the food was incredible. It looked as amazing as it tasted. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our waitress was extremely polite and hospitable, and the busser was very helpful and kind. The manager really stood out. He was personable and checked on us frequently, making sure we had everything we needed and creating such a positive atmosphere. For my first visit, they made me feel like family, and that alone will keep us coming back. Cannot wait to visit again! Visit on 03/26: We came back for my birthday brunch celebration, and once again, the service was phenomenal! Everything was just as warm and welcoming as before. We had a different waitress this time, and she was very sweet and courteous. We also saw the manager again, and he was just as hospitable as our first visit, making sure we had everything we needed. The consistency in both service and food is truly impressive!

Food was great, I'll definitely be back. Great vibes also. Service was outstanding .....

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

On one side was a family with three young children playing a loud game involving frequent shouting and slapping on the table. There was intermittent drumming which the parents were oblivious to. On the other side was a large group facing us engaged in very loud ongoing conversation. The result was an atmosphere that made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Service was also inconsistent. Our server offered chips to accompany the Tiradito but she never brought them. Overall, the evening was disappointing.
