I never write reviews unless necessary. Came here on a Tuesday with my mom, called for appointment for two manicure pedicure as well. They were also not busy when we came. if anything one worker was free, therefore one of us had to wait for the mean time. She started working on my manicure, When another customer was done, you can also tell the worker/manicurist doing my hands told her coworker in their language to do me next (my pedicure) rather than going to my mom next. Didn't know what was the reasoning behind it, we assumed maybe she was specifically going to do my mom's manicure next also. After finishing my manicure, she decides to lay on the couch, go on her phone. Not preparing supplies for my mom until I asked the lady doing my pedicure that my mom has already waited close to an hour already and what's taking so long. Lady doing my feet/pedicure speaks to the coworker on the couch , and tells us "yes they will do her right now." Same lady that did my manicure, finally comes and we tell her how come it took so long and she just laughed. No workers communicated the whole time while my mom was waiting to even just tell us "hey it will take a little bit" "we will be right with you" just ignored the whole time until we said something. From my assumption it is also based on workers being selective on who they want to do. I came to this place today. Not wanting to get my nails painted just wanted a hand treatment. While I was waiting I noticed the pretty nail colors they had and of course, I had to get them painted. The lady that was supposed to take care of me, well let's say she didn't care. She was painting my nails all fast. She didn't even treat them. On top of that she left my nail color bad. When I asked her to fix it she went in and really fast cut my dead skin off. Cutting me a little. Then when I told her about the color she said, "oh,that's your skin honey." Ugh. This will be my new go to spot. I came here after a horrible fill at another salon. The other salon didn't have the colors to do what I wanted and so I trusted them and let them do their own design that ended up involving badly laid stickers that I couldn't stand looking at, so I impulsively stopped here for a fix. Oh my god what a good decision. They helped me instantly, and not only gave me exactly what I wanted design wise, but also reshaped and filed me into perfection. I love this set so much. I didn't catch my technicians name but he was so steady handed and kind to me which I really appreciated. The salon is cute and clean. I heard another customer raving about her nails as well, which I now clearly understand. Driving by after breakfast I noticed ladies getting pedicures outside! My feet have been begging for attention so I decided to go back soon! I have the worst luck with nail salons since everyone doesn't know how to do nails correctly. I am a bit of a nail snob and a detailed oriented perfectionist, so I swallowed my pride and called. I have been going to this nail salon for over a year and I admit it, I really liked it. But every time I would get a fill, a week or so later my nails would start lifting and it happened every single time. I decided to try a new nail place and they said my nails were horrible and that my nails shouldn't be lifting every time because that can cause an infection. Once the new nail place was done with my nails, I immediately saw a different in the way my nails looked. This place is so not worth the price. On top of the nails looking horrible, my mom and I both had to wait over an hour for each other to get our nails done because they would only take one of us at a time. Second time that they have cut me because they are in such a rush, nails are uneven and very sharp. When you ask them to fix it, they get upset and of course start talking and their language so you do not understand what they are saying. I do not recommend this business at all. This is one of the few nail salons open during this tough time. I understand right now is hectic, and this situation is beyond our control, but still. I booked two pedicures, one for me and my boyfriend. Our appointment was at 3 pm, they checked us in, took our temperature and made us sign a paper agreeing that we weren't sick. We did just that and waited for about 5 more minutes. They then sat us in our designated "stations". It was a normal chair, and then a plexiglass shield separated you from the nail tech. My boyfriend sat across from me, and they began his pedicure almost immediately. The lady who was supposed to do mine, told me to soak my feet, and then left me there for about 30 mins, because she went to do someone else's pedicure. Mind you, my bf was already FINISHED with his. Someone else had to come and ask if I had already been serviced. A totally different lady ended up doing my nails. I give 2 stars because she did do an outstanding job, but seriously? 30 mins? I've been coming here for the past 3 years. They know me, and the owner is usually there and really nice. I went in yesterday, and I guess everyone forgot their manners since the owner was gone. I wanted my acrylics taken off and re-done. It was time. So they said "ok." No smiles, no hellos, like I usually get. Once I sit down, he starts removing the polish. I told him to just shave it and remove the whole piece. He decided not to...so 10 minutes later he finally removes the polish on one hand. Then he leaves to deal with a customer. I wait 5 minutes, then someone else comes to remove the rest of the polish off the other hand. She said "you're getting a fill?" I said "no, I'm getting it redone." So she leaves. He comes back, and starts getting the kit. Then he says "you want a fill." I said "nope. I want it redone. See, look where the nail is off from the base." He nods and leaves again. I wait. The other lady comes back, asks me again what I want. I explain again. Then she gets a bunch of acrylics and chips away at the nail. Literally. They like....forgot how to take a nail off. Then he comes back and does the same thing. Pieces of nail are flying everywhere, and acrylics breaking. After spending 30 minutes with the acrylics still on, I got up and left. I told him that I'm leaving because I've had my nails serviced here for years, and never once have I been treated so dismissively. I've had my nails removed there before. It takes all of 10 minutes for both hands with a metal piece. WTH they were doing, I truly have no idea. End Rant. read more

I have been here several times and each time they become more unprofessional. They take too many people and they can't handle it so a simple pedicure can go to an hour and a half to two hours. This most recent time I asked for a design which just included each finger being a different color and they completely disregarded what I wanted and didn't let me change the colors. One person took the previous gel polish off , the other cut my toe nails , and the other polished my nails this is beyond ridiculous. I've been to the new Cielo Mio Spa Salon in La Verne and it was so very nice! Larger than the Claremont. I had the Massage and pedicure deal for $69. A very good deal for a very relaxing afternoon. The website isn't up yet but I saw an add for a monthly membership for $55 a month and you get a massage every month. I'm really thinking of getting it!!! I will be back! read more
