Braised Beef Short Rib with Parker rolls
    Maria S.

I loved the energy at the bar on a Friday night. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I had the Friday steak special which was a braised short rib on polenta with carrots, with a side of Parker rolls. Very tender and full of flavor. For dessert I got the banana bread pudding with vanilla gelato to go. I love that they toast the pieces of bread pudding so it's crisp on the edges, yet soft and gooey on the inside. It's a bit pricey, but a nice splurge meal for sure.

Had breakfast, lunch & dinner at this fantastic farm-to-table restaurant. Sitting on their patio that showcases the iconic vistas, being able to see McDowell Mountains & Four Peaks by day, shining stars everywhere at night. Everything indulged was deliciously satisfying. From their Chilean Sea Bass, 24 hr Braised Short Rib off of their dinner menu. Waking up to their Classic Breakfast & Brunch Burger for lunch. It was so amazing to experience everything eaten was nothing short of tasty. Sean, server of the evening, did a great job. Ambiance, very casual & the normal restaurant talk but not intrusive to your dining experience. I hope that I am able to return & replicate the same wonderful time had!

Dined at Cielo during a stay at Adero as we wanted to stay on property (and use our drink coupons). The bartender was extremely friendly albeit very very busy as the bar was slammed. The restaurant was packed without a reservation and would have been a long wait had we not sat at a table in the bar area. We had the option to dine outside under the night sky, but it was a bit chilly for that so we stayed inside. I was able to get a mocktail Aperol Spritz (my favorite), and my friend a real one. The drink way surpassed my expectations! The food was decent, we ordered the black bean hummus platter and the vegetables came squishy and old. They were kind enough to comp the platter and bring extra pita bread, and the hummus was still good! Otherwise, we ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Short Rib which were both good. The risotto was much cheesier than expected and was a huge plate! Definitely worth the price. Overall, great bar to grab a drink and good food when staying on property.

This is a fantastic restaurant with stunning views of the valley. Great service and excellent food. Simple menu with something for everyone. I would love to come back and try their lunch and dinner someday!

Lightly dressed, with tasty salami, bits of almonds and a few grape tomatoes. The octopus was really amazing. The spicy nduja (sp?) really gave the dish some depth of flavor, the crispy baby potatoes were perfectly cooked and crispy on the edges, the romesco sauce was flavorful and the few dollops of lemon curd were a nice counterbalance to all of the salty and rich elements. Best of all the octopus was very tender and moist. Service was very professional at the bar by several bar tenders. We sat at the bar so we could get some of the inside cool air as it was very hot and they only had outdoor tables when we made our reservation. We will return to try more dishes. The outside patio also seemed to have a great vibe. The piatta di pane was also very good, fluffy and well-seasoned. The octopus was tasty as well. Now for the negatives. The prices, especially considering the portion sizes. As I mentioned, the octopus was good, but the portion could have been more generous. The price tag on the prime NY strip was also steep for what ended up being two small strips that didn't look close to a full 12 oz portion. The middle piece shown in my picture was actually the potato croccante. My wife ordered the seasonal market fish (halibut), which unfortunately was overcooked and dry. I don't mind paying for a great meal, but when the negatives outweigh the positives, it becomes an issue.

Flavorless fried filets, soggy French fries, chewy hush puppies that have a gross powdery center, and a small Cole slaw that's always warm. Choose your spice level from 1-10. I forgot to specify a number and just said "hot" but it was not spicy enough for me. I normally get 7-8. I ended up adding in all the hot sauce options that were on the table plus some chili powder. Now that had a good kick to it. Ask for that! Price for the combo pan roast has doubled from before!
