Bread basket & Jalapeno shortcake cocktail out on the patio

Had breakfast, lunch & dinner at this fantastic farm-to-table restaurant. Sitting on their patio that showcases the iconic vistas, being able to see McDowell Mountains & Four Peaks by day, shining stars everywhere at night. Everything indulged was deliciously satisfying. From their Chilean Sea Bass, 24 hr Braised Short Rib off of their dinner menu. Waking up to their Classic Breakfast & Brunch Burger for lunch. It was so amazing to experience everything eaten was nothing short of tasty. Sean, server of the evening, did a great job. Ambiance, very casual & the normal restaurant talk but not intrusive to your dining experience. I hope that I am able to return & replicate the same wonderful time had!

Dined at Cielo during a stay at Adero as we wanted to stay on property (and use our drink coupons). The bartender was extremely friendly albeit very very busy as the bar was slammed. The restaurant was packed without a reservation and would have been a long wait had we not sat at a table in the bar area. We had the option to dine outside under the night sky, but it was a bit chilly for that so we stayed inside. I was able to get a mocktail Aperol Spritz (my favorite), and my friend a real one. The drink way surpassed my expectations! The food was decent, we ordered the black bean hummus platter and the vegetables came squishy and old. They were kind enough to comp the platter and bring extra pita bread, and the hummus was still good! Otherwise, we ordered the Mushroom Risotto and Short Rib which were both good. The risotto was much cheesier than expected and was a huge plate! Definitely worth the price. Overall, great bar to grab a drink and good food when staying on property.

This is a fantastic restaurant with stunning views of the valley. Great service and excellent food. Simple menu with something for everyone. I would love to come back and try their lunch and dinner someday!

Absolutely outstanding gumbo and etoufee, equal to the best I've had in New Orleans. 10 out of 10. About the only negative I've ever experienced is the oysters. Have to admit the oysters were only average. As to the outstanding gumbo, Caeser salads, soups. Just seriously spot on. Everything is cooked right in front of you; and the cooks (and foodservers) are very friendly, outgoing, etc. I normally don't tip the cooks, but here I do. They were busy at around 10:15pm so we had to wait a bit for a table. We also had a large group of 8 but luckily we were able to get seated. Our server did an amazing job with our large group. Some in the group ordered pan roasts and some ordered crawfish etouffee. My friend also ordered clams. I always get the combo pan roast here. It's a mix of crawfish, shrimp and crab. Choose your spice level from 1-10. I forgot to specify a number and just said "hot" but it was not spicy enough for me. I normally get 7-8. I ended up adding in all the hot sauce options that were on the table plus some chili powder. Now that had a good kick to it. Ask for that! Price for the combo pan roast has doubled from before! It used to be $20, then it slowly increased to $30, and now it's $40! It's good, but I can also make it at home and get more for my money.

We sat on the patio and Robin was our server. She was very friendly and checked with us many times throughout our dining. It was wine night where most bottles were $35. They gave us a little tasting of the two whites we were considering. We got our calamari quickly. It was delicious and crispy, with two sauces. We shared a unique wedge salad made of romaine and a hefty drizzle of balsamic, plus the normal blue cheese. We both got chicken dishes that came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. That was a bonus for me, so I didn't have to order pasta. The bread came out after the entrees. We splurged and ordered one piece of delicious cheesecake to share after our meal. They gave us complimentary limoncellos while we waited. It was a positive dining experience.

I didn't realize that this is a resort restaurant and that gave me some pause but I decided to check it out... The dining room was quite nice and there were a few tables of guests who seemed to be enjoying themselves so I chose to give it a go and hope for the best rather than start over. Service was quick with menus and within a few minutes I had a glass of wine and had ordered a caesar salad & chicken parm - easy. The caesar came out so quickly that I was amazed. However I soon realized why when the plate, salad AND dry croutons were all at the same fridge chilled temperature. For $9 you get roughly 1/8th of a small romaine, a few shards of pre-sharded 'Parmesean' and some stale cold 'croutons' from yesterdays unused table bread - which in itself is not good! Then the $30 chicken parm... While the one 1/3 of a chicken breast I received was nicely breaded and reasonably crisp, the accompanying spaghetti was just awful. It had that texture... Probably cooked a couple of days ago in bulk - shocked in cold water, left wet in the fridge and then dunked in moderately warm water upon order. Just slightly more al dente than you would see from a can. The pomodoro was just that - under seasoned, little trace of garlic/oregano/basil and thus just plain bland. Shame on Pietro. The Nebbiolo was nice though.

Everyone loved all three we got: the gorgonzola one, the red pepper with whipped feta and the apple/brie combo. Each one was full of flavor and the bread was the right level of toasted. We also enjoyed the arancini balls with the yummy sauce. I couldn't pick a salad but ultimately decided on the Greek, which was light and full of flavor. Others in our group enjoyed the kale salad as well. The eggplant lasagna was a generous portion and yummy! Light yet hearty and seasoned well. Last but not least the mushroom pizza. The crust could have been slightly crispier but felt like maybe it was transferred onto the plate too quickly so steam got trapped. Flavor wise it was missing some salt. Overall a fantastic dinner!

The mixed frito was a nice spin on classic calamari and the bites of squid and fish were sublime. The pizza was very nice neopolitan with a nice chew and char. Still a fine meal and great service. Would happily dine again to try the rest of the menu

The hostess greeted us right away, we were seated on the patio - gorgeous view. Our server was wonderful - attentive, courteous, provided suggestions without upselling. We ordered italicus spritz & margarita - light and pleasant summery drinks. For a meal, we shared deviled eggs, sonoran chicken lettuce wraps, sliders with fries and Thompson bolognese. Everything came out pretty fast - it was fresh and delicious, generous portions too. Of course we had to try dessert - we had spiced carrot cake with espresso. Cake was very good and espresso was great & strong! We'll definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

I made a reservation at this long-ago bookmarked restaurant to celebrate our twins 21st birthdays…read more I am so pleased they are finally old enough we can dine at restaurants I want to try (instead of only those serving kid food). Our Open Table reservation was for inside seating, but the restaurant was packed and we were seated on the misted patio at a high top for four. A spinning device was placed on our table lamp to deter flying pests. It was warm on the patio but fully shaded, with an occasional drifting cool breeze from the open doors of the dining room. The view of the McDowell Mountains is gorgeous from the patio. Our server was a quiet young man who was training another new server. Drink orders were placed, waters delivered all around. Appetizers ordered and meal orders placed at the same time were timed appropriately for our entree to arrive after a pause. We ordered from the happy hour menu a Dos XX draft lager and a house red sangria to go with the spinach artichoke dip and tortilla chips. The sangria was lovely, a tart red on top then sweeter, with brandy perhaps ,when mixed from the bottom. Several slices of citrus filled the glass. Beer was cold and a full pint. For $16 the spinach artichoke dip is a pricey appetizer at happy hour. It comes in a little cast iron skillet with oil all around the edge of the bubbling cheesy dip. Is truly thought they had overheated it, but the center was still creamy, the cheese unbroken. The tortilla chips were so light and crispy I had to inquire with the server if they were truly all corn or a blend. All corn! This was the most flavorful and delicious version of this dip I have experienced in any restaurant, and I do order it frequently. My only complaint was the spinach is too stringy and should be lightly chopped before adding to the dip. For my entree, I ordered the happy hour chicken lettuce wraps $10. They were pre-assembled portions of spicy dark chicken with corn and hot sauce. The lettuce cups were small but held up to the fillings. The chicken was one dimentional in flavor, just hot sauce and nothing else. I won't order this again, what a shame and a missed opportunity for a spectacular dish. One son had the 105 burger , a house double smash burger with waffle fries. He enjoyed the burger a lot, planning to save half then eating it all anyway. The garlic aoli was his favorite thing. He pronounced the waffle fries too crunchy. Almost like kettle chips, they lacked the tender insides he prefers in a waffle cut potato. Husband agreed. He had the same fries with his absolutely amazing French dip sandwich with prime rib. Especially awesome was the horseradish sauce and the dip which clearly had meat broth not just bouillon. Nice job! I got to eat about a quarter of it when he couldn't finish and yummers! I should add, our server made husband's beer $3 because they have a $19 burger and beer special (and son had a burger with no beer). This was very kind and honest! Other son ordered the short rib rustica pasta. This was a very filling dish. He enjoyed the meat sauce, it was very rich and tender. The house made rigatoni was broken, flattened and cooked too soft for his liking. Nonetheless it was all gone in a flash. When I suggested dessert, neither boy was really interested but I insisted because of the celebratory nature of our meal together. The wait staff brought our two desserts with four spoons and two candles in honor of the boys birthdays. The neighboring tables joined us in singing to our kids when the servers left. It was sweet. And so we're the desserts! A brownie sundae with dulce de leche ice cream vanished quickly. The boys were amused by the potato chip garnish. The seasonal ricotta cheesecake was also a dulce de leche flavor and it was fabulous. Dense, rich and smooth, I ate more than my share of this decadent wedge of heaven. Accompanying strawberries and blueberries were appreciated as a nod to healthier choices. The birthday desserts were both comped, very generous and thank you to the manager! When the bill arrived, we tried to pay using the QR code but the receipt is only for joining their e club. Server brought a kiosk and we paid on the spot. All very efficient.
