Yummy food with fresh produce. Wicked fast wi-fi, and I had no problems finding a wall outlet. Basket of toys for kiddos to play with. Clean, homey atmosphere. I came here expecting a coffee shop; for some reason I intuitively think "cafe" means a place that focuses on coffee drinks. I've misunderstood the definition of "cafe" all my life. Oh what an awakening it has been. Anyways, I was surprised to find the menu light on coffee drinks, and heavy sandwiches, wraps, ciabattas, and burgers. I had a turkey, bacon, tomato, and avocado wrap and enjoyed it. It was huge. Another reviewer called the potato salad bland, but Cindy's serves the kind of potato salad I prefer, which is to say no onions. Yes! I was in a hurry to work on a digital family photo album while I had an hour free, and I'm glad I went to Cindy's. The staff was fine with me whipping my lap top out, and the internet was shockingly fast. I uploaded 211 photos from my desktop to Google Photo, at full resolution, in UNDER A MINUTE. Whaaaaat? My in-laws live on the outskirts of Molalla and their cable internet service is so slow, I disdainfully refer to it as "the trickle net". Cindy must have an arrangement with the fiber optics guy, or the web fairy, because that internet was faster than both my cellular data signal, or my home wifi. And I live in town. No, not in-town-Molalla. You know, like in-town-in-a-proper-town, where my internet should be much faster. If you need a solid lunch, and a great wifi signal, I recommend Cindy's. Or you could eat pickles while praying that Google Fiber gets it's heinie in gear and comes to Portland metro and it's outlying areas, like immediately. I've done both. Going to Cindy's is way more efficient/tasty. read more

Excellent service from my waitress, Janice, who was friendly and informative about the menu, offering good suggestions as to what to order. Their pastrami Reuben sandwich was very good. The prices are a little above average. The homemade potato salad was a little bland for my taste. We asked to share the sandwich, not split it, and was charged$1.00 which definitely was disappointing especially since nothing was mentioned about the additional cost. The Reuben I would rate as a 5 star, the prices, charge for sharing the sandwich and the potato salad brings my rating to 3. Probably not a place that we will return to. read more

Kind of weird and slow. The food was decent, and the service was friendly, but all said and done, it took nearly an hour start to finish to get seated, order our sandwiches, eat, and pay our bill. Eaten here twice before with no problems and the food was excellent, however today I called in an order to go. I could tell they were busy but the woman on the phone was rude to me and almost mad it seemed when I said I'd like to to place a to go order . I wrote it off as them being busy and didn't take it personal . When I arrived the older lady who greeted me was extremely rude , so much so that I decided to leave and not pick up my food . I had the pleasure of eating here 3 times while I was up here visiting family. DELICIOUS FOOD AND GREAT FRIENDLY STAFF!!! Each time I have been here the food is consistently amazing! Been here for both a private work Christmas party and for lunch with a friend. Excellent food and service both times. Coffee cup always full. Fresh from scratch everything. Great mom and pop restaurant, though it is now located on center st. Just around the corner. We ordered burgers with fries. The fries were nice and crunchy, the burgers were good and came on a light large homemade bun. The Blt avocado sandwich was yummy and came with Lots of bacon. I heard about Cindys Cafe on Facebook so I decided to give them a try by ordering Taco Salad and a Turkey panini sandwich to go. The cafe was country style with nick-nacks all over but surprisingly clean and bright. Both my orders were great. The salad lasted me three meals, was exactly what I wanted and the sandwich was eaten the next day and it was fresh and very tastey! Service was fast and friendly. I'll be going back for more. I have been there with my family a few times, but have not been out much since having a family tragedy. Went in there today to pick up some food to go, but to my surprise the Waitress named Terry, told me to pull my "pants" up because it was offending the customers. Let me be clear, I was wearing Oregon State University sweatpants and under those pajama pants. I then responded with I will get some food from somewhere else then, and she replied GOOD! I told here that I didn't appreciate being told to pull up my pants when i had not even been greeted. So I asked the entire restaurant if anyone had a problem with my pants and the whole 5 people in the establishment said they did not! I will not attend such a rude and prejudicial cafe ever again and would recommend that if your looking for decent food with good service, your better off going to McDonalds. Cindy's has now lost our entire families business for life.......Customer service could really go along way, maybe when they hire some staff that treats customers better they might have better reviews and service...I don't recommend this establishment to anyone! read more
