We thought this was a great touch, and made us feel at ease with our dog being with a new groomer. There was a slight miscommunication when we booked an appointment, it wasn't mentioned that the groomers had moved out of their space in Little Tokyo. However, Danniel offered to pick up and drop off our dog, for his grooming appointment which was a very nice service. When our dog got home, he looked great and was very happy. Danniel and his team did an excellent job and we will certainly be back.

He's always excited to go back, and so happy and calm when we pick him up that I can really tell he's comfortable and enjoying his time at Puppy Island. He comes back well-behaved and socialized, not freaked out from us being gone, which makes leaving for trips feel much easier! And, I think the value for the services they provide is excellent. I usually board Chico in standard boarding and really love getting a few photos of him daily -- he's always smiling from ear to ear in them and surrounded by cute doggie friends. Chico had a cherry eye flare up when he was boarded earlier this year, and they handled the situation beautifully -- they gave me options, took him to the emergency vet for a checkup, and isolated him in VIP boarding until we were sure he was okay! It was such a relief to know he was in good hands and I will forever be grateful to the staff for going the extra mile to ensure his safety and comfort throughout. I trust them completely and so appreciate that they actually know and love him, so it feels like he's at summer camp with his favorite people every time! I love Puppy Island (and so does my dog!)!

This most recent stay, she was extremely dirty--her fur was greasy, she smelled strongly of urine, and she looked like she had been living in an unclean environment. Before boarding, I asked if I could see the kennels and where the dogs sleep, but they refused to let me. Looking back, that should have been a red flag. They always ask if you'd like to pay for a bath before pickup. This time I declined because of the extra cost, and when I picked her up, it became obvious why they push that service. A dog shouldn't come home filthy simply because you didn't pay for a bath. After one bath at home, her eyes were already much better within a day. I won't be bringing my dog back, and I would not recommend this facility.

I googled pet groomers for senior cats and Daisy Mobile came up. My cat had significant matting, and I was worried she would need a full lion cut. After discussing the options, he was able to remove all of the mats while preserving her coat, which I really appreciated. He was patient, knowledgeable, and handled my cat with care throughout the grooming process. When he was finished she looked great and, just as importantly, she was calm and didn't seem overly stressed. As a cat owner, that meant a lot to me. The results exceeded my expectations. My cat's coat is soft and healthy again, all of the matting is gone, and he was able to save her beautiful coat without having to shave her into a lion cut. If you're looking for a skilled cat groomer who treats cats with patience and compassion, I would definitely recommend him. I'm very happy with the experience and will absolutely call him for future grooming. He was available within a day or so and was flexible when I had to reschedule.

After our Dog Walker wasn't able to watch our dog over the Thanksgiving holiday, we were desperate to find somewhere that cared and loved our pup as much as we do. Happy puppy LA and their entire staff was an absolute dream to work with. They were accommodating, responsive, and very proactive and handling what became a scheduling nightmare due to an unfortunate last-minute stop at the emergency room for our dog before heading off to boarding. The staff worked tirelessly over the Thanksgiving holiday to make sure that our dog, Rosie, got the care that she needed. The daily Pupdates were always our favorite part of the day, being away from her, and let us see that she was well taken care of. She called and asked me again and I said to not use flee shampoo because my dog takes medication . I informed her several times about not using flee shampoo and during all times she said she would not be using it. Had she said she couldn't accommodate my dog's needs I would had taken them somewhere else . She returned my other dog with her eyes irritated and has a cut in her eye . I asked her what they had done to her and she said she didn't know . My biggest issue is that they don't listen to instructions or notify you if they injure your dog . I understand accidents happen but I should had been notify so I can take my dog to the vet right away .upon taking my dog to the vet I was informed she has a cut in her eye and all of my dogs lashes where cut off during grooming which I didn't ask for . My elderly dog is traumatized after coming back from here . I'm not sure what they did to her but i would stay away from this place .

There's two places with a similar name and only two doors down from each other. This lady is so amazing that my dog pulls me like crazy to go inside, every time we have an appointment. She is a true dog lover and does the best job possible! My dog literally comes out of there looking like he's best in show every single time. She's fairly priced, usually booked a week in advance but always worth the wait. I was genuinely worried as this was my 6mo's first grooming session and was nervous about how he'd behave as he can get a little bite-y. Bobbi, from the moment I reached out about the appointment to sharing my concern, was great with communication/assuring me that they were going to be just fine. He was calm & relaxed after the appointment so I know they took good care of him. He almost looks like AI with how perfect he looks. Will definitely be returning for his next haircut!

And I love that I can do self service washes in between his full grooming times or when they are fully booked. But the last few times, the front desk staff has been unfriendly. I've tried to just play nice and ignore it but today was the last draw. As I was drying my golden and noticeably struggling because he hates the blow dryer and moving all over the place, the one of the front desk stops me and asks me to blow in the other direction that fur is going everywhere. I said: sorry but he doesn't like the blow dryer and don't you see me struggling already?! Then he proceeded to pluck his hair as if all the fur went in there directly and put a mask on (for dramatics). At the end at checkout, I explained to him that I didn't appreciate his quip and the fact is that he works at the front desk of a grooming salon... that it was rude and made me feel so uncomfortable that I left with a wet dog. Anyway, I try to always support small businesses but not at the cost of poor customer service. Too many other choices... y'all need to figure it out.
