To be honest, I was really skeptical about bringing my dog here--the outside doesn't exactly scream "trustworthy," and it looks a bit rough around the edges. But I was in a pinch and needed to get my pup bathed, so I gave it a shot--and I'm so glad I did! The groomer took great care of my dog, and he came out looking and smelling amazing, complete with the cutest little bandana. It's such a thoughtful touch, and he always gets tons of compliments when we're out for walks. Sometimes the best places are the hidden gems, and this one definitely is. I just moved to LA and this was the first place I called after seeing the good reviews and location was close to me. The man that answered and cut my 17 yr old shihtzu was extremely kind. He asked a lot of questions because he knew she was old. There were a lot of dogs already there getting groomed and bathed but it was so quiet ! None of them were barking. Somehow, they seemed to be comfortable and happy there. I saw a few dogs in the cages, at least one was on the table, and at least one was in the bath. I wanted her shaved except her tail and head bc of how dirty she's been getting while walking her here. Had a hard time finding a groomer a couple of days before Thanksgiving since everyone else was booked. Found this place just a few minutes from DTLA. I called the day before and they were able to accommodate me for the next day. A quality cut for the best price you can get near downtown. My dog was finished a lot sooner than I was expecting. She smelled so nice and looked so good when I got her back. My parents loved the haircut and agreed this will be her grooming spot from now on. read more

First I wanted to say from the outside this place does look a lil sketchy so I was a little hesitant about taking my dog here , BUT I did anyways and I must say they did an amazing job with my doggy she trimmed her nails very well great job with all the cleaning and the hair cut was amazing ! The reason I give it four star is because I did specify how I wanted her face to look a little more fuller but I did it over the phone so I couldn't show her a picture of what I wanted. I've had maltipoo's for 18 years. Which means years of grooming and care. Out of the hundreds of grooming visits I've taken my dogs, this was without a doubt the worst. It was also extremely expensive given the service provided. Even if it were half the price charged, I would have been dissatisfied. I could have and should have done it myself and saved $150.00. One dog came back with dirt on her body. No nail trimming and it took 4 hours. Do your self a favor and find another place. The more I think about it and see my dogs, the more upset I am. Several people jabs asked what happened to my dogs. read more

I usually don't take the time for reviews. (Sorry) but I find it VERY important to anyone thinking about bringing their baby here. To NOT come here. I needed my puppy's nails clipped and he moved around (like most dogs will the first time) and this horrible women grabbed him so hard he started to scream out and I walked over to the back (THANK GOD I HADN'T LEFT) to see him hanging from one leg and her scolding him. I immediately picked him up and left and I wish I could find a way to report this horrible behavior. As someone with a grooming place, she should know how to handle a dog without harming it. I live literally 1 min walking distance from here. I take my dog here to get his nails clipped only! Too many bad reviews to let these people do anything else. The inside doesn't look to comforting either. The lady never smiles and I've been coming here for over 2 yrs lol I walk past here a lot and rarely see people or dogs inside. I wonder if they get a lot of business. I never see them working on the dogs when I come in - just sitting. Hmm my advice, if you love your doggie I'm sure you can find anothet place nearby ...people who look like they actually love/like dogs lol read more

Although this is a very belated review, it need to be posted. I went to pick my dog up by the promised time and Cindy said he was not ready yet. I had waited in my parked car cause my dog got excited to see me. I looked into the grooming shop from the window and saw she was hitting the dog in the head area with her hand two times. That was completely unforgivable. Someone who is suppose to care for your animal, and they do this. It was more than light tap. Even if she had slapped my dog on the head lightly, It was dog abuse!! I think dogs should not or need not to be beaten in any way even though they're difficult and aggressive. If you are considering bringing your dog here, DON'T! This grooming lady can't be trusted for defenseless dogs. read more

U would've gave this a 3 but I'm giving it a 1.... I dropped my yorkie off at 12... And she told me I can pick him up at 6 or it can be done sooner... I told her that my dog can be very difficult too due to his abused past from neglect n scared of scissors etc. I called in by 6 and she's telling me that he's not done yet... And tells me over the phone that his left back leg is kinda sprained and pinned it out on me when he was just fine before we walked in. I get there n she tells my mom he jumped off the counter. N charged me extra $20 because he was difficult to work with...dude seriously? I did gave her 1 cause she dud do a great job on shaving him but my poor baby seem to be tramatized... To those that know me, my bichon is my baby. I drive all the way from Palm Springs to have my dog groomed at Cindy's. Located next to a liquor on Olympic Blvd, it's not the most glamorous place. But the lady here is the best. Aiden (my dog) always comes back looking fabulous and smelling like flowers. The whole grooming process does take time so don't expect to pick up your dog in one hour. This is not Beverly Hills so don't expect 5 star service either. I come here to have my dog look adorable, not for the smiles. Although after all the years of coming here, the owner has become very friendly and accommodating. If I'm willing to drive 2 hours to get my dog groomed here, it tells you something about her skills. read more

1. I asked the owner to please be careful with tools so my dog doesnt end up with cuts. 2. My dog was in so much pain after a grooming session from this place. 3.Found 5 cuts on her body including a chunk of her ear missing 4. The owner didnt mention anything when i picked up my dog. Been taking my two pups here for well over a year now. They come out looking like distinguished gentlemen! One of my pups is a demon dog when anyone gets near his nails with a clipper, but they do a great job getting it done. They come out looking adorable, smelling amazing, and even fashionable! They always have little bandanas on and it melts my heart. The prices are good too! Will definitely keep coming here, I trust them. I think the bad reviews are isolated incidents and people are more likely to leave bad reviews than good ones. read more

My Puppy Got an Ear Infection right after Grooming and it cost over $300 to get rid of it.

Moved away and I miss this place so much. She does a great job and my doggie loved her!

Located in the heart of Koreatown, I love this place. Cindy did a fabulous job! She doesn't speak english, but all the dogs looked impeccable and besides the nice elegant normal job she did for me, she does fancy stuff like dye your dog's hair for special occcasions. Have been getting my dogs groomed here for 7+ years. Her and her husband always do a wonderful job on my dogs and we are satisfied every single time. We get our dogs groomed once every two to three months (until their nails grow out) and we are never dissatisfied. You get what you pay for, which some reviewers have commented is a steeper price than other groomers, but I know my dogs are taken care of when I bring them here. She also does additional services like milk baths for dogs with scabies or allergies, and flea/tic repellent. You should definitely give this place a try! read more
