If there was a zero star rating, I would give it to her. I never usually write these reviews but I have never had such a horrible experience with a piercer before. I I had my tragus and rook pierced by Cindy. When my tragus piercing became embedded and I could no longer see the jewelry, I made an appointment with her because I assumed the piercer who performed the piercing would be the best person to help. At that appointment, she told me I needed to see a doctor. I followed her advice and went to a physician, who prescribed antibiotics and was able to expose the jewelry again. However, he explained that he did not have the specialized tools needed to remove the piercing and advised me to have it removed by a professional piercer as soon as possible to avoid further complications. I attempted to contact Cindy multiple times and then went to her studio in person. I explained that I was not asking her to take responsibility for the infection or provide medical treatment. I simply wanted the jewelry removed. I was even willing to pay for the service and sign a waiver if necessary. Unfortunately, the conversation became frustrating because I felt she was focused on explaining that she was not responsible for the infection rather than addressing my request for jewelry removal. Whether or not she believed she was responsible was never my concern. I was simply looking for assistance with a piercing she had originally performed. What frustrated me most was what happened after I left. Cindy called me and repeatedly told me that I needed to listen to her and that she was no longer responsible because I had changed the jewelry elsewhere and had not properly cared for the piercing. I explained multiple times that I was not asking her to take responsibility for the infection. I was simply asking whether she could remove the jewelry after a doctor told me that a piercer was the appropriate person to do so. The conversation kept returning to liability and responsibility rather than the actual request I was making. I was even willing to sign a waiver and pay for the service if that was what she required. However, the bottom line was that she would not help. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that I contacted another piercing studio immediately afterward. Despite having never pierced me before, they told me to come in right away, removed the jewelry without issue, and did not charge me. Shoutout Oak and Poppy in Weho!! The difference in customer service, compassion, and willingness to help was night and day. I understand that piercers have limits on what they can do and that medical issues sometimes require a doctor's involvement. However, I expected better customer service, clearer communication, and a greater willingness to help in a situation involving a piercing she originally performed. Not really sure why there are bad reviews for this place. Came on a slow Friday night to this mall in koreatown to eat dinner with friends. We had some time beforehand so I thought I would get my ears re-pierced since they closed up. I was somewhat hesitant given their reviews or lack thereof. When I got to the front we took a look at the prices and tattoo traces located on the window and door. The young woman who was working. The front came out and said hi and asked if we had any questions. We shared that we were interested in getting ear piercings and she welcomed us in saying walk-ins are available. After talking with Cindy, she swiftly and professionally pierced my ears (no gun, used needles). It looks great! She also shared a lot of info about tattoos and how we could always message her on Instagram to begin a draft or ideas. Both she and the young woman working the front were very kind, were very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. We didn't get validation here because we already got it from the photo booth store left of them. Would definitely come again if we're in the area!! read more

Thank you for my least painful piercing experience. ‍‍my repierced piercings are healing well, and grateful for her not putting a ring on a fresh piercing because that caused me keloids before. Refused to refund me because I agreed to a septum piercing and my issue was I didn't consent to her piercing the cartilage of my septum. A septum piercing is always pierced in what is considered the "sweet spot" and is generally painless. That takes 1-3 months to heal. She did not mention the sweet spot, nor did she confirm whether or not I had it prior to piercing me (which I do have the sweet spot). By the way, I came in for a repiercing because I took my septum piercing out long time ago, so I wanted to pierce it again, so I'm familiar with the pain. However as she pierced my septum, she had pierced my cartilage and it was the worst pain in my life. She showed me the piercing after and I told her it was too low. She has her front desk person translate for me that my body anatomy wouldn't let her pierce it higher. January 8th I called back because my septum was infected and noticed these were typical reactions to a cartilage piercing. Front desk person relays this to the piercer and confirmed that the piercer knew I had the "sweet spot" for the septum piercing, but ignored it cause she thought it would be prettier and more aesthetic to pierce it in my cartilage. A cartilage piercing takes 1-2 years to heal. Now she won't refund me and said I agreed to the service and didn't listen to her initially to take out the infected piercing. If someone decided to pierce your cartilage without your consent and then tells you to remove it when it's infected, surely you'd have trust issues on that. I got a second opinion from another licensed piercer that confirmed with me the piercing was done incorrectly. All I want is my refund. Pretty sure piercing someone's cartilage without their consent is traumatizing and emotionally distressing. Speaking from personal opinion. I was also sent my pictures back of how the piercing looks fine from the portrait angle which of course you can't immediately tell it's pierced in the cartilage. This piercing also couldn't be flipped up (proof that it was too low, I used to flip my old piercing up), and I'll share pics of the inside of my nose showing she pierced my cartilage. read more
