Most polish she has are dry and gunky, went on thick when applied and took long to dry.

I got my nails done here today for the first time and wanted to get a pedicure too, but as she did my finger nails and I experienced her work I decided against getting more work by her. I honestly think I could've done a better job myself at home. She didn't clean my cuticle and I mentioned it to her and she said other people do it wrong. I should've taken it as a sign that most of her nail polishes were gunky and dry and looked old and like they hadn't been mixed or moved in a while. I was going to get a pedi and manis for my 3 girls too, but hated what little she did to my hands so I decided against it. I didn't want to be rude in front of my kids, but I really wanted to let her know to her face that she had given me the WORST mani I've ever had so far and that's it might be time to retire if she doesn't have a passion for her work anymore.

save your money. this gel mani wasn't just $25. It was $30 more to have it removed and redone somewhere else. I hate to leave bad reviews and try not to because everyone has a bad day, but this was just awful.

I found Rose via Yelp reviews and proximity, as I've been short with free time, so I needed to get my nails done BADLY somewhere close by. Rose stayed late to accommodate my schedule and last minute notice. The place was clean and she let me pick my color right away for the gel mani. Chairs are covered, table separated with plexi glass, & she made sure to show me the tools had been sanitized. Rose was open to communication; she wanted me to keep my nails a good length but I wanted to cut them down to my shortest nail, so she did. I'm so grateful about this visit! As a healthcare worker, I've been careful about the establishments I go to, and hadn't gotten my nails done since 2019! Will def be back!

I was driving by today and just noticed Cindy's Nails and a walk in welcome sign! I actually did a uturn because I just love small places over the mall where I was headed to look for something. (I just moved here.) I'm SO glad I did! Rose is a one woman show in there and she is SO sweet! Her prices are way more reasonable than those bigger places too! She did exactly what I asked and didn't try to get me to do a billion more things! I only wish I had any friends here I could tell to go see her, so I'm doing it here!

Needed a manicure very last minute and Cindy's took me at my needed time. It is located on Artesia just down the street from house. The place has been around a long time delivering good one on one attention. Nice feeling from some of the larger salons. I will say they had a small selection of gel colors but found one I liked. She did my gel mani/pedi in under a hour and very reasonably priced. By appointment only but worth it! read more

Rosa's customer service is phenomenal but her art work unfortunately is not good. I was charged $50 for a pedicure and unfortunately my nail was missing color and the polish job was horrible. I didn't want to spend money elsewhere so I went home and repainted my toe nails. read more

Rose is amazing! She rents out the space and she's so sweet. If you call and ask for a time outside of hours listed, she'll try to accommodate you. I get acrylic done here. I got them for $25 and $18 for refill. I got a pedicure with my acrylic and it was $40 so she knocked off a couple of dollars. read more

WORST NAILS I HAVE EVER GOTTEN!! Just look at the pictures!!! I showed her a picture of what I wanted (pinkish/silver picture) and she ended up doing them completely to HER liking (red nails). I told her I wanted long nails and she proceeded to cut down my nails & said "you work in an office, you don't need long nails". Then I told her she needed to fix the shape because they were ALL crooked and she said "you see something different than me because of our angels. On my angel they look good" What?! Who says this?! Oh and the cherry on top was that it was HOT as hell in there!!! read more

I love Rose. I live in San Diego but whenever I am in Redondo area I stop in for her one of kind manicures and pedicures. I try to go once a month if I can. No one gets rid of pain like her - she specializes in so many things you can't seem to find anywhere else - she is incredible with in grown toenails. But, that's not all she's an artist and does the cutest artwork on my toes! Plus she is a genuine caring person and fun to spend time with. Cindy is very good at customer care, greeting you with a smile and warmth; I would give 10 stars for her hospitality and kindness but 1 star for the gel manicure and the poor color choices offered at this place (cost is $30 and accepting cash only, jfyi). I visited Cindy's Nails today for the first time and I left feeling like I make a lifetime friend. Rose is the woman who helped me and she was so kind and accommodating. Cindy's Nails is a great nail place! I have been going to Lynne, one of the owners, for 25 years! She is excellent and hand paints beautiful designs on my nails! Her sister Rose does my pedicures! I kioj forward to my relaxing massages when I go there! It is a clean place and they take extra care with Covid! I started with a pedicure from Theary, who is genuinely one of the sweetest people I've ever met. While we were chatting, she noticed my Gel-X nails had grown out and mentioned they had time to do a fill. I admitted I'm ridiculously picky about my nails and usually don't let just anyone touch them. Without missing a beat, she smiled and said, "Don't worry, I have the perfect person for you." Enters Ivy. They covered my lap, Ivy started my Gel-X fill while Theary continued my pedicure, and I couldn't believe what was happening. Two services at the same time, zero rushing, and incredible attention to detail. I was in and out in about an hour, which honestly felt like magic. Not only did they both do an amazing job, but they had me laughing the entire time. It felt less like a nail appointment and more like hanging out with friends who also happen to be incredibly talented. I've been getting my nails done for years, and this level of efficiency and customer service is rare. Let's just say my nail salon back home might be getting a few pointers after this experience. She won't rest until my toes look absolutely perfect! She's also always so kind to me, so coming in is a really good experience from start to finish. I used to get pedicures wherever it was convenient for me, but now I only want to come to OMG to see Judy because she really is sooooooo much better than anyone else. I always leave so happy and grateful! I recommend her highly. OMG is also such a cute salon: the chairs are really cute and comfy, they serve drinks, the polishes available are super cute, and it's really easy to make appointments online (and sometimes I can make them the day of or the night before, which is so helpful). Been here many times before for my own engagement and wedding nails and was happy. But this time was beyond upset. She made me bleed, she couldn't even do a simple nail design I showed her. Some nails thick, the side showing my nails. She did zero cuticle prep. Didnt bother to trim my nails or clean prior. On a different note, receptionisy was great and so was the lady who did my pedicure. Wont be going back. I prefer a sociable nailist who talks to you and actually is nice.

It seems like the experience you get depends on who you are or who walks through the door. For example, some customers are offered water while others aren't, and when it comes to fixing a nail, one person might be told "come back in an hour," while someone else is told "of course, we'll take care of it." I appreciate businesses that treat all customers equally, and sadly that hasn't been my experience here. The inside decor is beautiful and the location is super convenient, which makes it even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the way the salon is run really takes away from what could otherwise be a great spot. I'll be looking for a new nail salon moving forward.

What attracted me to this salon was the fact that it was a one-person business. I'm always reluctant to try a new place because satisfaction is subjective based on who is providing the service. Liz shares space with a cute kid's hair salon in a residential area of Redondo Beach. I've lived here for years and never passed by, even though it's so close I could walk over. I decided to have Liz clean up my brows, and she did a great job. I also had a spa pedicure and am pleased with her work. I didn't feel rushed at all and as other reviewers said, she's very meticulous. I'm glad I found Liz on Yelp and am happy to add another 5-Star review for her services. I'll be back!

After Nancy lost my business for good a few years ago, I went elsewhere, but when that salon was taken over and went downhill, I pinged my friend (who was still with Liz) to find out about her new salon. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy with kids getting haircuts, but I was still able to chill out in the awesome spa chair. Liz did an amazing job as always--she is very focused on quality and it really shows. Keep in mind I live in Playa, so there are plenty of places closer that I could go. But Liz does a great job, genuinely cares for her customers and knows how to run a business. I am so happy I was able to go back to a familiar face and get an awesome mani/pedi. Liz is the best... go see her, you won't be disappointed!

There are a few things that happened that I did not think were appropriate ranging from appointment…read morepractices, to service, to cleanliness. I booked an appointment for 5:30pm and arrived on time. When I arrived I said hello and checked in. I was instructed to sit in the first chair and that someone would be right with me. I sat there for 15 minutes in a chair that had no liner or towel, so I sat awkwardly with my legs to the side waiting for someone to put one one since I did not want to contaminate a clean foot bath/ chair. It was 18 minutes before the receptionist noticed and gave me nail colors to look through. It was another 10 minutes before my nail tech came over to me and put my water in. So it was 28 minutes past my appointment before I got to start my service despite calling that morning to book an appointment. The service itself was partially okay. The only part I was happy with was the painting of the nails themselves. There's no streaks or polish on my skin but that's unfortunately the only positive thing I can say. The nail tech literally cut my sidewalls at an angle without asking me. To make matters worse, she didn't even cut them completely and she used her cuticle cutters to grab the hangnail she CREATED and proceeded to tug at it until it ripped off. So I will have an ingrown in 3-4 weeks now. I paid for the middle level package which included a scrub. She left half of it on my legs until my service was over, leaving my legs sticky and dirty when I got up. For both the scrub AND my massage she did it for the allotted amount of time but she would drift off midway through and just hold my leg/ foot. I told her my leg was shaking cuz of the position and I needed to move it, and while she agreed she would literally squish my toes down to paint them at a position easier for her. I don't know if she was tired but I did not deserve a service like that. The cleanliness issue was minimal. She did take tools out of a blue package, but then she pulled an old nail file out, blew who knows what off of it, and proceeded to use it on my toenails. I was asked if my service was okay at the end and I said sure. I did not care to stay and argue because by the time this whole thing was over, it was almost two hours later due to waiting time and lack of interest in doing my service. I still tipped $6 and I don't think I will ever return. It might look nice inside but i shouldn't have to assertive about someone doing their job when i paid $59 for a service. I genuinely hope whatever happened was a fluke but I'm extremely disappointed to say the least.

I asked for a specific nail design for the World Cup, and Tullia totally delivered. She is so sweet and detail oriented. She obviously takes pride in what she does because she was so meticulous in her work and the result exceeded my expectations. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and told her it didn't have to be exact, but she made sure it came out just like the photo and checked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the progress. I don't do nails too often, usually because the choices are overwhelming sometimes, but she made the process so easy and comfortable. Salon is clean, comfortable, with free parking. Other ladies are super nice too, Jenny helped me with my pedicure. Price seemed really fair, she spent close to 2 hours on my nails, and for that much time and effort, I think it was very affordable. They have a frequent user program too, with a rewards card. I plan on coming here for all my mani/pedi moving forward. Thank you Tullia for your beautiful work!

What can I say about Cindy's? Absolutely the best nail salon experience ive ever had. The two sisters that own and operate salon are the best....not only the best work but the best attitude as well and Rose, who usually does my nails will keep you in stitches the entire time. I felt very comfortable and did not have to put up with the usual innapropriate speach in a foriegn language that you just know is directed torwards you or other clientelle. read more
