First time coming here yesterday and the overall atmosphere was lovely. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner Vicky and she welcomed me with open arms, offering me snacks and water while getting my nails done. Nancy was my nail tech and did an amazing job on my gel x nails! Thank you so much Vicky the manager for being so welcoming to everyone but also maintaining a very clean shop ! I needed a lot of help on my nails because I tried to remove hard gel at home and used nail glue for press on nails. I felt bad for coming to a nail salon with such difficult nails, but I was greeted by the friendly receptionist and felt welcomed. They didn't judge me for my messed up nails and fixed it nicely. It's very clean and their service was high quality with competitive pricing. I was a little skeptical because there were old reviews about the spa, but with the new management I really have no complaints. The first time I got my nails done here I absolutely loved it. It was perfect. I got gel X and a pedicure. The lady didn't really wanna talk until she asked me what I do for a living then her energy changed. The entire time the lady was talking about my glasses and giving me compliments asking me where I worked. It was a little weird, but I didn't care or think anything of it. The next time I came in and got gel nails and a pedicure, I wasn't able to tip as big as I did the time before and they treated me completely different. my nails broke off the same day I got them done. I came back to get it fixed and then it broke again the next day and when I came back, they refunded me my money and didn't want to fix it. A few months later today, I came back to get my gel nails and my pedicure and they said they had somebody available. Then the lady looks at me and all the sudden nobody is available. It made me a lil sad and uncomfortable that they would treat me this way for no reason. I am a young black woman and they definitely prioritized the older non black women that come in and treated them differently until they heard I was a celebrity chef. Then everything changed. Hope you guys treat your customers better in the future. I'm very disappointed because I sent so many people to them and was excited to come back. read more

Wow! This little gem is my new go to nail salon as my previous shop had to close due to Covid :( My sister brought me and I'm so glad she did. The receptionist Teresa is super sweet, and makes you feel right at home. My nail artist Tracy took her time, and undid my crazy attempt to upkeep my own nails after months of not being able to go somewhere (LOL) I got a French gel mani, and loved it! My nails got so short after the pandemic so I'll document as they start to grow long again. Oh, and my eyebrow wax was on point as well. I feel like a new woman. Drove from DTLA and I must say I was not disappointed. Not only is this establishment clean, they make sure to follow CDC guidelines and they have protective shields on all nail stations. My nails were PERFECT!!!. Super sleek and natural looking. What I loved the most was that I did not feel rushed. My nail tech took her time and made sure I was happy every step of the way. I have been coming here for years and years. The service and quality you get would cost you a small fortune elsewhere in the South Bay. Everyone here does a great job. They take their time, are friendly and will help you with whatever you are requesting. I usually have Tom do my nails. He's always top notch. Today it was Sophie and oh my she did a fantastic job. Please see pic. I said "ummm I want to do Easter egg nails!" and Vicky and Sophie suggested doing the tips. So cute. No matter what you're asking for, they will always help you achieve your vision. Since Jenny and fam oversaw the renovations and revamp in recent years, it's just gotten better and better. Highly recommend. read more

Kimberly does the best work and I would always recommend seeing her for a pedicure or a full set. The prices here at Jade are unmatched anywhere. Stopped by with my girlfriends and was sat right away even on a Sunday! Got my nails done today for Valentine's Day, wanted something fun and girly. Establishment was very clean and well looked after. Something I really look for when getting my nails done. Especially during these times! Vicky and Tom are so nice. They really take their time filing and listen to what I want in my nail shape. The service was really friendly and always made sure I was comfortable. I had a gel manicure here that lasted well over a month without any peeling or bubbling. My family has been coming here for years so I gave them a shot. A clean no frills quiet salon that can get you in right away. Staff is attentive and friendly, I have sensitive cuticles and they've never nicked them. Kim the owner is now located at Jade's Beauty spa next door to 99cent store! Unfortunately due to a fire, her shop is closed at the moment. I am visiting from Michigan and decided to see what's out here, her reviews wowed me! Not only does she know what she's doing, but she does an AMAZING JOB AT IT! You can definitely tell this women is passionate and very knowledgeably in this field of work. Kim is carful, super sweet, has a good eye to details and all around just a wonderful lady. The inside decor is beautiful and the location is super convenient, which makes it even more disappointing. I did a gel polish change that should be $25+, was charged $37 (random number to land on) only for it to be the wrong shape and color. The texture on my left hand is also botched from brush strokes. I was very okay with the color being wrong (asked for the pastel) and still love the color she ended up doing since it is my usual go to -- bubble bunny and funny bunny. However to find out the price was $37 was very odd for a gel polish change, no manicure... For the pedicure I had 2 different ladies that worked on it (switched midway through) and she ended up doing an additional coat of funny bunny and the color was outside the nail bed so she ended up using the drill to remove the access... pretty painful (,: Will I still come back? Probably. Would I rate them 0/10? No I'm not that entitled lol Pros: great hours, decent quality and lasts long Cons: not great quality, thin out the nail bed with the drill too often, inconsistent prices

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautifully decorated space that made me feel instantly relaxed. Tom, the nail technician who worked on my nails, was simply amazing! He was attentive, professional, and truly skilled at his craft. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered great suggestions that enhanced my vision. The attention to detail was impressive, and you could tell that Tom takes pride in his work. The quality of the products used was top-notch, and my nails have never looked better! Highly recommend if you're looking for a place you can come back to again and again.

Terrible experience here…read more I came in to get a pedicure because I am pregnant and can't reach my feet anymore. While my left foot soaked she trimmed and filed the nails on my right foot. When it came time to switch she skipped trimming the nails on the left foot and went straight to working on cuticles. Which during that process she ripped skin off of my big toe and made me bleed. I waited to see if she would trim the nails on that side but she switched feet again and started doing cuticles on the right foot. When she was done I asked if she could trim the nails on the left foot. She turned to talk to the manager because she didn't understand what I was requesting. After some back and forth with the manager she laughed and said she already did it. She pointed to my big toe that she made bleed and said "remember?!" I let her know that she only did my cuticles but she didn't trim the nails and I would like her to do that. She again turned to the manager and had a back and forth exchange with her and then the manager told me she already did it. At this point I was feeling gaslit and upset so I just told them it's fine. They talked to eachother for a few more exchanges and then the technician laughed, and started filling the nails on my left foot and trimming more of my cuticles. This was my fourth visit over two years and every time I have had a negative experience. This was by far the worst and I will never return here again.

Service took long. Interesting way to do the Pedicure. Your feet don't go into water until about halfway through service. Only two pedicure techs available. Polish change did not include cutting or filling nails. They charge for removal of gel polish with services, which is unsual in my experience.
