This place had the worst customer service. I'm not sure if there's a language barrier where there are misunderstandings, if the employees just aren't paying attention because they're too busy chatting with each other or if the employees truly just want to rush out of work and don't care about taking the correct order. The worst part is that I gave them a $5+ dollar tip at the beginning of the transaction just to take my order which was all wrong in the end. I took my out of town sister and her kids to the Mckinny Cinnabon (highway 121) to order 5 cinnamon rolls and the only two employees working told me they were closing in 10 minutes as to pursued me to leave and not order. That was strange because it was 6:36pm (based on the timestamp of my receipt) so I guess they close at 6:46pm? I told them our family would just take them to go and eat them at home and not delay them from closing. The two employees were talking to each other while they were taking my order. We spent more than $41 at $8.25 each and got completely different cinnamon rolls than what I ordered and only 4 were input not 5. I pointed out when I got my cinnamon roles they were wrong and that I ordered 5 not 4. They offered me a 5 already made cinnamon role at a charge of $8.25 that wasn't the role we even ordered or wanted. I just took the bag and left with the 4 wrong cinnamon roles.

Cinnaholic is a great place for sweet dessert lovers! Build your own cinnamon roll, choose from an extensive menu, or try other items such as cookies/drinks! The campfire smores roll was loaded with toppings. Keep in mind it definitely is a bit sweet and heavy, so it may not appeal to those with a milder sweet tooth. Service is always friendly, and the ambiance is nice and simple!

Bought these as half a dozen for a friend's birthday and they were the UGLIEST things I've ever seen. For $50... absolutely annoyed the helll out of me. Why wouldn't you let the buns cool before decorating them??? As soon as I got home and opened the boxes it was a complete mess. No they didn't drop or move you can tell all of the icing and toppings was melted off. No wonder the worker didn't want me to open the boxes there to combine them in one big box.. nah this ruined my gift and ruined my day. Flavor wise this was NOT worth $8 a bun.. save your money.

Their classic cinnamon rolls are delicious. Depending on the month the icing may be a different color. I first experienced Cinnaholic while living in Las Vegas an I'm so happy to have a location close by. I've never tried any other cinnamon rolls but if they're anything like their classic then you're in for a treat.

My husband and I went Saturday night 9/28/24 and ordered 4 Cinnamon Rolls. 2 of them were good, the other 2 were just okay to me. However the 1 star is because of the customer service. Upon walking in 1 lady did greet us, however, the lady taking our order has such a BAD ATTITUDE and it made me because my husband gave a 15% tip and this is the "customer service" we received. We will not return to this location again.

Beautiful, monstrous, gourmet cinnamon rolls! My sister and I ordered three different kinds to take home and share. The flavors are bold, yet sweet and the dough is perfectly baked to a light, golden brown. And the employees' sweetness matched. We'll for sure be back!

As a vegan of 7 years I am always looking for the best vegan eats and sweets. So while I am visiting some friends in Texas I found a Cinnaholic down the road! I first had Cinnaholic in San Jose, CA however they permanently closed very recently which is a major bummer. Anyway, I introduced my friends to the delightful cinnamon rolls here and although my friends are not vegan they loved it! They said if I hadn't told them it was fully vegan they would have never known. We visited the McKinney location and the service was quick, staff were welcoming and polite and had us in and out in less than 10 mins. I loved the year round Christmas tree they have decorated for the spring season :) we ordered an original roll, some baby buns with cake batter frosting and the cookie butter roll. I usually go for the monkeys business which is chocolate and bananas or the s'mores (you can't go wrong with marshmallows and chocolate!) but I wanted something different this time. The cookie butter was absolutely amazing and I went back the next day to get it again! Cookie butter frosting, cookie butter crumbles, oh my! So so good. Delicious!! The environment is super friendly, the customer service is amazing, and the food is worthy of breaking any diet you're on! We ordered the Texas Praline and the Pumpkin Cheesecake rolls. They were both so good! The employee did a great job telling us about the ingredients in everything, making sure we were aware of possible allergens, and she was overall pleasant and friendly! 10/10 will definitely be back!

My sister and I were just looking for a place to get some breakfast and this spot popped up in our page. We thought we would go and try it and had zero regrets. It was so, so yummy and the service was awesome. The owner was so friendly and patient while we took forever to choose what we wanted because of all the great options. It is a little small but there's enough space for one - two couples to sit inside the store if needed. They also have vegan chocolate chip cookies that were fire . Because I am a cookie lover, I enjoyed that even more than the cinnamon rolls but no matter what you choose from here, you cannot go wrong!

Okay so basically I feel like the Richardson Cinnaholic location spoiled me and raised my expectations waaaaay too high. Last weekend I went there for the first time and was absolutely blown away! Everything was absolutely perfect. So whenever I saw that a McKinney location, recently opened, I was elated! I mean hello, who wouldn't want to live 10 minutes away from the heavenly place that cinnamon roll dreams are made of? With that in mind, naturally, and perhaps naively, I was expecting to receive the same level of perfection I was met with last week. Sadly, that was absolutely not the case. As you can see from my photo, they DEFINITELY didn't give me anywhere near the amount of toppings I received at the Richardson location. There was more icing than anything else and the other toppings seem to have been an afterthought. Also, the cinnamon roll wasn't as fresh and fluffy as the one I received at the Richardson location. Was it the worst thing in the world? Of course not! It just absolutely did not meet my (perhaps, unfairly set) expectations. After comparing both photos, I really can't wrap my mind around the fact that I paid the same price for both of them, especially since the one from this location is noticeably unimpressive in comparison to the other. Maybe this was just a fluke since they just opened and things will improve after they work out the kinks? Who knows. I truly hope so. But yeah, even though I'm pretty bummed about it, a lesson was DEFINITELY learned. I am willing to give this location another chance in the future, but in the meantime, the next time my craving strikes, I will absolutely make the 20 minute drive to the Richardson location.

I just want to say thank you to Delish Bubble tea for NOT being open so I decided to go to Cinnaholic instead. :). What an amazing place. I had the caramel apple roll and it was fantastic! It was almost TOO sweet (which I don't say often!!) but it was so good. I took some items home so we got to try the brownie, cinnadoodle cookie and Texas pecan roll. There was not one that I would not order again. I'm actually happy this is a little farther away or I would be having a serious weight issue! Also, the worker was wearing a mask and gloves and there are spots on the floor to stand 6 feet apart.

This is the S'mores roll and it was delicious!!

I've done pickup and ordered delivery from Cinnaholic a few of times now. All icing is dairy-free - and options include fruit with cinnamon roll toppings (in-store only) for those seeking/needing gluten-free options. Whether it's a caramel praline, tropical (with banana and blueberries), raspberry/apple/blueberry pie - all flavors have been delicious and make a fun treat - and even sweet gift. I recommend picking up four cinnamon rolls for a group of four and splitting them 4-ways so that you get to try more flavors and figure out which ones you like best:)

Consistently good quality cinnamon buns. If you want to try one of their house creations, I recommend the cookie dough cinnamon roll that comes topped with chocolate chips, chocolate drizzle, frosting and cookie dough . I've tried the Richardson one many times over the years and loved it. Now, there's a location in McKinney, which is closer to home for me so I'm not sure if that's good or bad lol. I recommend calling and ordering ahead if you have an order that contains more than a couple rolls, just to make sure everything is ready if you want to just pick them up. A true dream! I'm so glad that they have finally opened a location in McKinney so that my family can enjoy this place. My personal favorite is the peanut butter blast! Delicious!!! I came in to get a special birthday treat and I enjoyed every single calorie of it. The roll is AMAZING!! I found it to be super fresh and not too sweet. I had the hot cocoa specialty roll today. I liked the marshmallow chocolate frosting and the mini marshmallow and chocolate chip topping were the perfect accent. My kids loved the mini buns. They liked that they had frosting to dip in especially since one kiddo likes lots of frosting and the other just likes a little. We will definitely be back to try some other flavors and to build our own. read more

I have been to the Richardson location several times and I was excited to see this location open near my house! The cinnamon rolls are good, but they're a little too sweet for me. This is a small shop, laid out like a ice cream parlor, but serves hot cinnamon rolls. However, they make the best cinnamon roll I've had in the past 20 years. Extraordinary and delectable. Especially the Texas Praline version. The roll is good, the bread has good chew, the icing has the right stickyness and not drippyness, and the topping is salty and tasty. This roll is life changing. While a bit pricy, it is exceptional. If you are having a bad day, this roll will fix it. read more

I ordered cinnamon rolls from Cinnaholic for Christmas breakfast. I picked them up the day before and heated them up Christmas morning. They were perfect. Everyone loved them. Vegan, non-vegan. Didn't matter. The frosting was amazing, the extra stuff they gave us to top it with was great, and the fruit was a must! The team at Cinaholic McKinney @ custer and 121was amazing!!! They filled a fairly large order for us with no prior notice and it only took about 15 minutes. Not bad for 2 dozen rolls, 1 dozen cookies and 1 dozen brownies. They even provided a hand written chart showing the flavors inside the boxes and separated the ones with nuts into a separate box in case anyone had nut allergies. We will definitely be going back to this location even though there are ones closer to our house. Great Job and Outstanding Customer Service!!!! read more

If you have a sweet tooth AND you love exceptional customer service, then the Cinnaholic McKinney location is the spot for you. I love that they are vegan, offer fresh selections, and allow you to develop your own creation. I AM a Cinnaholic. The bright spot for this particular location is the top notch customer service I received. I was in town visiting, but I had a coupon from the Pearland location that would expire prior to my arriving back in Houston. The McKinney location graciously honored the coupon. They did not have to do that, but those acts are what keep businesses thriving. I will visit this location each time I return to the DFW area when I need a sugar fix. I ordered the cherry cheesecake cinnamon roll to share with my family (we're small people). Every one of us had our jaws drop as soon as the roll hit our mouths (which we promptly closed to make sure we didn't lose even the tiniest part of the roll). The cherry, the crumble, the roll, the frosting: all of it perfectly complemented and no single flavor was overpowering. I recommend all people, near and far, to come to Cinnaholic and get a roll. (Also, the fact this is vegan is seriously unbelievable, my sister-in-law looked it up after, and I still couldn't believe. You will *not* know this is vegan.) To add the cherry on top (pun definitely intended), the staff were SO friendly and seriously spent five minutes helping walk me through pretty much every type of roll they were offering, and their opinion on each. They were so patient and so kind! Part of me is glad I don't live nearby because otherwise I would likely be gaining a lot of (delicious) weight. read more

I love cinnamon rolls. I'm glad to have finally tried Cinnaholic, which serves huge, warm, and fluffy cinnamon rolls. Not to mention, it's plant based too! I like my cinnamon rolls pretty plain, so I asked for icing on the side. The roll was warm, dense, and chewy. I put a small dab of icing on the roll and it was perfect. They offer different toppings for cinnamon rolls, including apple pie, chocolate chip cookies and oreo cookies, and s'mores. In addition, they also serve cookies and edible cookie dough. So many options to share with a group, or just for yourself! The shop is small, yet cute and the staff here are really nice and accommodating. Overall, I'm a fan and I look forward to trying more items. Enjoy! read more

The cinnamon buns here are just like the ones in your dreams! You should definitely try this place at least once because they live up to the hype. I'd definitely recommend getting the pecan one. AHHHHHHHHHH-MAZING!!! Whenever I think "Vegan", I think of, "meh, I'll pass". These Vegan babies though, omg are the best cinnamon rolls, cookies and brownies I've ever had! They're gooey, sweet, soft and just down right delicious! You can make them anyway you want, with any toppings and any flavor icing you want! Just a yummy treat! The crew is awesome and very professional and kind and the inside is very clean and trendy! You've gotta try this place! read more

We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this store and we went in on opening day. We knew because of COVID we'd have to wait, but they had shade set up and gave us water (and a hot wheels for our toddler!) the line went pretty fast and they had a good flow to the store. We ordered and our rolls came up much faster than I expected for opening day. The flavors were awesome combinations and the buns were delicious! We will definitely be back! read more

Ordered 2 dozen baby buns for my sons pre-k class and they were a hit so we stopped by tonight so my husband and I could try them and OH.MY.GOD these little buns are DELICIOUS. The different kinds of frostings and toppings are awesome and the fact that they are 100% vegan/dairy free (nut free as long as you don't get nut toppings) was just - well - the icing on the bun. Went to the McKenny Cinnaholic location this morning, and was greeted by the sweetest people with the most insane cinnamon rolls! All the cinnamon rolls are made daily from scratch and in house. They also don't contain eggs or milk, so there is no need to refrigerate these amazing treats to keep them fresh. The McKinney location is a mother-daughter business and the two of them were so sweet and welcoming! We tried the Texas praline roll, the German chocolate roll, and their s'mores cookie dough. Every single one was amazing! We also got some homemade cookies, brownies, and banana bread (not pictured) that were equally as good. Make sure you stop by the Cinnaholic in McKinney to get the Texas praline roll (only available in Texas). Also make sure you check out their Instagram! We'll 100% be going back. read more

While the frosting is sweet, take that into account when you're making your selections and if you don't like too sweet...mix with fruit cause it's the perfect blend. With the caramel, chocolate and cookie dough blends I added a touch of sea salt (at home)...not only does it cut the sweet but enhances the flavors at the same time. What's not to love about this concept? Every single combination I've tried here has been amazing. The long list of frostings and toppings allow for endless combinations. Have some water or coffee ready, and share with a friend, because these rolls are super sweet and decadent. There are so many options to choose from and every icing and topping tastes amazing. Plus, the cinnamon rolls themselves are always warm and fluffy and delicious. My favorite is a roll with cream cheese frosting, cookie dough, and strawberries. I swear it is to die for. That cream cheese frosting is my favorite thing. And if you though it couldn't get better, it did. They started serving scoops of cookie dough with your choice of frosting and toppings. Another bonus, everything here is vegan! I don't know how they do it, but everything offered is 100% vegan and it still tastes just as good (better even) than regular old cinnamon rolls. Huge plus.
