Anyway, I'm writing this review about Eddie (i think!) he seems to be the owner, he's the adult Asian male who works there. So after i got my screen the second time, my phone was glitching for phone calls and it wasn't working , i took it in and he worked on my phone for a day at no cost to me. I went to CIR to repair a speaker on iPhone XR. AT&T told me the speaker needed to be replaced on the phone so before I did anything I went to CIR because they have been honest and great to deal with in the past. Sure enough, CIR told me the speaker port had dust build up and did not need to be replaced. He cleaned it out in 2 minutes and gave it back in perfect working order. Went in to get a new screen for my iphone. The screen they gave me was a non-apple-certified screen. I paid around $300 for an OEM screen. What annoys me is that they charge the same prices as geeksquad or the apple store while giving you a non-certified screen with questionable quality. The screen works. BIG thank you to Eddie and Thuc for not only repairing my cracked iPhone screen very quickly, but also for their notable professionalism and expertise. Long story short, I had cracked my screen (before this unfortunate second incident) a couple months ago and had it fixed at a different repair shop. At CIR, as Thuc was in the process of repairing my phone, he found that my OEM LCD was missing and instead replaced with a cheaper AM LCD... I had no knowledge of this prior and was so shocked to hear that. I already knew that the previous repair shop had replaced my glass screen with an AM glass, but to find out that they took my fully functional OEM LCD? Wow. I mean, I noticed that my iPhone's touch sensitivity was a little off after the first repair, but never would I have known that my OEM LCD was taken without my knowledge and replaced if it weren't for Thuc and Eddie. Also, Thuc told me that 5-6 screws were missing from the inside... (Are you kidding me??) At CIR, I was able get my screen replaced, perfectly, with OEM glass, AND on top of that, upon discovering the missing/replaced parts, they provided me with an OEM LCD and installed it into my phone (free of charge!). What a difference it made. I was seriously awed at how vivid the display looked and how sensitive the touch screen was after the repair. If another unfortunate incident occurs (fingers crossed, please not again)... I know I'll be back at CIR. For sure. read more

We are all slave to technology these days and one of the single most valued piece of property is our smartphones. So when there are issues, we need to find reliable, trustworthy, affordable and timely help. I have had a few experiences that adulterer in one of those areas, so I have come to appreciate a business that meets these 4 criteria. This place is one of those great places. I have a iPhone 5, which has been a powerhouse for me. I am not one to always need the latest greatest at the cost, so I have made this work for me for the past 4ish years. I am planning on upgrading to the X (cue the "ahhhhh" music), but with one month to go, the battery in my 5 was going and going quickly. I just needed to limp this phone along for a couple weeks. It heated up like a North Korean nuke while charging and using (which I didn't care cause some like it hot) but the charge dropped quicker and worst of all the battery was swelling, and pushing the screen out. Not good unless you like to peek in on what Siri is really wearing. I called around and not many had the iPhone 5 batteries in stock and I would see a couple day turnaround-not good for my addiction to electronic stimulus/gratification. But I called and Eddie said he had some. 10 minutes later I was in be door and $60 and 10 minutes and my phone is like new-even though I still plan to shop in a month for a iPhone X. I would have been in a world of hurt with work if my current phone failed in the next few weeks; well worth the cash to get this one fixed. I highly recommend you stop in if you need work done. Their shop is stocked with waters and snack, things to preoccupy your time, as well as they do the work in front of you. Totally transparent. I even saw they were selling some used iPhone 6's & 7's +'s, so I am sure they can solve your needs.
