We didn't stay here so I can only rate based on our experience in the casino. Pretty large casino, with an absolutely massive sports book, as well as a massive and impressive sports book POOL. Game variety was pretty good, and we had decent luck while gambling. (Which is nice, but I don't factor into my rating.) The casino staff were all very friendly, especially the very friendly bartender at the bar to one side of the sports book, it was extremely not and as soon as we sat down had us set up with ice cold water, and a small portable fan to help us cool off, it was very much appreciated. With a lot of the stuff that seems to be coming down to Fremont street, I would be interested in staying at Circa on a future visit! read more

The best part is being adults only. This makes the whole Vegas experience better. The elevators are one of my favorite items in the whole place, so dang fast and efficient. Lovely hotel with some serious Midcentury vibes! Our friends recommended this off the strip hotel/casino to us and it did not disappoint! From the security staff to the front desk reception, everyone have been nothing but courteous and friendly! Even one of the security guards has reminded me to keep my ID with me as I was leaving to go to the nearby ABC store. The rooms are spacious and the king sized bed is so comfortable to sleep in. The elevators are well designed and you never have to wait long, as long as you pay attention to the assigned elevator. I also have enjoyed Stadium Swim (was even able to squeeze in my brother in law for free too!). But honestly the star of the show has go to be the shower and that omg amazing water pressure. I have taken too many showers to count within a short span of a weekend there. I so look forward coming back here even though I don't care for Vegas that much. I also hear rave reviews about the pan Asian cuisine restaurant on the 2nd floor but didn't try. Maybe next time! read more

I will start by saying holy cow! When they adopted the whole go big or go home theme for this place they weren't kidding! Well this is a 21 and over place so keep your kids at home when you're coming here. I stayed here a couple times already and I'll detail my experience below and without further adieu. CHECK IN: check-in was quite efficient, everybody behind the desk has a truly professional approach and displays copybook guest service. ROOM: I booked the Circa Suite both times. It is majestic looking. Everything has a blue and gold theme. The room has a bar area right when you come in everything is controlled electronically and there is an iPad tablet type thing in the room where you can make your local calls from listen to a radio station and request service from. The bathroom is amazing, the gold theme in the bathroom makes everything look luxurious .....the shower has awesome pressure and is very relaxing. The living area I can't say enough good things about and the bed also was top of the line. I had to stay twice. STADIUM SWIM: This 6 pool colossal swimming venue was absolutely stunning. Anticipation is sometimes better than the real thing as they make this big production of you going up a three floor escalator in anticipation of what you'll find at the top... but when you get there you realize that what you find is just as great as what you dreamed of. The water is 90 degrees there's a 143 ft TV where they have hockey watch parties and everything else. Holy cow. And the pool is open very late... if the lifeguards don't get bored and decide to close early like what happened one day. CASINO: the casino is large and if you remember Vegas Vicky the large neon statue ....well its in the middle of the casino. They have air vents coming up from the floor instead of from overhead which is very unique. There are several restaurants which look very good but also look very expensive ..The mega bar is also the largest Bar West of the Mississippi. Did I mention the three-floor Sportsbook? The service I received here was superb, but the reason why it's not a five-star experience is because of the following: 1- While all other casinos have stopped charging for parking, Circa charges $25 for parking which is more than Aria or Bellagio even charged. 2- On my first day at midnight I got a random knock on the door from a housekeeping employee stating they thought the room was vacant. FYI - this is a 21 and older resort only, you will be carded every time you come in and you must have an ID to enter the pool area. Besides me being an idiot and arriving a day early.. valet was on point and they had parking for my Ram with a 6 in lift.. in the past the D refused to park it. One thing I will point out, if you have substantial luggage, drop off at the bell desk because it's a hump from valet to the front desk. Check in was very accommodating, everyone was polite and helpful.. great ventilation system. I tried the 24 hr cafe twice - not over the top but quick, reasonably priced and a pretty decent New York steak breakfast..I forget the name of their steakhouse in the basement - outstanding food, pricey, expect to pay $100 per person, but worth it, I went twice. I tried the pool, good time - no shade unless you reserve n pay for a cabana. You can eat and drink all day, again it's Vegas so don't expect to go here on a budget. The room was on point, especially the shower. It is on Fremont st, but the noise was not an issue. The only problem I had was trying to find my way around, their signs inside are a challenge. One of the hotel managers contacted me and promised to take care of me on my next visit. I emailed again when I was planning another stay, and he initially responded, saying he would take care of me. Phone doesn't work in the room, just get a normal phone? Tried to prank call my dad, would've been a great moment ruined by weird Alexa phones. TV isn't smart TV, has no apps, can't even get rocked and watch music videos? What's even the point? Can't even screen mirror to it! Huhhhh Barry's Prime was decent but basically no other food options. Security guards were really odd. They basically just stood at my door because of a late checkout? And didn't explain why but said it was mandatory. Then I go to front desk and this portly man must've been wearing a suit from when he wasn't so portly, was very condescending. Here is my 8 month long, terrible experience booking several rooms for my friends and family for my wedding. My partner and I visit Las Vegas 2-3 times a year and wanted a cheesy traditional Vegas wedding. We scouted out several resorts to put our guests up in and settled on Circa because of how much we love the vibes of Fremont as well as it being a 21+ only casino/resort. We started the booking process 8 months in advance and put a deposit down for a Suite and 18 rooms for a weekend. During the 8 months leading up to the wedding we had been ghosted by Circa sales management on 2 separate occasions only for us to have to dig deeper and realize that the 2 sales coordinators(in a row) were no longer working there. The first time we "lost" our sales coordinator we didn't hear back for over 2 months. After both times our contract as well as our reservation was lost and it was up to us to resend the original contracts as well as rooming lists. Also, if you go onto Circa's website and look at the founders suite now, you'll see the layout has a dining table, however when we had already purchased the reservation they falsely advertised a pool table in the room(kinda scummy but they "made it up" by giving us an extra fridge in the room). Also, Circa's way of making it up to us for all the sales coordinator mishaps was to waive a parking pass for one vehicle for the weekend. Thanks I guess. Once it came to the day before our wedding and our families were arriving we had planned to check in at normal time (3pm) and decorate to throw a welcoming party so our families could all meet. However, Circa didn't have our room available until 6pm. On top of that, the front desk had nothing on our reservation about waiving our parking, which in turn lead us to reach out once again to the sales coordinator who just so happened to not be at work at the start of our reservation. The front desk worker seemed almost annoyed that we would even think about inconveniencing him by asking if he could contact the sales department. Mind you we booked a suite and weren't told about the VIP check in until the 2nd day of being there. Next morning I go and chat with an in house sales representative that couldn't believe how we were treated throughout these past 8 months leading up to this. She insisted to cover breakfast for our group which I thought was nothing more than a bandaid for this catastrophe. After all was said and done we reached out and demanded to talk to the director of sales at Circa (Sasha Lee) and she said she would do whatever she can to make things right. Well jokes on us I guess because we actually believed her. She emailed us about 2 weeks after the fact and said she would gladly return 300$ of our deposit back to us, or comp a 2 night stay in a basic room. In her exact words "1. Breakfast comp for group via Jamie - $470.35 2. Parking Pass comp - $75 3. Additional mini fridge comp - $90 Total Comp- $635.35 In addition to the above comps issued, I am happy to offer a complimentary 2-night stay at Circa for a future visit to be used within 12 months. This is a $300 value. Or if you prefer, you can take the $300 value and we can refund the card we have on file in the amount of $300. This brings the total to $935.35 worth of comps and the max we can offer for these unfortunate customer service issues." Out of principle I will never give Circa another cent. I was never expecting a full or even half comp on the reservation, it's just absurd that a multi-billion dollar casino will nickel and dime a customer after such a debacle. I guess they don't care about the average person trying to enjoy a special weekend with friends and family. Fremont street was fun, I'd go to Plaza next time though. Being a Las Vegas local I have watched this hotel be built from the ground up, watched the demolition of the old Las Vegas Club and was super excited to see a new hotel be built on Fremont street, we haven't had anything new downtown in the last 4 decades, so this was going to be a treat for all of us. They announced in the late summer that progress on the hotel was moving fast and the doors would open to the casino right before Halloween. I was out of town when they opened but so excited to head there as soon as I got back, well with the hustle of everyday life I didn't make it until yesterday 12/17/2020. A friend called and asked if I wanted to go watch some Thursday night football at their sports book, of course I said Yes! I was super excited because I was finally able to go to a hotel I watched be built. Upon getting downtown we decided to park in the parking garage since this was the only hotel we were going to, upon entering we realized that parking is $4 an hour and $15 for valet, we thought strange, my friend stated when they had originally opened parking was free for locals. We didn't didn't think anything going forward. Upon exiting the elevator to the bridge into the casino you are stopped by an obnoxious security guard scanning your ID's and yelling at you to have them out because this is a 21 and over establishment. Upon walking across the bridge and entering the casino I am carded again! Very thoroughly making sure that I am obviously 21 and over... The casino is beautiful, the sports book is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, but I am highly disappointed that nothing is geared towards locals, I understand that Vegas is mostly tourist based but because of covid most of us in these casinos are Las Vegas locals, we are your clientele right now, we are what is keeping this place going besides the California's driving out every weekend and completely turning this place upside down. I really hope that in the near future they offer something to us locals like free parking. Another turn off about this place is all the bellman they have in suits acting like security watching us like hawks, I don't know if it was because of the Raider game or if it's always like this but wow I felt like I was being watched the whole time, needless to say I was so uncomfortable I left at halftime and finished at home. Quite the nice Downtown Las Vegas casino! If you're driving there, find the "Garage Mahal" (a pay-for parking structure; $4/hour, $25/day, I think) on Main Street, just north of The Plaza. I liked that it was really well lit, compared to some other casino properties. We parked and walked to the Circa and on the connector bridge, we were asked for our ID... Oh yeah! This place is adults only! No children running around, no family focused entertainment. Sweet. This place is clean, fabulous, and swanky. Nice and modern for the Fremont Street in Downtown. The table games were nice to look and play at. Seemed like all the dealers were models and if that wasn't enough, there's another one behind the dealers, go-go dancing to the upbeat pop music. There's lots of space and on this Friday night there was a ton of people (mostly properly social distancing) and yet still I felt comfortable in the walkways. While I'm standing there, I noticed these circular gutter things on the ground. It's actually the air conditioning lightly pumping cool air into the casino! I came here on this day to eat somewhere nice but the only really nice place is Barry's Prime which was completely booked until next month. The asian themed spot, 8 East, was the next option with service. Every other spot was too casual, but I still want to try it out. Victory Burger, Saginaw's Deli (24/7), and Project BBQ (the food truck outside) would be great bites for when I'm here all boozed up while I watch the football games at the sportsbook. Speaking of which, The Sportsbook. It's like nothing I've ever seen before. I would say it's the draw of the casino. Three floors of video screens, several booths for your group, and video/slots lining the railings of each floor. If you wanted to watch a game here, it should be no problem. There's nothing I didn't like and there's more I haven't seen. Didn't get a chance to check it out on this visit, but Stadium Swim is a must next time. This rooftop has a $10 cover charge but it has first come first serve seating, reserved cabanas, a live dj, and restaurants/bars. read more

When they know room 5103 has a sewage problem and they are completely unwilling to do anything about it. Our housekeeper told us it was our room and the one next to us and they all know. When you call housekeeping every 3 hours to get stuff poured down the drain so you literally can breath. Absolutely do not stay at this hotel ever. They sold me an upgrade to this room at checkin! HOW IS THAT AN UPGRADE. Disgusting. Literally just complained to the manager and they offer comp of a 1 night resort fee when they sold me the $1k upgrade into a room with a known problem. just got home from a two day staycation at Circa resort. outstanding experience from the first minut!e - the parking garage puts other properties to shame. bridge way to the hotel offered convenience and securit. speaking of security- a guard checked our IDs at hotel entrance to ensure that we were 21. ( the Circa is 21 plus only- which we thought was terrific) every member of the resorts staff was helpful and friendly- Johnny at the front desk?! Most valuable employee ever! every bartender ( especially at mega bar and Swim bar were outgoing and friendly) our waitress at Swim kept our day bed fully stocked and took very good care of us. Saginaws was so good we ate there twice in two days. our double king bed on the 36th floor overlooked the pool. we could barely hear the music- didn't bother us at all. The room felt fresh and new - well appointed and clean with a great shower. Not only would we stay here again but I am recommending Circa to everybody I know! outstanding job Circa! This hotel and casino was amazing. We only stayed here one night but I think I will be staying here from now on. In my opinion circa does a better job at something's than most hotels at the strip. When we first arrived we parked at the parking lot across the street. Parking was really easy to find. From the parking we walked across a bridge into the casino. Right away you can feel the retro vibe that this resort is trying to give off. The people were amazingly kind. One lady followed us and led us to the hotel check in because we did get lost a little. At check in we went into the VIP check in and it was absolutely amazing. It gave me Great Gatsby feel. All the way guest service people were amazing. The room was absolutely marvelous! Again a very retro themed room but very new and modern and very clean! There is so much detail in the rooms and we had a view of the pool! The bed and pillow were very comfortable. They have a mini fridge you can put drinks in but not the best fridge so don't expect to keep your drinks too cold. At the casino it's a lot less hectic than Fremont which is a nice little break from the craziness that goes down there but it has a direct access to Fremont. I love how they check IDs at the entrance so you're not pulling out your id every single time you want a drink! Amazing place! read more

Came here last weekend on November 7 and pretty busy for being the newest casino in downtown, Las Vegas. As we entered the casino through the garage there was only one security person checking ID's but no temperature checks however, masks is required. Almost felt like it was pre-covid and it was difficult to social distance with everyone just walking every where in different directions but I got through it by dodging people. Just walking around and seeing the hype of this place and 3 major highlights of this casino would be their Sports book. Sports book is huge with 2 levels. Almost felt like you were in a concert theater. Second, would be their Mega Bar which is the longest bar in Nevada with gaming and third would be Stadium Swim which I did not go and check it out but just looking at the registration check in is huge like a hotel check in. Plethora of slot machines and spaced out. A few restaurant options that I saw and one coffee shop: A burger joint called Victory Burger, a deli called Saginaws, Asian fast casual restaurant, 8 east and a steakhouse , Barry's that has its own 3rd floor inside of the casino but no view. A few gift/souvenir shops and Chris Ihle Gallery, a Lego artist that specializes in life size figures. I ask a female assistant if he worked for Lego's which he does not work for Legos but is a third party. Overall, the architecture of the building and the art deco streamlined lighting were my favorite things about the casino. read more

We received an email from Circa to attend their "High Tea." We paid $720.75 for 5 people so almost $150 per person with the "Entertainment Tax." The email stated it was: HIGH TEA IN THE SKY Calling all lads and ladies for a marvelous high tea party to welcome the spring season at Legacy Club on Saturday, April 6! As the flowers are blooming, the drinks will be flowing, featuring tea-inspired cocktails and champagne accompanied by light bites and a dessert display. Bottomless Boozy Tea & Champagne Finger Food & Desserts Live Music Tea Select & Sip Station The concept was a good one & so was the location on the 60th floor Legacy Club at the hotel with an incredible view. Unfortunately, the implementation was terrible. For starters, I have had Afternoon Tea and/or High Tea dozens of times in London at hotels & also here in Las Vegas a number of times at the Waldorf Astoria Tea Lounge which is also on a very high floor. The difference between Afternoon Tea & High Tea, from my extensive experience, is that Afternoon Tea can be a little lighter fare and High Tea usually offers an option for an additional course like a fish or protein of some type. Let's use other places in Las Vegas as a point of comparison so even if nobody bothered to do any research about High Tea & claims ignorance of knowing what the term means to the British. The invite mentioned "Lads and Ladies." A lad is a British term for a young man or guy. The picture showed a tea pot which is customary at Afternoon Tea and/or High Tea. If this event is ever to be held again, someone who is in management at Circa should actually learn what High Tea is (or in this case even Afternoon Tea) & should meet their colleagues at the Waldorf Astoria Tea Lounge or Bellagio Garden Table where afternoon tea and/or high tea are served. Both offer an introduction of scones, then a course of different finger sandwiches & then a course of French pastries. Additionally, guests select what type of tea they would like which is loose tea prepared in an individual tea pot. At Circa, it was tea bags in a bowl with no individual tea pots for a table or a person to have fresh brewed tea. A nice touch was for people to select their own color tea cups & saucers and were invited to take them home. The choice of tea inspired alcohol mixed drinks was very nice as well as it being open bar so you could have classic drinks too. At times, the line was quite long since they had 2 bartenders. It took us about 15 minutes each time we wanted another drink. Table seating was first come first served & full so if you wanted to try & eat something, you had to balance your tea cup & saucer with one hand while trying to use the other to get some of the tray passed food. It was very disappointing that it took us 1 1/2 hours for our group of 5 to get any food! When I asked Sal, the manager in charge of beverages (according to his name tag) whether we could do anything about getting some food, his first response was that it was his "7th day working" & that "a third party caterer was providing the food." I then asked how we were supposed to get any food? He said the "servers were instructed to only serve people at tables" I then asked how we would handle that catch 22 since there were not enough tables for everyone so we could not get food since we would never be at a table. He then said in an extremely condescending manner "In the time that you are talking to me, I could have been making more food." I then said you don't have to be such a bitch about it. I asked since he was in charge of beverages whether there was someone in charge of food to which he replied "no." Customer service does seem to be the best fit for him. We then were able to snag a couple of tray passed hors d'oeuvres. It was interesting to notice as the trays passed by with the wait staff holding the trays high in the air to only serve tables (so you could not ask for one) that there was only the occasional tray of a finger sandwich, mini tacos and quiche. There were no scones. When we arrived at the start of the event at 1pm, we saw a tray of cream puffs go by. After waiting at least 15 minutes for our next drink at the bar, we decided we had enough & felt taken advantage of money-wise. Even if we went to a high end Las Vegas bar and paid $25 for 2 to 3 drinks each, it would have cost us substantially less and we could have ordered food that we would actually receive insteading of paying almost $150 per person and primarily have only beverages. We then went to a restaurant so we could eat lunch. The afternoon was a train wreck. I would be happy to consult free of charge the next time they want to have such an event so it would be an afternoon to remember -- and no tacos! As a side note, the invite said "dessert display." There were no tables of any food. Having tables of food would likely save money instead of having tray carried food & would have meant more people could have some food. read more

This is classic Vegas done right, If your want the old school experience with a modern twist this is your place. To enter you have to be over 21 and they will check and scan your ID. Not a fan of scanning, but it is what it is. If your into sports betting they have an amazing sports book. They bar by the sports book is the longest one I've ever seen. This casino isn't going by be as luxurious as the Wynn or have the glitz as the cosmopolitan, but if you love sports you have found your spot. The food at the restaurant upstairs form the spots book hit the spot and had reasonable prices. I've never stayed on Fremont street, but I could see giving this place a try this summer. read more

Circa does not ever disappoint, we choose their casino over any casino on the strip and downtown. We come to Vegas pretty often and love the convenience, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, the MANY options for games (2 whole floors!!), the party atmosphere, the spacious beautiful rooms, the food (AMAZING!!) and of course our spectacular host, Rachel, who always takes great care of us, amongst the many other amazing staff here. Cannot say enough amazing things about Circa, our host, and all of our multiple stays here! CIRCA IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN!! Thank you Rachel for ALL you do, we appreciate you so much! Booked a Bunk Pad for a birthday in our group and it was AWESOME! Full views of stadium swim & the mountains on the other side. We were very lucky to get the corner, but not by mistake the front desk offered it up because had a milestone birthday in our group. She also gave us coupons for champagne at the legacy bar on the top floor which was spectacular. The drinks carefully curated and beautiful. We really had the best service at this hotel. We loved East 8 it had amazing food & drink and again more first class service. This hotel is bright, loud & full of dudes it is a sports place. We are not sporty but we certainly loved the service, room & amenities plus fantastic location. Adults only was so nice! I just wish they had a spa or shuttle to a nice spa. Went into the casino less than 20 minutes to purchase a gift card to Barry's. Most casinos have free parking under 30 minutes, and free parking for at least 3 hours for locals. Not only that, most casinos have free parking with validation, for example making a purchase, I was so surprised that I was not able to get my parking validated, and on top of that to find out that they don't even offer free parking for the people who work in the casino, they have to pay monthly for parking, so sad that this amazing restaurant (Barry's) is in a location where the casino can't even take care of their employees parking, or make locals or quick stops pay $15 for parking when I wasn't even there long. Such a shame and not a casino I want to support, would recommend going to circa for Barry's and that alone, there are other casinos near by that offer free parking with validation or even for locals, and gambling and drinks and sports betting would be better spent there. read more

We recently spent the weekend using the summer all in promotion. Upon checkin, youre provided a flyer that lists where you can use the promotion. We used this as our guide in making decisions. On our last day, we went to stadium swim and ordered drinks and food and charged back to the room. Based on the website and the flyer, we were not expecting this to be covered. Later that evening, we went to Legacy Club and spent what we thought was the credit because based on the info we had, we thought we had that to spend. Well lo and behold, the stuff at the pool was covered and our $100 bill at legacy was not. Upon checkout, we brought this to the front desk agent and the manager and while they acknowledged the flyer did not include stadium swim, we were told we "should have asked". Im sorry, what? We were also told that our "agent at check in should have told you". There was no apology and somehow it was all our fault? We are reasonable people, we understood that we were spending money, however, we would have never spent the money at the legacy club if their promotional information had been clear. The manager comped back half of the legacy charge but we still left with a sour taste in our mouth. This is one amazing place I was initially saddened when they closed up Mermaids and other places around here to build a new casino. Fast forward to today and the architecture is simply amazing. Once you walk in security greets you and you show your ID and get a temp scan. The Sports Book is huuuge!! You need to watch a game there but the game changer is Stadium Swim. This is the place to be. We were there for the Thursday Night Football party and it was spectacular!!! The various pools, the Big screen TVs. These are not your mothers 13 inch black and white TVs - lol They have a DJ and a very decent sound system. Plenty of lifeguards and security as well. Only thing missing here is a water slider -lol Again the entire casino is beautiful and the bars, shops are really nice. We checked out Vegas Vickies for a drink as well. We didn't win anything on the slots but that's gambling. Hopefully next time Since they screen the guests coming in you will not encounter any bums or seedy people begging for money like other places on Fremont. We'll be back!! read more

Just completed a 4-night stay at Circa (my second in 3 years). Here are my pros and cons, along with some advice and tips mixed in if you are thinking of staying and playing there. Pros: - Easily the best hotel on Fremont St. Clean. Polite employees. Nice rooms, fast elevators, and perhaps the best shower I've ever had in Vegas. While ID checks at the entrance and room-key checks at the elevators are a pain, they keep the dregs away. - Superb customer service for VIPs: pickup/drop off by limo at the airport, VIP check in. To attain this, establish a credit line, get a casino host, draw a marker, and give them some action. Sign up for The One card, and you'll get free play, food comps, and special offers. - Good ventilation in the casino; didn't smell of smoke at all and no overpowering scents for those sensitive to these. - Most (but not all) of the bartenders are very good, have great energy and flair, and are very friendly. Special mention to Lindsay at The Overhang bar. - Food is really good. 8East and Saginaw's Deli (a bit pricey but open 24x7) get special mention. Barry's was meh for me, but YMMV. - The Sports Book is amazing and Circa Swim must be experienced. - There's a good chance you'll meet and greet the owner, Derek Stevens. He's often around and very sociable. Cons: - While Circa Swim is a sight to behold, there is no shade (unless you get a cabana along with its pricey minimum spend). The music is absolutely horrible and thumps loudly all day long. They need to better gauge their audience and adjust their playlists accordingly. Not everyone is in their 20's and wants to dance nonstop to mix tracks. - The Legacy Club on the 60th floor is worth checking out, especially for the views at sunset, but the drinks are pricey, and a dress code is in place (but not always strictly enforced). - Be prepared to walk a bit if you need to use a restroom at the casino. - Get a room facing AWAY from Circa Swim and Fremont if you want a quieter experience, especially for that afternoon power nap. Again, the thumping music is constant until 11 pm and beyond. - The rooms have a steamer instead of an iron and board. Worked fine for me but YMMV. - Table minimums are generally higher here and VP payout % lower for quarter-bet players. The Golden Gate and The D (same player card) offer better payouts and lower minimums. That's all. Enjoy your stay. read more

Visited Circa for the first time Oct 2022. We were disappointed that they charge hotel guests for parking. We frequent Las Vegas a few times a year. We normally stay on the strip but decided to try the Fremont side as it has been renovated over the years. We arrived at Circa on Wednesday, October 5th. We found the hotel to be nice and well kept. We were eager to explore, so after check-in, we rushed our bags upstairs to our room and changed. As we settled into the room, we found a used cleaning rag that was left on the desk below the TV. As we were about to exit, there was a knock on the door, something was said about "housekeeping " and then I opened the door and scared a female employee. She apologized, as did I (we had a laugh). She said she was doing a room check and didn't realize it was already occupied. We proceeded out to visit the pool. When we returned to our room late to shower after using the pool, this is when we first realized that the shampoo and body wash dispenser in the shower was completely empty. Also, we found a used bar of soap left in the shower stall on top of the body wash/shampoo/conditioner dispenser, presumably left by the previous guest. As this item was no doubt used on their body parts, we did not touch it. The next morning of October 6th at approximately 6 a.m. we informed Elizabeth at the front desk that the shampoo & body wash dispenser was empty. We also mentioned the bar of soap left behind by the previous guest and the cleaning rag left behind by the cleaning crew. She was apologetic and typed notes into the computer and told us that it would be taken care of. We returned to our hotel room on the evening of October 6th and the used bar of soap was still there and the shampoo and body wash was still empty. The cleaning rag had been removed. We re-visited the front desk again and informed Patricia. She was understanding and apologized. Quite frankly, she couldn't believe it. She called housekeeping and asked them to rush it. We left to meet friends. When we arrived back at our room later that night, the used bar of soap had been removed and the body wash and shampoo had been refilled, although I'm pretty sure they were refilled with the same product, whereas body wash and shampoo typically look different. Overall, our stay at Circa was pleasant. It would have gone more smoothly had we been provided with basic bath essentials and had not encountered used and dirty items in our room. Two stars. One for the pool area, a second for the room decor as our room was actually really nice. Attempted to contact the hotel via webpage but received no response. read more

Be aware Circa has an SMALL casino and also has interlocked roulette digital gaming machines that will scam you out of your money. Warning: Please be sure to read the disclaimer in the hidden the help menu of user interface before starting play on these devices. Because in small print you should see a paragraph that reads "Bets are not valid-too little risk!". Which means the casino/machine will refuse to let you place bet when odds are in your favor and they are at a disadvantage. For example : I was playing an interlocked roulette machine at Circa casino and looking for patterns in the numbers to bet against them, especially the easy ones like this one. Let me explain. After seeing four black numbers in a row, I began to bet on a red number to hit. My starting bid was $3 on red and I was determined to play red until it hit and would double my bet each time ($3,$6,$12,$24,$48) until it did. After reaching $48 and failing to hit, I attempted to double my bet one last time keep in mind there has now been 9 consecutive black numbers. Okay, I place my bet and this message popped up on my screen "Bet not allowed...too little risk". I tried two more times to place my bet and got same message. The machine then removed my bet from screen, the Wheel spun and a red number hit! Long story short, the machine calculated the odds of a red number to hit at this point measured against my $100 bet and refused to let me place my bet and win my money back. This is a scam and should be outlawed by the gaming commission. Btw, I spoke with two managers at hotel about this fraud and they said because their is a disclaimer written in help menu of game which stated that they can refuse a bet that has to low of a risk...There's nothing they can do about it. I argued, yes they can, don't allow machines on their floor that steal from their customers. So, I simply want to make all of you aware of this truly unfair and frankly "scam" feature in these interlocked roulette gambling machines. Please encourage Circa and other casinos to remove these unfair machines from their casino floors and restore what little integrity there is in gambling. Or avoid these machines at all costs And the casinos that place them on their floor. read more

Our stay at Circa was delightful! We booked a non-smoking room with pool view and 2 king size beds. The hotel was clean and the staff members provided great customer service. Shout out to Johnny at the check in desk - he was amazing. He was super friendly, thoughtful and helpful. I liked that they had an Alexa in the room instead of the phone. I really enjoyed the vibe and style of the casino. I booked our stay here for the stadium swim and was not disappointed. Definitely coming back! read more

This review is really for stadium swim it was a negative experience. If you are looking to h e a good time, you can't come here. First I asked what games would be playing , they changed the football game at half time (so if your going there to watch a game expect to only see HALF of it !) . Then you expect quality screens for paying $70 to get in. The screen goes out , stays like that that whole day! Crazy the one thing you go for and it's out. Lastly, don't want to go on a hot day they have absolutely no shade anywhere. They really should invest in getting a better set up. Oh and on top of that your told not to "splash" , so don't expect to dance or have a nice time in the water. And the service there was horrible on top of all that. Where "Old Vegas meets New Vegas" it's the newest addition to Downtown LV! A 21 and over Resort and Casino. We (my Grub Gang) had to check this Casino out on the Second day of opening. This Casino is Lit! Literally Lit (Bright Lights through out the Casino). I like that it's all lighted up instead of being gloomy and dark inside. One of my Grub Gang members @DjNuMarv said "All the slots are brand new! That Mega Bar is mega!" That Sports Book is one of a kind that's for sure with all the Big screens that's so awesome! The Gift shop is cool, fully stocked with all kinds of good things. One of the cool things to mention is that they sell Herschel items-Yay! Inside details: So cool to see the "Neon Cowgirl Vegas Vickie" and the Vegas Vickie Bar and Lounge. Chris Ihle's Lego Gallery located inside the Casino. The "three-story escalator, the longest in Nevada" that takes you up to the Stadium Swim (the swimming pool) there is a $10 charge to tour the Stadium Swim. We didn't get to check it out. Assortment of Restaurants - Jack Pots (The Coffee Shop), 8 East, Saginaw's Delicatessen, Victory Burger, Barry's Downtown Prime Steakhouse & Cocktails, Project BBQ (not open yet) and much more! The Grand Mahal (parking garage) is open $4 an Hour. The walk way from the Casino to the Garage is a very clever thing to have. A+ for that! The rooms don't open up until December 28, 2021. WARNING CIRCA DID NOT HONOR MY BOOKING, which had been confirmed for nearly 6 months. I went by the front desk to drop bags around noon. 3 rooms for 11 guys. Rooms were not available but we were told that they would be in a few hours. Before dinner we returned to Circa to check into our rooms. They informed us that they had over booked and we will not have a room to stay at. This is after confirming my room that afternoon and leaving all of our bags and luggage. Circa simply disregarded my reservation to flip the room and sell it at a higher rate. read more

This review is for the casino only. The casino has nice atmosphere and is not too smoky; however we found some of the video games confusing especially video poker which we both wanted to play. We could not figure out how to ask for a card draw - though it was certainly easy to place bets! We even asked a casino worker and he did not know! Even some of the typical slot machines were not obvious in how to play just across versus across all angles. We ended up wanting to leave after only 15 minutes of play, though like most casinos, it was very difficult to figure out how to get out once you enter so we ended up walking around in circles a bit. I must admit, I'm not a big fan of Vegas and get overwhelmed from the lights, sights, and sounds. When business takes me there, I try to stick to places and restaurants and options that are off the strip. Circa Resort & Casino in downtown was interesting and surprised me. While a Vegas casino in every way, however, the resort celebrates the historic identity of the area along with its own classic Americana flare. The rooms are nicely appointed and guests are made to feel special. The only challenge is that the noise levels from Fremont Street penetrated into the hotel's highest levels and it's on a bit of an island is relation to its surroundings. What an amazing experience. I met a date there. They have an amazing garage with a great spot for Uber. When you walk in there's a huge casino. If you love sports this is the place. Downstairs is the largest sports book I've ever seen. Also, another casino floor downstairs with TVs everywhere. Stadium swim is the best pool in Vegas. read more

My son misplaced a cashout ticket while moving from machine to machine. On a long shot we asked our hostess about help. She was so friendly and accommodating and ended up getting a floor manager to assist. They took the time to go research it and found that the ticket had been turned in by staff. He walked us to the cashier and gave my son his payout! I don't think anywhere would have even bothered to help. I forgot to get the names, but THANK you to the floor manager with the wrist brace and the hostess who was the nicest ever! The casino is spotless! I have never given a five-star review before. Most business meet my expectations and get three-stars. This one is different. We stayed there last weekend and it was the best hotel stay I've had in the past fifty years. My wife and I have mobility challenges and when we arrived our room was not ready. Instead of making us wait the receptionist changed us to an upgraded room that was available. The bellman came within ten minutes and got us ice for the room. The valet brought the car to the front entrance instead of the normal spot in the parking garage, saving us the walk. The room was excellent. This is the only place I will ever stay in Las Vegas. read more
