    Enjoying the pool

This is our go to place when we stay in Vegas. Love the 21 and over age requirement. The staff are all great. The pools and pool area are awesome. The rates are reasonable for what you get. The rooms are always clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Circa on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas because of a summer promotion that included $200 food/beverage credit and complimentary daybed at Stadium Swim with no minimums. Checking in was a smooth process after a short wait. Portfolio was provided via email upon checking out. There was a small discrepancy which was resolved quickly. Our hotel room was fantastic. Large, clean, newish, good ambiance. Comfortable bed, soft towels, and good water pressure in the shower. We had to use our room key to fetch a specific elevator - which I felt was more expedient compared to the usual elevator experience. Thankfully, our room did not face Stadium Swim because the music thumping could be easily felt in the higher floors. We liked that there were a bunch of eating establishments on the property to choose from. On the main floor, we thought the sports bar and the mega bar was impressive. Table minimums were high compared to the other Fremont Street casinos. There were plenty of slot machines on both floors. We didn't play much of either but I did win $. Dealers wore nice work uniforms. And, it didn't reek of smoke. Stadium Swim is impressive for those who want to relax and watch sports. We walked through but it's not our thing. Location of Circa is great. They have a nearby pay parking garage. It's walking distance to practically every Downtown casinos. Unfortunately, the constant, loud music blaring everywhere from morning to night was headache-inducing. Having to show our ID upon every arrival was a bit annoying (but understandable for enforcing the 21 and over policy) and could be an improved experience if they were friendlier at least to their hotel guests. I'm sure checking people's ID at the door effectively deters negative elements from entering so I get it.

This casino in downtown is one of my favorites for the expansive Sports Book. It's a great area to hangout, watch a game, gamble, and/or have a bite. Every time I have been here service has been prompt and pretty friendly. It's a 21+ place that ID's at the door. Parking is expensive, so I recommend parking down the street somewhere else and walking up to this casino. Overall, a fun time in a bustling location.

Circa was cool to hang out for a bit. When we went up on the escalator we found an area with and abundance of large screens showing different sports.

I can't see enough about this place! This is by far my favorite and only place I love to stay at while I'm in Vegas. The strip or downtown nothing beats Circa! You know you've been there a lot when the bartenders know you by name they see you and remember you and say hello and give you the best service! Shout out to Scott, and my girl Lina! The best bartender in server there!

A nice addition to Fremont Street. The inside sports book is impressive and the outdoor pool party area is nice and big. The food is great. Expensive but great. I mean what food doesn't taste god when you're drinking. The DJ is ok but at some point you gotta turn it down just a little. Maybe I'm just old now.

The casino manages to achieve the rare feat of having the worst of the downtown with the worst of the strip. The slot machines are extremely tight, probably even tighter than the strip. And unlike the other casinos in the downtown, wish her laid-back and give a better chance of winning, Circa is just the opposite. Not to mention you need to be 21 just to get in the hotel, something seen in almost no other casino. And the workers were very unfriendly and abrasive. They also charge barking and resort fees. Finally, it's in the downtown which is kind of seedy. I could not recommend this place to any one in good conscience.

I only stopped by at the roof top area to watch a game! Circa is a fun and energetic spot if you're looking for a classic Vegas experience with a sports and pool vibe. It gets crowded quickly, so arriving early is key if you want a good place to sit, we managed to get lucky with our spot. The atmosphere is lively, service was solid but can be quicker, and the energy here is hard to beat. Definitely a cool place to spend an afternoon or evening in Vegas.

When downtown, I've always stayed at the "9th island" properties (The Cal and Main Street Station) or the Plaza. But I booked the Circa this time because their All-In Summer package was a good deal. Circa is DT's newest, tallest, and probably most luxe property. It's adults-only, a good thing; you must show your ID each and every time you enter through any entrance. The summer package included dining and bar credits, and a daybed at Stadium Swim without a minimum spend requirement. Supposedly I was to be contacted about the daybed reservation prior to my arrival, but this did not happen. I did reserve at the Legacy Club, the rooftop lounge, but later cancelled and just did a walk-in visit. I also made my own reservation at Barry's Downtown Prime. I arrived early and was hoping for an early check-in, even if it came with a cost. I was told there were 40 people ahead of me waiting for a room. I was told if I upgraded for an upcharge, a room would be ready sooner. A few options were given, I ultimately chose a Corner Studio; I was texted about an hour later that the room was ready. My northeast-facing room was slightly larger than a regular king. It had nice features such as a sofa, 2 arm chairs, a bench with storage underneath, an empty minifridge and large desk. The light switch by the bed had a lot of lighting options with fancy names. There were lights for housekeeping and privacy but I did not see any lights for these in the hall, just a Do Not Disturb placard. The bathroom had 2 sinks with a vanity in the middle. The large shower had a bench, wall-mounted products and excellent water pressure. Even though I was on the "quiet" side of the hotel, facing away from Stadium Swim and Fremont Street, I could still hear the thumping bass of music being played well into the night. Earplugs (not supplied) helped. The only food outlet I visited was Barry's, but there are 5 other eateries on-property. There are also multiple bars/lounges. I visited Legacy Club and Vegas Vickies. See separate reviews. Overall a pleasant and pretty luxe DT stay. I'd return if the price was right.

The sun is the healer, and hot. Stay hydrated.

When you have known someone over half your life. You go to the Circa and rodeo. And even better when they win 18k and your their lucky charm. Now that's worth remembering.

Nice to have a newer casino downtown. It wasvery clean and modern. Sports book was huge. Table games were well staffed. They had hostesses offer drinks regularly. They also have a very long coin games.

    Coffee shop in the hotel?

The coffee "shop" would be Saginaw's Deli. It has sit down dining. Open 24/7. Jack Pots is a small grab to go coffee place with a few seats/tables that has coffee and some snacks. It's also on the second floor of the casino.

We're planning on staying there this September to get married. Do you offer a limo service? If not any suggestions?

I would contact the concierge. They are very helpful snd accommodating.

    Does Vegas Vickie's take reservations?

    Not sure

Do you have to pay to use the pool if you are a guest/staying at the hotel?

No. If you are a guest it's free unless you want a cabana etc

    Menu for the club restaurant?

If you google Legacy Club menu, you will see images of the current menu. Not so sure they post it on their website.

Can family's with kids tour the hotel?

No one under 21. I will say, we enjoyed our visit there

Does it costs to book seats at the Sportsbook?

    Nope

How much is a cabana on a Saturday?

They start at $1000 & go up from there. It also depends on which weekend it is. You need to call to get details.

Do you have to be a guest at circa to use their pool? Can I pay for a chair or cabana as a non guest?

You don't have to be a guest. General admission is $20, cabanas are between 1k and 3k depending on the day.

Called right now and asked how much the overnight parking is? She told me there is a 4 hour cap and it's $25. So I asked so is the overnight parking fee $25?She said yes in your case it would $25. Does she know what she's talking about or not?

It's $4 per hour, unless you're a Maverick or Legend status and then it's free. What she meant is there's a $4 per hour charge CAPPED at $25. In other words, if you stay parked for 15 hours, it's still capped off at $25 total, and not $60.

Why do you charge 15 bucks for valet and 4 bucks an hour to self park.?

That's the BIG CONTROVERSY with the place as of now! I just left Vegas today & walked The Circa right beforehand. My suggestion would be to go park elsewhere like at The Golden Nugget then walk over to The Circa.

There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. It is quieter, cleaner, newer, and far less chaotic than the core Strip hotels. You do not get that constant overload of noise and traffic, and the entire property feels more controlled and elevated. It almost feels like it sits off the Strip even though it does not, which is a major advantage. The high end shops are a nice touch, although realistically most people are not walking in there to spend money, especially at places like Rick Owens. The food options, however, are surprisingly reasonable for a hotel of this level, with plenty of choices, and LIV is a strong draw since it is one of the top clubs in Las Vegas right now. This Fontainebleau does not feel anything like the Miami version, but if you are craving that energy you can always grab a slice at Miami Slice and call it a day. Room pricing is more approachable than expected, with nights ranging roughly from $120 to $300 depending on timing. Just keep in mind the resort fee runs about $62 per night, so a $120 room is really closer to $180 all in, which is still a very solid value for a newer luxury hotel in Las Vegas. My number one is still the Wynn, but this comes in strong at number two without question.

I can only comment on the day I spent here since I brought my daughter to a concert at night but arrived in the morning to the hotel. The venue of the hotel for the concert was great since it was not a huge arena. Staff gave out water while waiting in the line for the pit. The venue organization was well done. As any nice resort hotels in Vegas you have everything you expect about it. Eateries, coffee shops, casino and concert/venue. I will have to come back to stay so I can comment on the rooms.

The shopping options are amazing, and the restaurants offer some of the best dining experiences on the Las Vegas Strip with a wide variety of choices for every taste. My favorite spot at the resort is XS Nightclub, which always delivers a great atmosphere and unforgettable nightlife experience. I've also always admired Steve Wynn and his vision for creating world-class resorts with incredible attention to detail. One of the most underrated parts of Wynn is the art collection throughout the property. The artwork, sculptures, floral displays, and overall design make it feel more like a luxury gallery than a typical resort. Everywhere you look, there is something unique to appreciate. Between the beautiful rooms, outstanding restaurants, luxury shopping, impressive art collection, vibrant casino, and world-class entertainment, Wynn continues to be one of the best and most complete resort experiences in Las Vegas.

PROS: *stayed in a spacious 24th fl. pad with spectacular views of the (brief) fireworks display one night...and the bed was just fine for a post weed 'n booze sleep-off, thankya'verymuch! *many employees - especially those lowest in the caste system - were very friendly. Housekeepers were great. *other Wynn workers (e.g., food/booze servers) were usually good and reasonably personable. *Wing Lei (Chinese Michelin-1 joint) had top-tier service and although we could only sample a small number of dishes, they were all copacetic. *due to last-minute vacancies, the Wynn upgraded us from a $400/night room to a suite that ordinarily sets big-spenders back to the tune of $1,150/night. *Great friggin' ice machine - on my floor - never let me down when flask-time came around! CONS: *the Wynn, even at their extant "nosebleed" rack rates, will effin' nickel 'n dime ya' (*coins on steroids) every gol-durn chance they get: -NO refrigerator in the room unless you want to rent one for $25 a night. (Yep- let's make it hard for guests to bring their own, reasonably-priced booze. And leftovers from "market price" (i.e., "mark-it-up") menu pickin's at various and sundry Vegas kitchens? Meet Sal: Monella! *The pool situation is absurd and offensive: Not only can't you escape the aural pollution that pervades the whole property (more on that later)...but it's actually hard) to find an unoccupied (and unreserved) chaise lounge. -I got KICKED OFF one because it was "reserved"....NO SIGN...NO ONE "claiming it"... *Gotta pay EXTRA for even a G-D pool chair - Hell, $500. $1,000, $1,500 a night - AIN'T ENOUGH! *Booze prices are beyond absurd! Paid $15 or so for a "pour" of ordinary Tito's vodka. Needed an ELECTRON MICROSCOPE to see the likker! (But I only did it once, as my flasks of Toki and Pikesville and a Hamm's 12'er...took care of me.) *The bellhops move at a comatose pace, and when we arrived, we were informed that there'd be a "slight delay" of 45 minutes in bringing up our bags. After an HOUR had passed, we just took the G-D things ourselves. Yeah - now ain't THAT first-class service! *The concierge on duty was a dullard and a do-nothing doofus who couldn't do "jack" for us. Needs a job at the 'Boreyard by Mary Ott.' *NO smoking allowed at the OTB (Sportsbook area) Huh??? Effin' VEGAS and I can't even smoke a good cigar (or even a bad one) while play the races? S-H-I-I-T-E!!! **GOONS everywhere -had to use my key just to take the elevator to my floor, and had to withstand the glaring imprimatur of "security" people every time. (My favorite guy, who appears to have been either a "Blood" or a "Crip,"...received the moniker...'SMILEY!' -Although I wouldn't consider buying the wildly marked-up "luxury" goods peddled in the Wynn shops, I couldn't help but notice the scowling dorks in dark suits who stand outside the portals, arms folded. (No buddy - I ain't buyin' yer' lousy $50K watch; so shove it OK?) __________ Now, neighbor - are ya' ready for the veritable TOP-TWO reasons NOT to wander into the Wynn? 1) NONSTOP high-volume pop-schlock aural excrement THUMPING throughout the place. EVERYWHERE. Pay exorbitant room rates and then be subjected to lowest-common-denominator NOISE? WHO likes that garbage? ("effluencers?") -How about QUIET? -If that's not possible - how about actual MUSIC played at moderate levels? WHY must we endure moron-music and WHY were we not warned that it would be infesting the air? 2) EURO/MIDEAST TRASH guests swarming like maggots, pushing in front of you and invading your space without so much as an "EXCUSE ME!"... ...Mega-wealthy SCUM that shouldn't even be allowed in America - much less catered to by an ostensible "top class" hotel! Thank you for reading my words of timeless wisdom!

The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.
