But the one star that I was not even going to get into is because of my service animal. I know we've all heard the same song of dance when it comes to service animals. I used to be the role-your-eyes type of girl when it came to small animals also, until I got sick. At 38. it's not fun but life is made a little bit better with your service animal who's properly trained and certified. These pups go through a lot of hard work and treating to get to the point of certification for my long haired Chihuahua mix, because they don't listen. But we did it and he now listens to my heart. I carry him at chest level for that reason. I know it's a unique situation regardless, I was to the point of mortification when I walked into buy gas and that a manager immediately told me "no dogs allowed I have to leave" in front of an afternoon packed store of people before I could even say hello. I'm not a complainer trust me but this kind of attitude towards Service animals is sad. I have never been to any location that has made me feel so embarrassed and upset.
