I don't leave reviews often, but I would feel so bad if I didn't give a shout out to Alejandra and Aleef putting in WORK over there!! Listening to them treat their customers like family as I was waiting to use their sparkling clean restroom!! So much respect and appreciation. The store has been locked now for a half hour during a busy time when everyone is getting off of work! It's cold outside & I am Not Happy! I've been coming here every day for over two years and I have never dealt with something like this. There's a sign on the door that says be back in 10 minutes I've been standing out front for a half an hour who knows how long before that the doors have been locked. People are having to leave without getting gas kids are out in the cold while the employees doing God knows what God knows where! This is completely on unacceptable! read more

Circle K - Gas Stations Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Three times already that I get off the fwy and stop here for gas. I didn't have any cash and they take Apple Pay, but these three times at around six, it's been locked! There's a sign on the door that says "they'll be back in 15 min.", but I've waited more than 15min and no one shows up! This is ridiculous! They need to do something about this. terrible circle k, the owner of this one should be ashamed to say they own this place. you guys dont do sip and save and thats one thing so what, but that dont amount to how terrible this store is kept, soda machines are all flat, store is not cleanly, the whole drink station is gross. get your stuff straight before someone rats you out to the corporate and yanks your franchise. This store was awesome but now is worst, the employee at night shift are lazy, they keep the coffee machine empty, so that's the main stuff they should take care. I'm really mad about the people during night shift, please provide to them the properly trainning, some times there's a long line because they employee doesn't know how use the computer. I have been coming to this particular Circle K for almost a year since I work fairly close by and the employees are fairly nice. Today though, I went in to get an energy drink along with gas and the clerk on the clock (she mentioned her name was Pamela or Pomela) happens to be the only one that has been snarky in the past, but I have disregarded it until now. She was on the phone when I walked in and barely even looked in my direction, did not welcome me in or say anything. She wasn't talking on the phone either, just holding the receiver to her ear. When I went to check out, the pin pad kept rejecting my card with an error message, it seemingly couldn't read the chip on my card. After 2 error messages, it finally prompted me for my PIN, told me to remove my card, but then went to the beginning of the screen showing the Circle K logo. The clerk mentioned the transaction had not gone through, which was no big deal, so we repeated the entire process (along with the 2 error messages) and I opted to process the charge as Credit this time in case my debit card was causing the issue. It again did not process the transaction, so I asked if we could try the other pin pad on the other computer since it might be the pin pad causing an issue as it always failed to read my chip but the clerk said "this pin pad has been working just fine all morning". So I decided to give it one more try and after the 2 error messages again, and my PIN input, it actually processed the transaction. I was glad that the transaction had gone through, but then Pamela shoved the receipt toward me and said in that snarky, matter-of-fact way "so it wasn't MY pin pad". No "thank you", no nothing. I almost out walked away without saying much, but I did feel the need to tell her that she had awful customer service, which I'm honestly glad I did. Now I see why this location has such low reviews. It validates my feelings about it, and I definitely will not be returning. There's a smaller-scale fuel station right across the street from this one that I've neglected, so I'll be giving all my business to that one instead now. read more

I've come to this location all the time and the fifth time today they are closing up for a break. I'm all for employees getting their breaks. But they need to have at least 2 people at all time then so the shop remains open. I don't like running late to work when I need to get gas in my car. read more

The employee renu is super lazy and rude. Will make the customer wait while she texts on her phone. Is always sitting down behind the register and if you call her out she will give you attitude. She's had multiple complaints and management does nothing. The shell across the street is a lot better. read more

BEER STATION! The people that work here are super AWESOME! They just remodeled the place to make more space and its always pretty clean. They have a really decent restroom too so that always helps. They have gas too but the beer is decent. HA read more

I was at this store today 12/9/15 at 6:30PM and the clerk was extremely rude. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable and was rushing me to hurry up and get out of the line and was already calling the next person before I finish. This experience is extremely disturbing as I have never been treated this way in any other places. read more
