Wow.....had the most unprofessional, rude experience tonight at Circle K in Mira Monte/Ojai Valley. A man and woman were working the counter. The woman kept turning her back on me talking to the male employee about non work issues. Then she's yelling across the store at other customers having random conversations. The male employee participated with her and both seemed to be oblivious that I was still standing at the counter 2 feet from the both of them. To top it all off, she punches the male employee during their loud obnoxious conversation. It was all very strange, and very uncomfortable. read more

Stopped by while visiting from Toronto. I must say I was impressed. I'm not quite sure why but they didn't have the cool ranch 3D dorito chips but the regular Doritos were good still. I personally enjoyed their hot dogs on the spiny grill thingy. Just ordered them so hopefully it all goes well down there. My father suffered from chronic back pain and was lacktoast Interlerant. Luckily I do pretty well. I enjoyed their angus beef Frank's with ketchup and a bun. I enjoyed the coors light. I drank two of the six I purchased while sitting in the parking lot. The bus stop is across the street in case your car breaks down or you don't have one as well. I must say that the store looks differed from my visit last summer. They updated the wine. This is THE WORST Circle K I have EVER encountered, BAR NONE. I don't know what the employees are in there doing... especially considering I don't live that far, and KNOW from first hand experience that they're not an incredibly swamped location. I called TEN TIMES with ZERO answer, and when I went INTO the store (which I did not prefer ; I would've liked to know if carried the product I was looking for prior to making my way over there...) Well here we go, another issue with the employees, what seemed like somewhat ok new employees has turned into constantly dealing with dumb stuff everytime i go here. The new guy with green hair has a major attitude problem, it's been apparent since day one but i ignored it, now with more and more people not wearing masks due to mask mandates lifted (which was a stupid idea btw considering how fast the new variant is spreading), asking anyone to wear a mask is an issue? It's very odd. Either way, Circle K has had a long history during this global pandemic of not taking proper precautions and making sure their employees protect not only themselves but the 100s of customers they deal with everyday. As the new variant is spreading due to so many maskless people and lack of being vaccinated, a recent notice was released by the city of ojai stating that people need to wear a mask, mentioning that to Circle K, the response was "we're privately owned, fuck off". A week later, no masks in sight. It's not really hard to understand, you work in a small room that 100s of people go in and out of everyday, you handle money and other items constantly throughout the day... how can you not grasp that you need to wear a mask? lol Even the employees who were personally telling me they cared so much about not spreading Covid and made sure their employees wear masks, are now maskless due to them thinking that a vaccine will fully protect them and completely stop them from spreading it lol It's not rocket science, it's biology and everyone who attended school should have a basic understanding of biology, so why is that these employees don't understand this? I occasionally stop here for gas when I'm headed in or out of Ojai. Only occasionally because the pumps often have a line of cars waiting to use them and it's hard to make a left out of the parking lot due to the location being on a busy street. Other than that, the pumps are always all operational and the mini mart is convenient and has a large variety of stuff, well stocked. read more

Terrible customer service and the manager Michelle is not accountable at all. And of course, as it does, bad management bleeds out to the staff... Not all the cashiers are bad but there is an older lady, Pam, who is the literal representation of Karen (as well as Michelle). They both belong in movies as old bitter women who haven't gotten any for decades. And, she doesn't even know that Ojai is in Ventura county. Literally believes it's not. Lol. Anyways, I should probably feel bad for them both, working at Circle K as old women..... anyways, don't go in the middle of the night and you may get good staff. read more

Never Been OuT Of This Store In Less Than 10-15 mins!! Staff Is 50/50? Some Care And Want to Help you, Even tho they are under staffed and busy they try! That being said really under staffed to the point they will have you waiting in a 20-25 min line with the whole store full of people. And Most During Rush Hours There are Signs Up saying be back. But never when? Even if it dose say when it's always way after. Every one Here Should Just Quit And Let the Store Fall Under?!? I go here about five times a week on my way to work or once or twice on the weekends.The weekends it seems like I have a 50-50 shot of getting there and they're being a sign on the door that says will be back in 10 min doesn't matter what's time it happens to be. And after getting there at exactly 722 I finally gave up and left at 7:53. I get it people need breaks hire another employee I literally just watched probably 10 to 15 people turn around and walk away in the short time I was there because nobody was working unacceptable read more

I get my gasoline when I am in the Ojai area because it seems to be the cheapest quality 76 gasoline in the area. The gas port is spacious enough to maneuver though they only have 4 pumps. I am the Duke Bitch!! read more

Horrible service inside the store. Gas pump area is always a mess. No water or squeegee to wash your windows and the trash cans between the pumps are always over flowing. Bye Bye Circle K. I am taking my business down the street to Shell. .03 per gallon more on gas but it is clean and the store personnel are very nice. read more

If I could leave no stars I would, Ive lived in ojai for 10 years and for as long as I could remember the blonde older lady that works the graveyard shift has always been the worst at customer service. If you walk in for something she will literally finish what she's doing no matter if you're the only one or if there's a line,and make you wait for her to come cash you out. I personally have walked out 4 times and tonight will be the fifth that I have had enough of this terrible customer service. I don't care if you have the cheapest gas in the valley, I will drive to shell down the hill or anywhere but here. Blonde cashier..you're the reasons I will not give you my business. Circle K...teach your employees that the checkout line should never be left unattended. Specially if a customer can see you stocking the whole fridge while we wait for you to finish . While i like the store overall and the staff are mostly very nice and helpful there are a couple turds as well....at night the old blond broad behaves like shes a dry drunk . she can be a rude pain in the ass. The daytime features mr clean himself who is just trying so hard he comes across as being phony. He is condescending and get the feeling he would call the cops if he s you aw you jaywalking.
