The lovely tweaker cashier was so funny.. she was grinding her teeth so much that her smile had become rather crooked in her short years. Her hoarse cigarette voice boomed over the customers talking amongst each other as she called for assistance from another cashier. The life of a tweaker can lead you to many places but I have to respect the fact that she was working and contributing to society. In her tweaker way she was quite pleasant to me.. in fact she was far more friendly then the 'buds' over at Best Buy who are to busy comparing their stretched earlobes then to answer a few quick questions. I love tweaker cashier.. she makes me feel like my bottle of water is just a little bit colder then the rest. read more

Dirty. Ice machines covered in hard water and lime scale Polar pop lids stored in dusty and often broken dispensers. Fridges have MOLD on doors! Floors have stains. Flies or gnats in pastry cabinet. Gas is decently priced and take frys points. Staff is nice. Crap. No really. One long Lincoln log on the floor. I ask you, citizens of Phoenix, has anyone ever SHAT inside your Circle K? I'm not talking about the bathrooms. I'm talking about *inside* the store itself. Because they have in this one. Right by the Funyuns. Yep. Someone seriously cut a deuce in the middle of the store and then simply walked out. And someway, somehow, not a single person noticed. Until I came across it on my way to get some Gatorade after a hike and almost stepped on it. I pointed the banana slug out to the other customers and also to the lady working there. Everyone had the ultimate grimace on their face. The smell was putrid. And the clerk almost starting crying because she knew she had to clean it up. A crap in a Circle K... I should give this location a higher rating for its convenience, for having a Red Box for locals to rent movies for $0.99, for having somewhat competitive gas prices, and simply for reminding me of the city I moved from where I had to look out for human poop whenever I was outside. But I won't. Because some shit is unforgivable. One star. read more

Gas is cheap here, no doubt about it, but with that comes the old saying you get what you pay for. This location for some reason is like a sketch corner. The rest of the area is fine, not sure if there is a trashy people beacon here or what. I've been approached by drunks asking me for money, homeless people who can't talk but incessantly gesture like they are on a game show asking for cash. The last time I was inside the station they inspected the $20 bill I gave them like they worked for the federal reserve or something. I can only assume they have problems receiving counterfeit bills. What I don't see here is evening security during the weekend nights or any night for that matter. Don't stop here after sundown unless you need to. read more

CHEAPEST GAS IN CENTRAL PHOENIX! The outside area and inside the store may not be as nice as some Circle K's (309 E Osborn is the nicest in central Phoenix), but the gas prices here will beat the other area Circle K's by as much as 10 cents a gallon on regular unleaded. read more

This store is not open 24 hrs. It's closed most times I come, so I end up going elsewhere. This past Fri night it was closed for an hour, lol! From before 8pm, until 8:45pm ...on a Friday night! Apparently they can afford to be closed for an hour on a Friday night We saw so many angry customers give up and leave. My neighbors and I walked over there, and the sign said they'd be closed for 20 mins, so we waited. One neighbor said he'd already been waiting close to 20 mins, so we were okay waiting. 40 mins later the cashier opened the door, no apology. They apparently do not care about wasting anyone's time. Ill just shop at the 76, across the street, they value their customers. read more

A decent Circle K but their credit/debit card reader is almost always broken and the drink stations always seem to be out of ice. And of course there's usually the one drunk homeless guy sitting on the pavement asking for spare change. Other than that I can usually expect quick, hasty service and a dull looking expression from the cashiers. The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because it is near my residence and they always have my favorite beer in stock. read more

I have been going to this Circle K ever since I moved downtown. Only on rare occasions have I seen it higher than Costco. This gas station has the overall best price in all of central Phoenix. read more

Make sure you have the cashiers count the money order in front of you and you get your receipts and write down the exact number you need from them. I know how much money I have the cashier because I literally had just withdrawn it from the bank across the street. The cashier gave me a money order for less than I had asked him for. So I had to pay for another money order for the balance. (This is rent money btw so I don't play around with it, it needs to be precise.) I have the receipts and I'm short 22.14. At first I thought it was less so I let it go but when I counted in the car I saw it was not the 4 dollars in thought it was. Now I'm here being talked to like a crazy person by the manager who didn't want to give me the 4 from earlier and doesn't want to give me the 22.14$ now and was having an attitude because it's time for her to go home. Even tho I have receipts, money orders, and electronic bank statements with time stamps on it. I'm not a petty person over money but what I do care about is customer service and attitudes. The cashier was somewhere between peppy, who cares and unbothered and the manager lady was annoyed since I was going to let it go over four and then I had came back. Mind you based on the receipts the cashier actually overpaid me by a dollar or two. So now the resolution is that they will have to go over the cameras later and wait until they count the register to see if he's over. This is hopeful granted that the cashier does not make any further mistakes before he goes home and that they are actually kind enough people to admit their mistakes and refund me my money. Though I apologized for being a hassle/I hate to be the difficult customer no one has apologized to me this far so I suppose I won't count on it. In the scheme of things 22.14$ is not much but at the same time that's gas for the week, or dinner with friends, or almost my gym payment lol I'm looking at this objectively. We'll see. I just had to write a review because if I don't get my money back the most important can do is warn you guys about the nonchalant black guy with dreads who gets off at 9 on Tuesdays and the (possibly) Latina lady with shoulder length hair that gets off at 3 pm on Tuesdays. The circle k is as standard as all the other ones. Just make sure they count your money in front of you TWICE, repeat the total to you TWICE, and print out your receipts TWICE if you need them to. I accept my responsibilities/mistakes in this situation. It will be nice to see the employees do the same. Whew! Now that I'm done i can finally leave their parking lot. read more
