I absolutely love Ciro's Pizza! This place has been a staple in South Irving for decades, and it's easy to see why they've lasted so long. The owners are some of the kindest people you'll meet -- they truly care about their customers and it shows in every interaction. The food is made with love and it tastes like it. Their pizzas are amazing -- perfectly crispy crust, fresh toppings, and flavorful sauce that keeps me coming back. I'm a huge garlic bread fan, and theirs is straight-up addictive. The pricing is also very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes you get. It's primarily a carry-out and delivery spot, but they do have a few dine-in tables. The building is older but extremely clean. If you haven't been to Ciro's yet, you're really missing out. Do yourself a favor and order from them -- you won't be disappointed! Okay okay, the place looks a little scary in the inside but when I tell you the chicken alfredo hit on another level. It was only one lady working and she was so sweet, now remember it's just her so be patient. The only thing I have to say is the bread and salad wasn't the best but the Alfredo hit. read more

To say the pizza is New York Style is an insult. The cheese tastes horrible, as if it's not mozzarella cheese. I am from the NorthEast and you couldn't serve this pizza anywhere. The icing on the cake was these pigeons wings they served up. Lemon pepper and Buffalo were the flavors ordered. 3 looked old and overcooked. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Ciro is angry about people from the nearby plant nursery using his parking lot. Fettuccine Alfredo is good and we also tried calzone . Ambiance needs some work as there is tons of pizza boxes stacked around. Service can get better in general , probably they get lot of local delivery and take out so they might not be paying attention to the customers driving through the area. read more

Came across this place by accident but was coincidentally hungry for pizza so I decided to stop by. This your average hole in the wall pizza/Italian restaurant. What it makes this place besides its decent pizza are the people who work here. They are super friendly and willing to give you suggestions. Also if you speak Spanish you will have no problems ordering pizza. You get a huge 18" pizza for about $13 with two toppings. I went with half plain and the other half with shrooms and pepperoni. The pizza came out piping hot and really hit the spot. We also ordered a salad with house dressing which was average. The pizza was good, so that is at least 3.5 stars. The service was was nice and we had a good time talking to the people who work there. They were very attentive and helped me out with my order. The service was 4 stars. The cost was cheep for good food so I give that 4 stars. So I'm looking forward to coming back here for slice of pizza ($2.00) and maybe a Stromboli. I really wanted to like this place because of the countless good reviews. We ordered the usual Chicken Alfredo pizza we get at other Italian restaurants, but were not convinced with the overbearing cheese flavor to our pizza. It was very hard to taste the Alfredo sauce with the huge amount of cheese added to it. Finally, the crust was thinner than expected. Regardless, this place had good service with very friendly people. I will come back to try a different flavor for a change. read more

The store I work out of is less than a block away so when I needed a quick lunch on an inside day, I thought I would try this place. I drove by Ciros for years without ever thinking about trying it, Selection is broad with subs, pasta and pizza. Prices are reasonable for generous portions. Walking inside at lunchtime, there were no customers. It appears most of their business is take out or delivery. There is a tv and 8-10 tables. I walked up to the counter to order and not wanting pizza I opted for a cheese steak sub and it was pretty good, it contained tomatoes, shredded lettuce green peppers, onions and stringy gooey cheese that permeated throughout. The plentiful shredded beef was tender and extremely hot after baking in the pizza oven for 15 minutes. I retrieved a can of diet coke out of the cooler and this sandwich for about $10. There was enough bread that I couldn't get my mouth around the whole sub and it was so juicy with sauces that the bread fell apart as I tore into it with my teeth. I ended up using the fork that was included in the take out bag and ate the insides while leaving much of the soggy Italian bread. I have had better cheesesteaks however at the time, this took care of my empty spot! Overall lacked freshness but still better than some of the national chains at their best. read more

Drive by Every now and then I drive down Beltline to visit family in Grand Prairie. I noticed a small little Italian place called Ciros Pizzeria. I make a point of supporting my local mom and pop places so I decided to get a slice of pizza and some lasagna. The place is pretty unimpressive. Just an older building and the interior is about the same. They have a cafeteria style counter so you can see what they have. To be honest the food was just okay. I wish I could say more, but it was pretty standard Italian fare. read more

Worst service at this place. This guy is craaaaaaazy rude and his wife is worse. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, they bring me canadian bacon so I call back and they wont bring me a new pizza, drive all the way there and the guy still trying to keep my money saying "theres one piece gone why you try to eat pizza if you no like" I say "yeah someone bit into it and noticed it was canadian bacon and not pepperoni which is what we ordered" this dude starts yelling at me that hes not replacing my pizza because theres a piece missing, He wanted to take my uneaten pizza that I returned and sell it as slices in the resaraunt!!! So do not order pizza by the slice at this place, odds are its been to someones house already and touched by god knows who. This place is awful. read more

Decided to give Ciros a shot after reading all the reviews online. I was pleasantly blown away by the pizza. The dough is from scratch and the sauce is from scratch. I ordered an extra large pepperoni & hamburger pie and could not believe that they use real hamburger ground beef. Most other places use the imitation looking sausage stuff but this place did it right. The taste and overall quality of the pizza was outstanding, Ciros has its own flavor of pizza and there is not a chain pizza joint that can compete. If you want a really good pizza try Ciros, I know I will again. read more

We ate here on our way out of Dallas. We were hungry for pizza and this place was close so we figured we'd give it a shot! We ordered the fried cheese and a 16" pepperoni pizza. The fried cheese was ok....just frozen cheese sticks haha but the marinara sauce was good! The pizza was actually really tasty. It is definitely a hole-in-the-wall place but it's good! Another customer in there at the time had a calzone....it was enormous. So huge portions, not a bad price, and it's local. Not a bad deal! They did only have canned drinks though (everything was out in the fountain) but no problem for us. We enjoyed it for a quick lunch. The waitress and the man delivering pizza were both really friendly. I would recommend it! read more

I'm really surprised this place is still in business. They must make most of their money on pizza deliveries. I was starving and there is not much to eat in South Irving besides fast food. I stopped in and it was one older women and a young kid at the register. The older woman was watching tv and eating while I ordered and than she went in the back to cook my food. I ordered a Chicken Marsala and it came with a salad and stale bread. The portion was huge. It was like I got a whole chicken with a little bit of pasta. The sauce was horrible and the chicken was dry. I asked the kid what was the best menu item and that is what he suggested. If this was the best they got than no just no! I wont be back. I doubt the pizza's could be that much better. Too bad because this place is right down the street from me. read more

The place itself doesn't look like much. But I thought the food was wonderful! The pasta was al dente. The portions are large. The chicken was tenderized there in the restaurant. And, the prices are reasonable. Pizza is large and was great! I order out every time I have friends from out of town. Everyone has really liked their food! Friends from out of town have me pick up order for them. As I said, the place doesn't offer much. Order as deliver or carry out and you'll enjoy! read more
