    Short Rib Pappardelle
    Megan L.

Everything was great, especially Cafe Focaccia and its tomato sauce. However, the short rib pappardelle was a little salty and I am not sure my boyfriend and I like it. Other than that, we had a nice little date. We came here because I had a 10k the next morning and we tried to have a carb loaded meal and this is a great meal for that!

The food was fine, nothing special as far as Italian food goes. Maybe the pizza is better. The service was kind though and they're able to accommodate bigger groups.

We had excellent service on the busy July 3rd and July 4th holiday. We met some friends there before the fireworks how on the 3rd. Amazingly, they had great service and great food. We were staying at the Omni and they did have great food options for dinner. We ended up going back for a 2nd night in a row. The food and service were great again. We will definitely go back again.

A cute place for lunch . Went with a friend and got the calzone - they allow you to build it the way you want and I got the feta cheese , onion and mozzarella, with tomato sauce . It was excellent !! I will come back to try some nugget items

Just moved to Dallas the last two years and I cannot find a pizzaria that comes close to NJ/NY pizzas. A buddy from NJ recommended this location. Who would had thought they have a section of the restaurant to look like a typical pizzaria in NY. The first time I've tried this, the wife surprised me with a pepperoni and mushroom pizza that she picked up while out. It was good. We then eventually came to the place to try it out at the restaurant and the pizza still didn't disappoint. Service was good. Food came out fast. Ambiance is nice as it was a nice day out and there's outdoor sitting. If we live closer, this will always be my go to place. If you like NY style pizza, don't skip on this place.

Good service, nice ambiance in terms of decor and design, food was okay. Spaghetti better than the Chief of Staff's pizza but do note that we're originally from Chicago. High pizza standards. Like all area restaurants, it seemed a little overpriced for the quality but the main problem I had was we were eating on the nice outdoor patio and seated not that near a small group of loud, foul-mouthed not that young women who were too intoxicated and ill-mannered to be allowed to misbehave so long. There were children in families also near by, and yes I'm an old fashioned old man, but I still don't expect to be subjected to this sort of boorish disturbance over lunch.

Italian Cafe is our New go to place for sure, we ordered Chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti, Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich, Chicken Marsala and Ravioli fritti, every dish was beautifully placed, delicious and quality ingredients. The staff was respectful and polite. Attaching couple photos. What else does a customer want? Quality food, ambiance, taste and a good time!

Vegetarian Pizza, Salad My family is pretty carnivorous, but this is the one place we will make a huge exception. The vegetarian pizza is incredible!!!!! We get the XL and my parents can devour it in one sitting on their own. Salad was solid. Cute place in Las Colinas

Custom Build Your Own Pizza 18"

I ordered a custom 18-inch pizza with Alfredo sauce and chicken--amazing! The Hispanic gentleman wearing a SOX hat was very kind and attentive with my order. Outstanding professional customer service skills

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.

The meatballs were very succulent, bathed in a tomato gravy that you'd want to lick every drop of from the plate. For our main course, we ordered the Cacio e Pepe, Spicy Gemelli, Pesto Rigatoni, and Bolognese--all were phenomenal. I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. Now, I want to clarify my comment... because this time warp was a really great thing! The decor was true 80's. The music was also from the 70s/80s. Heck, the people working there might have been working there since the 80s too. It just had a consistent 80s feel. And it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time! My husband and I walked in 15 minutes before the restraint closed, and we were met with a smile from the greeter. No one rushed us, no one complained that we were coming in at the end of their shift. Instead, everyone treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. I enjoyed my meal and tipped the price of the meal because of the outstanding service we received. Now for the food. I had a simple grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing fancy. And yet it was delicious! My chicken was tasty, tender, and cooked perfectly. I honestly enjoyed every bite. And if everything wasn't already amazing in the restaurant (the nostalgic feel, great service, and great food) I noticed their prices were very reasonable. In a day and time when everything feels over priced, a hard working family can walk into Angelo's and afford a great meal. Thank you Angelo's for staying true to who you are - because it works.
