WOW! We were camping and decided to go into town for lunch. Kind of a spur of the moment decision since it was our first time there. They had outdoor dining in the back which was perfect since we have our dog with us. They even had a big dog bowl of water out for the fur babies. Nice touch! Our waiter was so chill and friendly. I chose the Citizen 33 Burger (add an extra patty, btw, it is SO worth it!) with a Citizen 33 side salad. My hubby chose the Open Faced Eggplant Parmesan on olive toast w/fries. Our food arrived quickly and it was hot & fresh! Everything about our selections was PERFECT! The quality, presentation, and flavor was all there. It was phenomenal! Waiter again was friendly and his timing on everything was perfect. We even ordered 4 of the Citizen 33 tumbler glasses to go. We were so impressed by our whole experience! Great location, fun, hip ambience. wait staff "ok" (notice high turnover, that may be why) slow service and confusion. great beer and cider selection. They are experimental with their menu, which I love. I' be never had a disappointing meal. especially like the fish and chips, because the fish is clean, big portions, batter isn't heavy and it's crisp and the side slaw is amazing. Id like a bigger portion! I also like the Cajun Cricket Poutine And the Chili Pepper Chicken; Spicy, fresh, yummy. I've liked all the burgers and sandwiches. Their IPA was very bad, probably the worst I ever had. I didn't like it and I wanted to order another beer and food. But the bar tender was nowhere to be found. I was hoping to order something because the food looked good but I couldn't support the bad service. read more

Had a most delicious dinner tonight at Citizen 33 Brewery. Three in our party enjoyed the special, a crumbled beef and cheese sandwich. So good! I had a steak which was cooked to perfection with delicious fresh local vegetables. The beer was very good, so good that we brought 32 oz cans home with us. Service was great, with friendly staff who helped one of our party with special dietary needs. Clean modern and comfortable decor as well. We'll be back next time we're in the area! read more

Our favorite restaurant in the Teton Valley! A perfect ending to our day hiking at Grand Teton NP. The atmosphere is amazing and the service and food are even better! There was plenty of seating inside with a few tables open outside as well. Our server was great and gave us good recommendations. My husband had the pale ale and I tried a local cider beer, both were great. Our family ordered fish and chips, big kid chicken tenders and smash burgers, all outstanding! Go Here! You will be so HAPPY you did! The food was SUPERB! I was so HAPPY to have such GREAT food, served by a attentive and friendly staff, out on the patio soaking up sunshine with my family! We ordered a bowl of yesterday's soup for my Grandma which was veggies and so filling and tasty! She also enjoyed some hot tea with honey. My Mom had the citizens salad with hanger steak and an Idaho Obsession IPA the salad looked so freaking good I wish she shared! I had the watermelon raddler with the fish and chips! Oh it was perfect and hit the spot! We also ordered the Split Decision with the smoked andouille as our starter, so glad we did, the braised greens were EXCELLENT the best I have EVER HAD! A bite of the greens, MacNCheese and sausage all together was ahhhhhmazing! We will be back again and again and we will recommend to everyone! I've had consistently good experiences here over a dozen times; not quite 5 stars, but better than 4, so I'll round out Wesley's 4 star-review with a 5-star review so now we've both given 4.5 stars ; ) The servers in the back are the nicest I've met in the valley; they make conversation, welcome solo guests, and make sure that dietary requests are followed. The cooks are also very considerate and take pride in what they do - I've seen them come out to talk to tables multiple times with enthusiasm about making something the person can eat that is also delicious. The food here is definitely better than standard bar food; standard bar food (that I love) can be found at O'Rourkes. Citizen 33 is a bit fancier, and in my opinion, doesn't belong in the typical bar food category. The place is big and can get loud but it's good for groups. If you're a solo traveler and want to socialize I recommend coming and sitting at the bar; you'll definitely make some good-quality friends. read more

After doing a short tour of the breweries in the area this is out favorite. We took home 8 32oz cans after consuming a few of the flavors. This place also has a huge sauce selection for what ever you might want to dip or spread. We took out Border/Aussie puppy along with us where she was very welcome in the outdoor seating area. We really liked this place! They have a nice selection of beers on tap that they brew themselves. The ones we tried were very good. The food was nicely prepared and delicious also. As a vegetarian, I appreciated that they had several options to choose from that are vegetarian friendly. We will definitely go back again to try additional menu items and beer. Loved this spot after a long day of hiking! Sat at the bar for the 6% gemstone saison (Good!) and fried pickles with ranch (SPECTACULAR). This ranch was seriously top notch with a generous amount of dill, and the batter on the pickles was five stars (I'm not much for fried food but their grease was definitely fresh). As someone from a city with access to plenty of great breweries (with oftentimes subpar grub options), I really appreciated the food quality. Friend got the Mac with andouille sausage and it was also supreme. Our bartender was a cool dude and I loved the servers' matching hats. Loved the whole vibe. Sometimes a diverse and ambitious menu can be a big red flag - trying to do to much and nothing great. This is definitely not the case at Citizen 33. The food, the beer, the cider, and the people who work there were amazing! I love this place and I can't wait to go back. Seriously think that I might stay in Driggs just to eat and drink at this establishment. We had appetizers: hummus (apples and olive oil and garlic) fried pickles ( breaded so lightly and freshly made) and we weren't even hungry but I had to order the vegetarian sandwich special to go! It was amazing even an hour later. My entire group of four are feasting on this pesto, garlic scape, zucchini,avacado, peas, and radishes in a sourdough ciabatta roll. I'm telling you- out of this world. Their ribeye special sounded absolutely amazing but as a vegetarian I just couldn't bring myself to try it. Haha. We stopped here on our way to Grand Targhee. Our waitress was kind and helpful, and the food and beer were great. Nice casual spot. Definitely recommend it for local food and beer! Two of our kids had burgers, one had fish and chips. I had a salad of local greens and some properly rare steak on top. Very good stuff. read more

I ate here two days in a row during my weekend in Driggs. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced, especially for the close proximity to Jackson Hole. We enjoyed our beers and took growlers home too. Everything we ate was delicious -- we tried the watermelon poké, cheese curds, pickle chips, and smash burger. Our servers were excellent, I think their names were Christina and Chelsea. Both were very attentive and kind. They offered excellent suggestions and were very pleasant. The outside patio is very nice under the trees. If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely be dining here! read more

We were in Driggs vacationing for the week and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Great kids menu (kids loved the separation of the food on the tin plates and the huckleberry lemonade). We are frequent customer of Citizen 33, and were treated very poorly. We called before hand asking if seating 15 people would be possible and we were told if we arrived by 6:30pm it would be likely. We arrived on time and put our names in and were told there was a 45 minute wait (so far so good). We waited 45 minutes (right outside the restaurant) and at that time we asked if the table was close, and the hostess told us "we can't feed you tonight." One person from our party politely went in and stated that we had been waiting for 45 minutes and they never told us that they couldn't seat us as we waited 45 minutes. The hostess then told our party member that she had called us. Our Party member showed on her phone the call was not received, and the hostess responded with "well I did." With zero apology or explanation. (Great customer service to frequent customers). Our party member asked if there was anything they could do and pointed out there were some empty tables. The hostess said "sorry they are on the wait list." At this point frustrated our party member responded "we were on the wait list for 45 and waited directly out your door." It was very clear to everyone that the hostess could have simply said "party of 15" as our LARGE party was very clearly waiting right outside. The hostess continued with apathetic responses. We are very disappointed as we used to love this restaurant, however, they will now be losing our service and money. read more
