We tried this place on a whim. It showed up on a yelp search for brunch when I decided to check out Denver to see what's there. Boy am I glad we stumbled upon Citrus! They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have a lot of great interesting options that are out of the ordinary and taste amazing! We will definitely be back and if you're reading my review, you should check them out!

We had brunch at Citrus the Diner this week. Citrus continues to be our favorite breakfast/brunch place. The menu offers an array of delicious dishes. Some of the great specials eventually wind up on their menu. The specials are created by their exceptional chefs. For this meal, Bethany had the Egg Role Omelette, a special of the day. I had a veggie bowl with grits as my base. The Egg Role Omelette is described on one of the two attached photos. Neither of us left much on our plate. I like their coffee but Bethany had a peach/ginger slush...and loved it. We also had one Mimosa. They make their orange juice fresh every day....they have a machine that squeezes fresh oranges. A Mimosa is worth trying here (orange juice +champagne). Their menu is sooo good that I have tried over 50% of their items and I have never had one that I wouldn't have again. Ever. The bowls, sandwiches, omelettes, Benedict's (oooh, that lemon hollandaise sauce is good) and their specials are always worth considering. One of the few places we go to eat where I do not know what I'm going to eat before I get there. If you haven't tried it, it's easier to get seated during the week but it's worth the wait on the weekends. And there is outdoor seating now with warmer weather. Ask for a Mimosa while you wait.

We've been to brunch at Citrus a few times and have never been disappointed. Their menu is expansive and truly offers something for everyone. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious. The beignets come with a tasty dip that's always changing - recently we had a peach-raspberry. My husband is a big fan of the count of monte cristo, and I like the lemon blueberry French toast.

I was super excited to do brunch at Citrus for Mother's Day and I'm glad we went on Saturday because I bet it will be packed tomorrow! The weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside. That was beneficial since the kids can be messy too. The food was delicious and they kept the coffee coming. I had the Inca-Mon Bowl recently, but needed to have it again. My husband loved the special omelette with prime rib, and my mom loved her bowl too. We highly recommend for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! Maybe one day we'll have room for some of those delicious looking desserts!

We came here for brunch on a Sunday. Our was busy but we were say fairly quickly. We ordered the kids meal first and that came out quickly. Our lunch/ brunch was tardy, fresh and hot! The Dirty waffles and fried chicken was flavorful and crunchy. The Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and the guacamole was a nice twist. Great service. Our server followed up a few times and do did the host/ owner. Parking available in the Plaza.

Owner is CIA trained and it shows in the menu and flavours Menu is bright , quirky, variety Alisha was our server and the avocado toast named for her. She was very helpful, informative, pleasant Ambiance very comfortable , music light and pleasant. Outside seating available. Limited hours. Check this place out. No regrets. The owner was upfront cleaning and setting the standard and part owner chef in the kitchen. Definitely coming back to have another dish

    Run to this place!

Food was great - mimosas even better with the fresh squeezed orange juice! Fluffiest biscuits you've ever seen!

Prime rib and eggs your way

We had an AMAZING breakfast on Father's Day of Prime Rib, eggs your way, home fries and not pictured a giant biscuit. It was "phenomenal " as my husband stated. Prime rib was super tender and flavorful. Put that in the full time menu!!!! As always, the service is wonderful and attentive. If you haven't been to Citrus, stop by and enjoy the regular breakfast items or go for something different. There are plenty of choices.

The selection of food here was insane, there were so many different options, including several eggs Benedict ones alone. It felt like a classic diner, but it's as good as it gets for this area. Super packed and ambiance wasn't amazing, but the food was good and it's definitely peak diner.

Get the cinnamon raisin bagel with walnut & raisin cream cheese or the french toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese -- you won't regret either one. Additionally, the service is great. They're efficient, they're helpful, and they're happy. They give you AMPLE cream cheese and I just love that aspect. If I want a new bagel + cream cheese combo, the workers there have got my back. The line was steady, the staff was hustling, and the smell of fresh bagels made the wait totally worth it. There had to be 15+ people hustling behind the counter (probably even more in the back), and despite constant flow of people coming in and what looked like nonstop online/call in orders, they had the operation running like a well-oiled machine. I ordered almost immediately, it just took a little while for the food to come out, which honestly was understandable considering how busy they were. The menu is huge with tons of bagel and cream cheese options, plus plenty of specialty sandwiches if you don't feel like building your own. I grabbed the Italiano special, a cheesesteak with the works, and two Asiago bagels for the next day (they're closed Sundays, so plan ahead!). The Asiago bagels were excellent, even the next morning they held up to perfection. The cheesesteak had great flavor with peppers and onions, though I would've loved a little more meat and a little less bread. The Italiano was also really tasty, but my order wasn't quite right. I asked for no roasted tomatoes or olives and to add onions, but it came with the tomatoes and no onions. Honestly the no olives was the most important part so not the end of the world. I fixed it at home with some onions and fresh banana peppers from the garden... again not a big deal, but worth mentioning. I'm sure if I was eating at the location they would've fixed it immediately. For around $30, I got two sandwiches, two bagels, and the sandwiches even came with chips, which was a nice surprise. Easy parking, easy to find, lots of seating (but inside and out -- a few picnic tables on the patio) and while the inside isn't anything fancy, that's not why you're here. You're here for solid bagels, great sandwiches, and a local spot that's clearly doing something right. I'd definitely come back, especially to try one of their breakfast sandwiches next time.

A few weeks ago, my wife and I gave The Foundry a try. It's located inside a 55-and-up community,…read moreso you do have to drive through a small guard check to get there, but that was no big deal. I will say, my wife and I were definitely the youngest diners in the restaurant. Overall, it was a very lovely experience, and we will 100% be back. The only slight negative was that we found the hostess to be a little unfriendly. We arrived at 4:30 without a reservation, and at that time there were only about four tables with diners. She asked us how long it was going to take us to eat because they had reservations at 6:00. I thought that was an odd question to ask, because how fast we eat really depends more on how quickly the meal is served than anything else. Other than that, everything was great. The ceilings are high, the atmosphere is airy and bright, the windows are tall, and the whole space felt clean, fresh, and modern. My wife enjoyed their sweet tea, and we started with the whipped ricotta dip, which was absolutely out of this world. My wife ordered the steak frites, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and I had the fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked. Our server told us it was her first day, but she did an excellent job and was very friendly. We will absolutely be back to try more items from the menu. And as it turned out, the hostess had nothing to worry about--we were in and out in an hour. To those about to nosh, we salute you!
