I chose polish #212 and immediately after the application of polishes, I noticed the colors were vastly different. My nails were a burnt glitter orange color, and my toenails were a hot pink color. I did not have time to have them redo my pedicure, so I asked for the hot pink polish to be removed. At check out I was charged for a pedicure that was incomplete due to the unmatched polish THEY retrieved. They demanded payment, in which I refused, and proceeded to call the POLICE. This place went down hill. Me and my husband have been going there for 5 years now. We get 2 pedicures and my nails each time. Today Rosa did manicure on me which I always choose the same one and she totally skipped the callus remover solution and wrapping the feet with them and barely file them down. We told her that and didn't want to pay for the extra $5 for callus removal. And she kept saying she did it. I could clearly feel all the calluses on my feet when i got home. What ever we paid and left. The worst experience ever. I dont know what happened to the manager was there but we aren't going back there. They are raising prices with declining in service. Terrible service. I've been several times and I will not give them another chance. Today in the middle of my pedicure, my technician was pulled to go work on someone else leaving me with a person that didn't even know how to do a leg massage. It was a waste of time and money. ALSO, my friend with me wanted the "classic" basic $30 pedicure and they tried to charge $42 for it. I came from out of town to get my nails done for a wedding. My cousin always comes here and says she gets her nails done by a man but he wasn't available so we had 2 women do our nails. The work & the quality was terrible. I showed an inspiration picture of what I wanted and the pictures are of what I got. The nails were crooked, chunky & just nothing like the picture I showed. They also did the nails so quickly, which is alarming to me. How can you do quality work in less than 45 mins? I will never return here. My wife's experience. Worst service ever! They asked me if I worked at Chick-fil-A because I wanted SNS removed from my nails. When I had an issue with an error the nail tech made (she recognized the error) and requested the manager she went and got the assistant manager (i assume that's who she was) who was aggressive and told me "I don't do nails", walked off and went and got the actual manager. The manager initially tried to insult my intelligence by proposing a situation that did not happen and tried to defend her nail tech. After I explained my grievance she eventually comped that portion of the service. I will no longer frequent this establishment and I urge patrons to reconsider spending their money here as well. read more

It seems like if you don't want anything more than the classic your treated 3rd class, she left the hot towel halfway on my leg to answer her phone...I had to take it off because it was burning.... I'll update my review when I'm done. So since I left city nails two days in my gel polish has started to chip, yeah I can't pay 64.00 for a fill and a pedicure and my nails are slanted and polish is chipping. It's obvious that they are using something to stretch the product. It's nice and clean inside but that's about it. What glitters is not always gold. I'm gonna give this place three stars! This location is busy at times. They get you seated pretty quickly but the owner Lilly always seems stressed out so not very relaxing to watch. Most of the employees are cordial but there's a few who are rude and snooty as well. I do like getting my eyebrows-waxed here, they do a good job most of the time... (depends on who you get). It's kind of luck if the draw so your experience there rests solely on who you get. Warning DO NOT COME HERE. Let me start off by saying this man is the most rudest nail technician! Came in on Monday (Valentines Day), bad idea I know....however seated promptly yet when my best friend and I were seated the nail technicians BOTH had attitudes. Ok whatever they tired. Fast forward to today, I go back to the nail bc they "say" they grantee repairs for 3 days after initial service. That is a LIE I spoke with Tung about my nails, he stated he would fix them. Ok great, when I sit down I guess he thought it was only 1 nail he messed up on but NOT a whole hand. Once he notice this, his whole attitude changed and he became so belligerent that I asked him to get the manger and he says ok I will get the manger then says oh I am the manager! Why the pettiness for a job you messed up on? The audacity of this nail salon. He even told me to "Get the hell out" at this point I was not having it. I asked him to call the cops and so did I. When the cops arrived who were GREAT we noticed they were rude to a handicap lady who they threw out. However, when her husband came; TUNG apologized. I am in disbelief that this is not already on Yelp! I have not in a long time given an establishment a perfect rating, but this salon absolutely deserves it. Let me start by saying their interior is BEAUTIFUL. They have (as you can see in their Facebook) a beautiful waterfall that is lit up behind their front counter. They have facials, massages, and of course many types of pedicures and manicures to be done for customers. Many colors to choose from on the right side wall when you enter the spa. Chairs are very comfortable and new-looking, massage feature is actually understandable and you can change pretty easily where it is and how you like it. This is nice because many spas I've visited do indeed have confusing massage chairs that make it difficult to use any function other than "auto". The ladies do a great job. There is always a conversation with laughter to be heard between customers and the employees here; even some of the sweet ladies' husbands work here! Many of the ladies do great freehand designs based off of any type of idea you give them. They will redo it immediately if you aren't pleased. Pedicures (which I normally get) are average in price. The honey deluxe package is lovely, with a sugar honey scrub and massage. It is only 23 $. I asked for a gel color to be put on my toes, which was much ore expensive of course, but gel manicures are only 24 $ I believe. I WILL be returning here, despite the drive I make from Lawrenceville! The lady who took great care of me took the time to be gentle with some ingrown toenails I always seem to have in my big toes. This has been an issue for me at other salons, as many salon care employees will be far too rough in trying to dig them out and even at one point I was left with an infection... nasty. All in all, lovely interior with a CLEAN and BRIGHT decor style. Average prices, very good pedicure prices. Lovely staff and cheerful employees. I did my own nails for a while, then took a break before going to a different establishment. I didn't have the best experience there and decided to finally give City Nails a try.
