Very deceptive company only out to fill their pockets and not pass on the warranty from the dental lab they use . Started going there a year ago. I had a partial made 7 months ago that the office lady Amber talked me into, told me my insurance company would not take care of this and so I paid out of pocket also told me how great it was going to be. A tooth on the partial looked as though it had 2 cavities, which I thought was impossible. Then it broke off. I went in and the dentist said "oh yes this is impossible to fix and it's under warranty, we'll have to make a whole new one , And he left the room. But when the office lady , came in, she said, No this is not under warranty and you will have to buy a new one out of your pocket. Again your insurance company will not pay for this . The price was three times the amount I paid for the first one, 7 mos. ago. Being a senior ,I'm on a fixed income. There's no way I could pay for that. The part that really upsets me is, I did not want to buy it in the first place and the office lady Amber told me How bitchin' the new one will be, it would never break this is flexible and you will just love it, told me I'll never have to buy another. Which was a crock of BS. They are very very deceptive and money hungry. They are not out to help you, IN my opinion, they are feeding their own pockets, and not passing on the warranty that the lab gives out. I should have known because from the very start I had a problem with Amber. She was not calling me back or telling me that she was getting information from my insurance company. which I was in contact with and they were telling me they were in contact with Amber, I ended up having to do a three-way conversation with Amber and my insurance lady, it was all very sketchy. Which I did not end up using my insurance to purchasing the partial, I did out-of-pocket. I don't know what they're up to. But the Dentist guy is great, it's the people that work there. Which is a complete disappointment. Now I can't trust anything they say or do. So I left the office quite upset. Upon leaving there, a gentleman was sitting by the door, told me they have sucked him dry and he is in the middle of the Dental work and cannot stop until it's finished. Absolutely the most unprofessional dental office I've ever dealt with. I booked my cleaning appointment a month in advance because my schedule is fixed. But Cityview Dental Care kept calling and texting me NONSTOP every single day, trying to force me to come in an hour early or an hour late. I told them clearly that I cannot change my time -- that's WHY I booked ahead. But what did they do? They went ahead and rescheduled my appointment WITHOUT my permission. Their internal management is a complete mess. I kept getting calls from different people from the same office asking me the same questions over and over, including asking for my insurance information repeatedly even though I already gave it to them. After being harassed with about 30 calls trying to switch my appointment, I finally canceled. This place is honestly shameless, chaotic, and totally disrespectful of patients' time. BELIEVE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS, the fraud in this place is running rampant here. They are attempting to charge "needed bone grafts" for wisdom tooth removal! My daughter went in there in extreme pain for a wisdom tooth coming out and she is on Medical they attempted to tell her she had to pay an extra $500 per wisdom tooth because of some bone grafting for her jaw bone.. I am so frustrated at this dental clinic and they wont even give the names of their dentist. I am now looking for a lawyer to represent me. I paid in full to correct previous implant htey did to me coouple of years ago. I agreed to do All on X and paid in full during the procedure. Now they keep cancelling me on my appointments that they set and sent me remiders over and over again. I called in from work to make myself available becuase theyre so elusive only to be cancelled last minute again. I sent a registered mail asking for all my records but they ignored me. Everyone I encountered here was very nice and professional so my review is not regarding service! My review is strictly regarding what a scam their pricing is. After coming here I KNEW I had to go get quotes from a few more dentists to figure out if I was getting ripped off or not (which I was). I went to 2 other dentists where I was quoted SIGNIFICANTLY less (for the same work) than this place. I should also mention I have dental insurance so there is no reason I should be paying extreme amounts out of pocket. While I was waiting to get seen here, I witnessed the interaction between the front desk staff and an elder gentleman. He JUST gotten a lot of work done at this dentist but I believe his insurance had expired so they were asking him to pay for all of that out of pocket which was close to 3K if I remember correctly. I don't understand why the dental office didn't tell him about his insurance sooner but this automatically left a bad taste in my mouth. Regardless, I will not be getting any work done here as I cannot afford the outrageous amount of money they are asking for ($1,550)and completely disregarding my insurance. The scammer dentist's staff is very unreasonable. They will first ask you to sign some scammer contracts. I will go for a regular dental wash, but they don't do it. They insist on a deep dental wash, and they also have to go twice. I said why can't have a check-up and a dental wash together? They said it's almost time to finish work, but it's only 4 o'clock in the afternoon because they can charge twice. I said idon't want a deep dental wash, just a regular dental wash is enough. They don't want to do it, and they still charge $35. They are scammers. Don't go to their clinic, they only want your money !and their attitude is very rude and bad! Donot go! I will call my insurance company to complain that this is a fraudulent dental clinic with a bad attitude! Today I called cityview Chino office. They were gracious enough to find me a spot on their calendar. Upon my arrival, Rebecca was instrumental to making phone calls to decipher what dental plan I had. This was an act of patience. Rebecca, listened to my cares and concerns of my experience. She was able to get me back on track for treatment, and while it was discovered, I needed additional care, found a cancellation for the same day, saved me time. I stayed to receive additional dental work with Chay, who does awesome work and is wonderful and always aware of my progress. The Dentist was articulate in explanation and kind, and patient to go over a treatment plan. Service was over and beyond a paycheck. I was overall thrilled to be back in Cityview Chino office. After filing with my insurance company and having them do an investigation, they found that I was correct and should not have been charged. The $1500 for fraudulent work that was never done. They are supposed to return the money within a month. It has been over a month, so now I'm going. The legal route. Im, taking this up with a better business bureau, everyone I can. They admitted they know they have to give me my refund back, but said that there's a backlog, and they will be working my way to get to me, which is total b. S until then I will continue to tear down her business brick by brick and let everyone know that this doctor. I am giving one star because I cant chose 0. We visited this Dental office, made a mistake by not reading the reviews. My daughter went it to get a cleaning. They gave us a treatment plan to remove her 4 wisdom teeth, a bill for 2434 that included 750 for a retainer. $300 to remove each tooth, $121 for dressing. What we were not told was that they use an oral surgeon that is out of network. We were also not told that they could give us a referral. I looked up my insurance and the cost should only have been $360 for the removal of all 4 teeth. When i called to ask for a referral i asked how come we were not informed that we could get a referral? I am told I cant speak for the person but we do let them know. I shared that we were not told, why would i pay more than $1,300 for services that are covered? She then continues to interrupt me. I allow her to speak and she tells me she did inform me during our call. I shared with her that i called my insurance and they told me i could request a referral from them. She did not inform me of one. She continually interrupted me every time i tried to speak. They say their calls are recorded hopefully they listen to the call. I cancelled my next appointments and am now looking for a new Dentist. Read the reviews and avoid this place, unless you have plenty of money to donate to them. read more

1st dentist that took care to f me was great and the follow up one were also professional and caring, I just don't know if they know what is going on on the financial end of it and how bad it makes them Warm look working for a company like that. BUT beware of the financial end of it. Be involved. If you have insurance talk to your insurance see what they pay before Any procedure are done, City view will upsell, and give you what your insurance doesn't pay for. I had procedure done, we set up a full plan of what is next. They of course what thier money which is understandable. BUT we ran into some medical issues that the dentist and my dr decided not safe to proceed. I have now going on 6-7 months trying to get them to return the money to the company they had me borrow from to pay. They received the 7500.00 but as previous mentioned services not received. Amber keeps telling me her only communication with their corporate office is via email and she has requested on numerous occasions which I cannot get any copies of this correspondence. That money is to be paid back to the company. In the meantime I am paying this company for services not rendered credit card company, sent the check directly to the Chino location. I have tried to confirm but cannot get direct answer. Will send another email, but told request has to go through 6,7,8 departments to get an approval for them to return money. If I would've received my beautiful teeth I would have no problem paying the bill. But I am stuck paying the bill. I do not have my Instant teeth, beautiful smile. I have monthly called just to get the same answer from Amber her response is I will resend the email. I have requested the check from the credit card company since she says that she does not have any way of getting a contact with their corporate office other than email, I can't understand where do they deposit the money that they get in that office? Where is it going, where do they send it who deposits it. Why I can't get a corporate phone number, I was given one but it was someone home. Was told corporate works from home. Never received any answer from that person. I really don't know what I am doing next Delta is looking into for me, so hopefully that can get answers for me. But bottom line becareful on borrowing any money from the company they go through that you don't have control off. Cityview Dental TRAUMATIZED me!!! 1. They forgot to give me a prescription for my pre-meds then blamed me because I didn't take pre-meds prior to being seen. 2. The Dentist refused to listen when I told her it hurt and I needed more numbing. I literally cried out in pain and tears ran down into my ears. She wiped my tears and finally stopped to give me more novacaine. 3. The dentist stopped to take a phone call that last lasted 20 minutes. 4. My husband and I had the EXACT same work done 100%. I was charged $400 more out of pocket than he was charged for the exact same service and we have the exact same dental coverage. 5. I've had to call or drive over there at least a dozen times because the support staff, while extremely friendly, do not listen. They interrupt a lot and respond based on what they think you need instead of allowing you to finish your sentence. This has happened with several staff so I guess that's the culture there. 6. There's a reason why they only have 3 measly stars. I should have checked yelp before going there. 7. I will be sharing my experience with anyone who will listen because I can forgive everything else except them tricking me out of $400. We brought it to their attention and they refuse to do anything about it. 8. Cityview Dental clearly does not care about customer satisfaction. I have so much more to say. This office will bill the dental credit plan for services that have not been completed yet, leaving the patient responsible for payments for said creditor without having any dental work even completed. FRAUD!!!  STAY AWAY!!!  FRAUD!! This was the first time I came here.  I regularly visit a dentist once or twice a year.  Since I've changed insurance, I chose this dentist for the first time.  BIG MISTAKE.   First, they had to reschedule me because they messed up on their schedule.  No big deal. On my visit, after a brief exam, the dentist told me I had problems.  He said I needed 3 crowns, and refill a cavity.  I was shocked!! I came in for a routine check up and cleaning.  The dentist said it would be about $6000.  But if I have insurance, it would be $4000.  Crazy.  I said no, and decided to leave.  Before I could leave, the dental assistant gave me paperwork and said I needed to sign it.  I refused.  I wasn't agreeing to anything this office wanted me to sign.  She kept insisting, and finally said at least initial it.  I did, and took off.   After I left, I scheduled an appointment with another local dentist.  My appointment was yesterday.  After the dentist's exam, he said everything looks good.  You just need a cleaning.  No crowns....no cavity work, no coercion...nothing.  Just a routine cleaning. I received a call from their office last week to move my appointment up an hour. When I arrived for my appointment, I waited at the front desk for 20 minutes before someone came to check me in. After another 20 minutes of waiting past my appointment time, I went up to the desk to ask how much longer until I would be seen since they called me to bump my appointment up, and she told me they still showed me for my original time in their system. So they ended up taking me back half an hour after my appointment time to do xrays. The doctor comes in and tells me she can see where I've had two fillings done, and I proceed to tell her I've never had a cavity therefore couldn't have fillings, and after several minutes of going back and forth with me she tells me she's not going to argue with me and she can see them on the xray. I told them I'm just going to go, and they told me they were going to go ahead and dismiss me. If I had thought of it at the time, I would've told them to reference the xrays I had done last time I was there where the doctor told me I had great teeth and no cavities. Definitely wouldn't trust them to be honest about work needed if they're willing to lie to me about the current state of my teeth. Incompetent front desk staff. Incompetent doctor. read more

I highly recommend that nobody goes here that needs more than a teeth cleaning. They tell you about this dental scholarship and that you only have to pay a fraction of the price. They ruined my mouth put a bridge in that would never stay together or work. I had to go get permanent implants.
