My experience with 5-Star Plumbing was EXCELLENT from stat to finish. My water heater started to leak at the most inopportune time when I was expecting a large gathering for a holiday dinner. Despite it being a holiday when most businesses are closed, the plumber, Eze, graciously came out to inspect the issue and stated that I would need to replace the tank. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to secure one until the following day when businesses were open. As promised, Eze came back very early the next morning with a new tank to install. He took the time to explain the installation process, answered all my questions, made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving, and even provided pointers on how to maintain optimal use of the new tank. The installation itself was done so smoothly and efficiently. I now LOVE my new water heater! It's working great, and functions more substantially than my previous one. Update 7/7 I am not going to waste my time on this company anymore, but their reply below is a clear indication of their dishonesty and lack of empathy for their customer. If they had "double-checked" the issue, wouldn't we have identified the leak and water dripping from the ceiling before the technician left?! (They did not double-check). "...offered to come back the very next afternoon"!!! We had water pouring out of our ceiling!!! I even sent them a video of the leak. Again, please stay away from this company. ----------------------------------------------------- Please do not use this company. We had a leak in our water heater line and called 5 Star Plumbing to fix the issue. They sent a technician who made little to no effort to properly diagnose the root cause of the issue. He quickly claimed to have fixed the leak but didn't even turn the water heater back on to verify if the repair was successful. We paid the technician and after he left, we discovered the water heater had been left off. Once we turned it back on, the leak was still there. Clearly, the root problem hadn't been addressed. The technician had hastily patched something that wasn't the actual source of the issue. This experience showed a clear lack of professionalism, expertise, and care. Despite the urgency of the situation, when we called to report the ongoing leak, the company said they could only send someone the next day after 2:30 p.m. Again, showed lack of sincerity from this company and a disappointing response to an emergency. I strongly advise against using this plumbing company for any services. We contacted them to address a water leak in our home, and the experience was deeply disappointing. The plumber's work was incredibly shoddy and superficial; he clearly rushed through the repair, leaving behind a mess and neglecting to even turn on the water line to verify his work. After he collected payment and departed, we discovered the leak was still present once we restored our water supply. Despite our repeated attempts to get them to return and fix the problem, or to issue a refund, they have consistently argued and refused to resolve the issue. We had to find another plumber to fix this issue and pay more than twice of what it would have costed us, had this guy fixed the problem in the first place. When I finally called 5 star Plumbing, a real person answered the phone and within ten minutes, we had scheduled an appointment for the very next morning. Oleg texted in the morning to let us know when he would be arriving. He arrived on time. He listened to our requests and checked the tub faucet before he gave an honest assessment on the scope. Mainly, he told us that to fix a tiny drip by ripping out the tile and redoing the pipes was probably overkill. He suggested changing the faucet would probably eliminate any dripping and assured us there was not damage or leaking anywhere else. I was very skeptic because so far I have been stood up by two other plumbing companies, both with impressive yelp reviews - - I'm talking over 500, 41/2 - 5 star ratings. I was stunned when the appointments I had made for these companies simply didn't show up and didn't even call me, nothing! I called 5-Star Plumbing expecting the same, but was so pleasantly surprised with a professional phone call to set up the appointment, including being given all service call charges on the phone, a time window for arrival, etc. The next day, the plumber assigned to help me, "Eze", called me to let me know he was ahead of schedule and could he come early, which I said absolutely to. Then I got a text with a ETA for his arrival, and then he showed up exactly when he said he would!! He was super nice & very communicative, and seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing and trust me, I have hired people to come out and perform work that they didn't really seem like they knew at all what they were doing, and they were brand new to the trade, which is very scary. When you know that the work they're going to do is gonna cost you a fortune. Something came up where I had to runoff immediately during the service call to go pick up my kids from school early & unexpectedly. I had to leave Eze alone in my home for about 30 minutes and he was so sweet about it and offered to wait in his car until I got back before I told him it was OK. He could just stay in the house and continue working. Normally I would never do something like that but something about Eze just made me feel comfortable doing that and I trusted that it would be OK. And it was, he just kept working while I was gone and I sincerely appreciated being able to trust someone I didn't know alone in my home like that. Called Five Star plumbing after the valve handle for my shower broke off with the cartridge stuck inside. They were very professional in explaining all scenarios including pretty expensive replacement of the whole valve should the removal of stuck cartridge turned out to be not possible.
