While the prices are very reasonable, the customer service is not. Even though they post the hours as 6am-9:30pm, they will close whenever they want, regardless of if there are still clothes in a machine. I call the owner to ask him is he was on the premises, who then proceeds to lecture me about how it's "not my personal laundromat". He instructs me to come back tomorrow when they open, which I did, no one there to help and my laundry was locked up in a back room, forcing me to come back later in the day to get it back. The owners behavior is weird, he is rude to his customers, doesn't seem to care about people's personal belongings, and creeps on the security cameras and talks through them to customers. I don't know if it's a control thing or he has some unresolved childhood trauma, but there are better places to get your laundry done. read more

It was wayyy cheaper to dry though... prob less than $2 PROS: + Owner RUSS is an unbelievably kind 74 year old dude from Maine, who showed up within 5 mins time to refund my $$ in person when my dryer machine malfunctioned. + There's a parking lot out back w/ about 8 spots which I found to be very convenient. + They have a soda machine where you can purchase a drink for a buck CONS: * The machines super old school; (they take 25c). * This place is in a borderline sketchy area bc it's not far from the trolley station. I have my go to laundry places but due to traffic I wanted something closer to home. It is a small place but it gets the job done. I haven't done laundry in 3 weeks and used to my big machines using laundry cards. This place is old school. They have change machines for quarters and their 8 load machine was $10 and drying cost be about $5. A quarter got you about 8 min. I couldn't really tell since the screens on the dryer was broken. My clothes were washed, it did a good job and when in a pinch I would come back. It's a bit rustic and takes you to the roots of traditional laundry places. Bathroom is locked, it has a sink to rinse, small counters to fold, snack machine and detergent machine. No bells or whistles. Just a old and reliable laundry mat located across USD. Pro tip is that there's parking in the rear and 2 reserved spots in front . They do offer free WiFi so that's a plus read more

This review is for the wash n fold service. It's $1.40/lb with a 10 lb minimum. My laundry was completed very quickly (same day within a couple hours) and efficiently. My only con is I wish the packaging were a bit more sustainable... it was all plastic in multiple bags. Found this place while on vacation, came inside to make sure they had a change machine prior to bringing my clothes. The owner accused us of being regular thieves here and claimed that she recognized us and we come here all the time with bad intentions, when we are literally from out of town and have never stepped foot in this building before. I only went to Blue Moon Coin Laundry to wash a couple loads. The set up of the place is strange because the washers are not lined up straight. There is only a handful of one loader washers. The big washers are huge and not very pricey. The dryers work so well with only 3-5 quarters used. If I can give 3.5 stars for the dryers, I would. Warning: there isn't any employees to be found on the premises. Also if you forget your soap and you buy the little boxes of soap on the wall, careful because they get stuck. read more

It's always a pain in the rump when your appliances break down. With our dryer out of commission, we needed to find a laundromat (are they still called that?) that was close by and clean. Blue Moon was the winner. We ended up coming here a few times over several weeks, as it took a lot longer to get our laundry situation at home taken care of. I like Blue Moon because parking is easy (I promise, it is. Even if it looks like all the parking up front is taken, there's an alley behind the building with a large lot and easy access to the facilities), the machines are newer and easy to use, and they offer free WiFi. There's always someone on hand to help out should you have questions about how to make the machines "go", or if you need any other assistance. They apparently also offer launder services if you don't mind having a complete stranger wash and fold your chonies. There's a TV on one wall (you don't get any say over what's being shown, though) and a few tables dedicated to the folding of clean clothes only. There's a computer table along the front of the building, with access to a couple of outlets, and of course the aforementioned free WiFi. All in all, not a terrible place to spend a couple of hours, when your own washer and dryer give you the finger. read more

Can you say customer service? These people are so friendly ! I usually don't use a laundry matt. I took my kitchen rug there and was met by a very kind woman who explained to me what machines I should use and why. So instead of feeling stupid staring at a machine trying to figure out how they work - I was in and out in no time. So today I had to take my down comforter and a big blanket in. I called and spoke with Russ, AGAIN he was so polite. Sadly in this day and age it still surprises me when I get such good service. Russ told me the fluff and fold open at 900 AM and to bring in my items then. I went in at 10 and was met by a nice person who took care of my stuff - took my number and said she'd call when they were done. She did a great job. I had a terrible experience here. I had a lot of laundry to wash; had to use their 6 load washer. I had so many clothes, I couldn't fit all my clothes into 1 cart. So I left a small load in the washer while I quickly transferred the clothes I could carry into the dryers; I was going to go back to get the remaining load. I returned to get the last of my load in less than 2 minutes, then I am approached by the staff and was told that the owner was giving me a warning that if I don't get my wet clothes out of the washer within 20 min, they're going to take my clothes out and ask me to leave. I will add, the staff and owners were dealing with a homeless person camping in their bathroom before they approached me. I don't know if their aggression from the homeless incident was accidentally transfered to me, but their hostility definitely was off putting. I was last there several weeks. I'd used this facility, for months, without incident. The last time I was there I was drying laundry I'd washed at home. It was after 8:30 pm and I only had a load to dry. As my load finished drying, I saw Mary look at me as I was removing my items. Russ then told me that he'd appreciate it if I didn't put "my dirty clothes" in his dryer. Apparently, if I didn't wash my items there, they were dirty. Aight. I change my mind. Went back today for another round of laundry (thought it would be the last time). I came in and there was only one other person there, so it was pretty quiet to get some work done. I loaded my clothes in the same machine I always use and went to get lunch. Came back and the machine errored out and my clothes were soggy and soapy. The owner has his number posted to call or text on the wall. I shot him a message and he was there within 5 minutes. I put my clothes in another machine and he paid for the wash. We struck up a good conversation while he troubleshot the machine. When it came time to dry, he paid for my load. Chose this location while staying nearby in Hotel Circle area. I guess some of these people haven't seen other coin laundry operations. The laundromat was clean and well lit. Change machine on site to get your quarters and a dispenser for detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets if you don't have any. There's a Starbucks nearby (estimate 1/4mile?) and the washers lock while in operation. There's free wifi, which is definitely cool when traveling. Seems like anyone rating it 1 star is expecting too much of a coin laundry. read more
