I work and Christ hospital in the ER and we order from Clancy's frequently. I absolutely love this place. Most recently I had the Shepard's pie and an order of the Irish spring rolls. Amazing! I got VERY sick from the food here. The actual owner of the place called me to tell me to go fuck myself. My delivery order took two hours. I completely understand that it snowed today and they're probably busy. The way the staff handled it was the problem. The person who answered the phone was very rude. She refused to give me information on my order and then hung up on me. The owner then called me to apologize, but ended the call by telling me to go fuck myself. I think he was drunk? One of the South Side's hidden gems. I've had a good portion of what's available on their menu. The food quality is consistent from visit to visit, and very good to great every time I've ordered! The delivery staff is always friendly, appreciative of tips, a bit long on the wait at times (most likely due to heavy business). The food certainly makes up for it. The pizza is okay but the pot roast egg rolls are so good. We like to order from here a lot but the girl that answers the phone is so freakin rude so I try to limit how often we pick this place. She's just so crabby all the time. Customer service is so important and she just sucks. She doesn't say thank you or goodbye. She takes the order and literally says "is that it" after each item. Can I have 1 large pizza "is that it" and 1 liter of pop "is that it" and 1 order of fries "is that it" and 1 pot roast egg roll "is that it". It so rude. It's like going to McDonald's. Then when you are finally done with your order she says "it will be ready in 40 minutes" click. And just hangs up. I wouldn't recommend it only because of the customer service but the food was good. read more

I ordered from this place a few times pizza was always cold not only that I guess it's OK for their delivery drivers to throw rocks at your windows. Just had dinner delivered for the family. The pot roast dinner was unbelievable. The potatoes and carrots were cooked perfectly and the Guinness gravy was a great compliment. Other family members were highly impressed with the corned beef and cabbage dinner as well as the curry chicken dinner. The place was small, but the staff was very friendly with us. She even put up with the antics of my son asking her to watch everything about his new toy. The food was good, we got the Irishman pizza, with their spicy red sauce, I called it the "Angry Irishman" that pizza hat good taste, and bite to it. A friend and I stopped in to try this place out since we were in the area and heard great things. The place is small but has adequate seating and the female bartenders and servers are easy on the eyes. My friend ordered a Italian grinder and their corned beef artichoke dip which he enjoyed. I got the South Sider pizza which was absolutely amazing. It's there version of a Italian Beef pizza but they use pot roast instead of Italian Beef. The only other pizza that can match this is Vito and Nicks Italian Beef Pizza. I know I will be back for sure. read more

This is the best place on the southside for Irish food, pizza, sandwiches, appetizers. My 95 yr. old mother LOVES the pot roast casserole. We usually have enough left over for the next day. I've tried the irish sping rolls and pot roast rolls...delicious. I've also had the Rueben sandwich (delicious); hamburger and pizzas. Great variety and all delicious. We've ordered delivery and have never had a problem; in fact, our order generally arrives early. We've also ate inside the restaurant and have never, ever had a problem with service. I have ordered the thin crust traditional sauce 3 times, and it is a very good thin crust pizza. I would put it at the top with some of the other pizza's in the area, and I think that says alot. The soup is good. I tried a sandwich and can not remember which one, but thought it was average, and will have to try again Everything else I have had has been delicious. Went here with my girlfriend and ordered some pizza, the pizza was very thin, I really didn't like the sauce, When you first walk in there is a Little area before you walk into the restaurant, that little area is cluttered and a mess, then you open the door to get in and there is two video gambling games, in that corner its even a bigger clutter then when you first walked in the first doors, just a huge mess, it's very noisy, and there is no one there to greet you, so we just grabbed a seat at the bar, we sat 10 minutes before anyone even handed us a menu, I think the owner was the man with the reddish hair, he looked at us a few times and never even approached us once, just talked to his friends at the end of the bar, they had a weird band, like 5 guys sitting on chairs in a circle playing instrumental songs, sitting in a cramped corner of this small restaurant, it is just a weird place, I wouldn't go back, not my type of place, they need to work on their PR . read more

However, every time we sit at the bar, we deal with one of the most disinterested bartenders I have encountered. We used to stop in a few times a week, but decided that it was not a fluke, but the norm for this person to act "put out" at having to wait on people, and we tip pretty well. (3 groups in the place and 5 patrons at the bar) * 12:04 - We ordered 2 pizzas and 5 soft drinks (everyone else is already eating) * While we are waiting - Timmy O'Toole the manager was talking about coupons and ignoring us. * Waitress who was also the bartender was lost and super slow * 1:04 no food and no one checked on us * 1:15 - I ask Timmy if our food is ready he says it will be any minute * 1:25 - Timmy O'Toole walks out with one of 2 pizzas (barely cooked) and says the other will be another few minutes. I hate him at this point and there is no turning back. * No apologies at all - we contemplate just walking out. * No refills - my wife walks to the bar and gets her own refills and my drink that never came * We eat and are ready for our check. Timmy is talking to the people with red bull back packs on and drinking a red bull. That should really give his performance a boost. He walks in the back and is now nowhere to be seen and the waitress now has the entire place herself. - The same bartender was also mixing drinks over the garbage. Oh yum we will take 2 of those. * No check - we wait, we wave, we wait, we send our kids up to the bar with the credit card and my 7 year old son waited so long he came back with a beard. (Now my 5 year old daughter wants a beard too). We wait and wait and wait. We have our jackets on and are standing up. I think winter is turning to spring. We will ever leave? * The waitress walks past us to tell a couple how to eat up their leftovers. I beg for our check and just give a credit card. * 15 minutes of eating raw pizza. I looked at least two years older, my son now has a beard and we are no longer dressed for the weather we were left waiting so long. The service was awful. read more

I didn't even get a chance to see how the food tastes. I live in Oak Lawn and had a groupon. We went there on a Monday early evening and had a hard time, might have been the color of my skin. At first we were told "be right with you" than told sit wherever you want. We waited for quite some time as we got the stares and were ignored. Finally we decided to leave. I did make a comment to one of the servers before I left. We did save our money and 22% tip. I was able to get a credit from groupon and I did let them know why we were unable to use the groupon. read more
