Great casual restaurant. The Irish selections are on point. Delicious soups .They even have chicken a la king , don't see that often. There are daily specials for lunch and dinner. A convenient Irish market is next door , lots of goods to be had .

awesome little family owned spot serving straight up irish fare for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. we stopped in for breakfast new years weekend and had a great time. the food was delicious, but I could've had just the Guinness bloody mary and been just as happy! We also loved our server, Karen, who was super friendly and we can't wait to come visit her for dinner next! after breakfast we stopped by Winston's Market next door and learned from Amy that both are family owned and operated, and that nearly all the staff are friends or family of the owner in some way. Glad to see a family business that is care of their employees, especially now!

Excellent lunch today at The Ashford House. Our first meal in a restaurant after 3 months because of Covid. They've set up a welcoming, clean, tented outdoor area with well spaced tables. They offer a full menu ranging from Irish specialties to sandwiches. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant. Face masks are required until you are seated.

First time here. I was surprised that it was around for so long and I didn't try it. Food and service were great!

The atmosphere was very "we're better than you," which is ambitious considering half the room looked genetically connected to famine survivors and dock workers. The confidence level in that building deserves scientific study. I walked in expecting casual dining and somehow ended up in what felt like an audition for "Medieval Lords of the Suburbs." The staff acted like they were protecting ancient bloodlines instead of refilling ranch dressing. At one point I honestly wanted to ask: "Sir, are you judging me... while wearing a polo shirt with barbecue sauce on it?" The energy was aggressively holier-than-thou for a place where the main cultural contribution is fried appetizers and vodka seltzer. To be fair, the food was fine. But the side of racial superiority was a little harassing for my ego. If you're looking for a place to drink with historic levels of racism and naturally redheaded bartenders, this is the place for you!

Actually one of the nicer restaurants around. That may not be saying a lot but it's where to go if wanting something better than the chain restaurants. Coming here the first time we weren't sure what to expect. It's actually a lot more casual than it sounded at first. This isn't some fancy ass steakhouse. A lot more of a blue collar atmosphere. The prices are kind of high on cocktails though. It's about $16 for one of the Summer Mojitos. They have a few flavors to choose and I got raspberry. A lot of the food is meaty as expected. It's about $12 for the pretzels. Basic. We got these as one of our few options. Comes with what they call chips sauce, which is made with pickles amazingly. The rest of the menu features burgers and fries and of course big ass steaks. Has some of the better food in town to be honest. It's located in kind of a hard to see location. There's a crowd especially on weekends.

I stopped by recently after passing by many times and this couldn't be further from my experience! At around 6:30pm on a weeknight, it was pretty deserted. I think some music in the background could have helped the vibe a bit. The staff gave us our choice of seating and was friendly and attentive throughout. We started with the dry rub chicken wings with buffalo sauce and the cheese curds. I was very surprised with how good both were- the chicken wings were extra crispy, not too greasy, and seasoned very well. The cheese curds were also extra crispy on the outside and delightfully melted on the inside. The marinara sauce served alongside was average, but they went super well with the creamy ranch dressing. For mains, we ordered the corned beef with cabbage and chicken pot pie. Both were really outstanding! The corned beef was slow cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce and flavorful mashed potatoes. The chicken pot pie was also hearty with a great flavor and homemade crust. Overall, this is a great spot to get some food off of the usual track. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I've eaten here with my parents visiting town, my boyfriend as a casual/celebration night, and going out with coworkers/friends. Galway can do it all! They also sometimes have live Irish music which I haven't fully experienced but have overheard as I'm leaving and seems like such a vibe. I love their Brussels sprouts, hummus, spinach dip, cheese curds, and Reuben.
