The atmosphere here was honestly quite welcoming from the start, the staff were super friendly and made us feel like we were regulars even tho it was our first visit, it's not every day you walk into a place and get such warm greetings without it feeling forced, the food came out in a good pace, not too quick and not too slow, and every dish had solid flavor, not overly seasoned but just enough to really bring out the ingredients, you could tell they cared about presentation too because each plate looked really clean and well put together, even something simple felt like it had thought put into it, the portions were fair, not too small but not oversized either, and the staff kept checking in on us without being overbearing, which was nice, you never had to wave anyone down, they just noticed when you needed something and stepped in politely, overall it was a very comfortable experience and we left full and in a good mood, definitely a place you could return to and still feel appreciated. read more

My dad is a regular here & introduced me to this place as well as one of the owners, Bruce. Right away, the ambiance is so welcoming. It is such a great place for families. We were seated outdoors where they also had games (beer pong, corn hole & connect four). The kids loved it! Lots of space for them to roam. Great place! We went as a group of 4 before a concert on 8/1/25. The restaurant was busy, as to be expected before a concert. Everyone was working their butts off to keep service going. Came with a group of friends on a Saturday evening. While we did reserve a table, the place was mostly empty and the manager even indicated that we can take any table we want. Not a good sign for a Saturday evening. Maybe they rely on event days at Levi's as they're located nearby. We tasted most of their shareable dishes and sides. Food is decent with the exception of the Hummus which was very bland and can be skipped. The service is why I removed two stars. Even though the place was mostly empty, the waiters did every effort to avoid eye contact with our attempts to call them. They made repeated errors with our orders and forgot to bring plates and forks for the food. Last note, even if the place is empty, you should not ignore reservations as customers might indicate special events there and you can improve customer experience if you're aware and acknowledge the event (we celebrated a birthday). read more

Clara's Junction is a new restaurant opening where Carl's Jr used to be near Levi Stadium. We had the BBQ ribs, BBQ tri-tip sandwich, honey -glazed wings, and Esquites and burnt ends. Everything was delicious, especially the wings and ribs! We look forward to going again and trying some other menu items. The outdoor spaces are done creatively. There's a Taco truck and a Bbq pit you can order from. Lots of outdoor seating and fire pits. Games to play. Beautifully done. Inside decor is also very nice. Jodie, our server, was attentive. I can't believe they just opened 4 days ago! The food was great! We ordered BBQ plate, Chrissy cauliflowers and broccoli, big pretzel and soya chicken wings - enough for the two of us and everything tasted delicious! Too bad we didn't get to try their eggplant Parmesan and burnt ends because it's game day. The location is also convenient - right by the light rail, Mill Lick. Definitely will come back! We finally checked out this place after hearing about it from a friend that had a birthday party there. The vibe is cool, good choice of beer and the food was good. We did play jenga a few times while we waited and the GM or manager was nice and told us to seat wherever we wanted. The only two issues I had, was our server wasn't a server but more like a "food order taker". He was nice but did not have the personality of a server that would greet the customers, asked how we're doing, but just asked if we were ready after dropping off our waters. So, we ordered an app and two beers. After, he came back, took our food order and left. When our food was delivered, we noticed that my son's order had the condiments that he asked not to be included in his tri tip sandwich. He wanted it "plan and dry", nothing in between the meat and sandwich. When the food runner dropped off our order, my son just removed it, didn't want to bother having them redo, but the server never came by to ask how everything was going. Our food was good and the blue cheese on the tri tip was delicious. The pretzel app was piping hot and tasty. It was a sizable app for 4 people. 2nd issue, unfortunately, while my daughter was playing Jenga which was one table over, a few blocks rolled to our table and knocked over my pint of beer which I just ordered and only had a few sips. Our server did wipe up the beer with towels but never asked if I wanted a new beer or asked if any of it landed in my ramekin of fries, which it did so I couldn't finish. It is hard to review places that are fairly new because there will be hiccups. I would have liked our server to be more attentive versus taking just our food orders and offering a replacement beer for the one that spilled. It would have been nice as a courtesy. Would we come back? Maybe, but not like, "Hey, let's go to Clara's tonight!" It could be a place to hang out for those living near the new apartments being built in that area or the crowds before a game or concert. But we will probably stick to the neighborhood Taplands or Pruneyard for the same ambience and more available parking. Wish this place good luck. read more

FOOD QUALITY For price, substandard!! If it wasn't for the sauce smeared all over the meat our ribs would have been pretty much tasteless. The broccoli appetizer was a mess. AMBIANCE Building is surrounded by a rod iron fence. Inside floors are cement and nothing decorative to have you feel some sort of warmth. Only plus is outside fire pits and a drinking area. (woo-hoo) PRICE We dropped $100.67 for a VERY disappointing dining experience. SUMMARY This place is a money grab. We were expecting better . I recommend St John's Bar & Grill down the street on Lawrence expressway . I have never written a review before but this place really bugged me and No I have no connections with owner or employees at St. Johns. We dine out often and this place is a sham! Epic! Great atmosphere lots of space. Great music. The food was so delicious. There were 3 of us so we were able to try several things on the menu.! The cocktails were excellent. The staff was amazing very personable, very attentive. Fire pits & lots of heat lamps which was so nice bc often times restaurants don't have enough ever. Our server was awesome. Gave us exceptional service. Very friendly & nice & totally took care of us. We had a wonderful time. Super dog friendly. Heard about this place through word of mouth. We tried the wings, bbq tri-tip sandwich, and The Whole Nine Yards burger. Wings were very juicy, flavorful, and tender (for a light eater, could have been a meal). Burger was very well seasoned, balanced flavors, and juicy. Trip-tip sandwich had generous slices of smoky tender meat (small suggestion, tone down blue cheese dressing just a bit to let the bbq shine). Fries (comes with tri-tip sandwich and burger) were crispy and not greasy. Can tell quality ingredients used throughout. Thank you for a nice evening out. I was here on Nov. 30th with an unplanned visit. Had went to the theater to watch a movie and it ended up being 3 hours until we can see the movie with two seats together that wasn't in the front row. I looked up restaurants in the area and saw Clara's Junction pop up and I remembered a short news article on it with its grand opening. Anyways, the food was tasty and the service was warm and welcoming. I had the CJ Smash and my son had The Whole 9 Yards. I ordered my favorite classic drink ... sidecar (not on the menu) as a bday treat for myself. My son ordered the Golden Hour Margarita and he was pleasantly surprised with the flavors. The toasted brioche on the burgers was executed perfectly. The fries had the perfect texture with a slight crisp on the outside with a warm, soft, tasty inside. Our sides and starters were also on point, with taste, we had the Croquetas (yum) and Esquites (sauce could have been a more creamy consistency). We left feeling good and ready for the movie. We will be back and hope to have many more enjoyable experiences. read more
