Great local spot. Interesting menu. Lots of choices. Classic steakhouse design. Office park location kind of unusual. Outdoor seating in a weird spot but indoor great. Excellent waiter. Very professional. Prime rim outstanding. Loved the "small" dessert option. Perfect for a sweet taste at the end of a meal without being huge.

Came again and Birk's provided delicious food with excellent service again! First of all, services by Dennis is awesome. He always provide top-notch service and is the best waiter with all the restaurants we've been to. He remembers what your preference is and I don't have to say a word to remind him at all. It's like he could read my mind. From appetizers to our entrees to dessert, everything is excellent. Both the prime rib and filet mignon are cooked perfectly (we ordered medium rare). The seasoning for the fried calamari is tasty. The cheesecake is light and satisfying. It was very busy when we came. It got a little noisy and that's understandable. Depends on the day you come, may want to make reservation ahead of time.

I came to Birks for a business dinner and this place is nice. I did feel underdressed since most were business casual and formal wear. I had a somewhat larger group and our server was very accommodating; service was very good. I ordered a 10oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Well made. The ambiance was good, but a bit too loud which is unavoidable.

The restaurant is really nice, and everything was delicious. I loved the blackened ribeye cooked medium rare, it was perfectly seasoned, juicy, tender, and full of flavor .The service was great, and I will definitely come back again.

There were 3 of us. We shared a 32 oz Tomahawks steak, we substituted fries for mashed and mushrooms for asparagus. Cooked a perfect MR and came with 3 diver scallops. Cooked to perfection. Jesus our server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was a classic steakhouse, a little bright for my preference but a lovely evening.

My friend was in town and this is one of her favorite restaurants. I have never been here before, she said they are known for their prime rib. Service was decent, attentive when needed, but they pretty much left us a lone except for when it was time to fill our waters. The atmosphere was nice, your typical steak house feel. The food was fairly decent though nothing really stood out about it. The cut and flavor was good, but again nothing stood out. I will consider coming back because there were other things on the menu that seemed worth trying

The food was not bad but the steak was slightly overcooked and the lobster was perfect on an order of steak and lobster. Also ordered a clam chowder that never came. There is plenty of parking and this restaurant is easy to find, but it's kind of tucked away in the middle of a random business park. I don't think I'll be back especially given the price.

My review for this location is a bit unusual. I went here for a celebration dinner my boyfriend took me to after I sold my company. It was convenient for us and a "nice spot," and we had both heard good things about it. Ambiance: Absolutely amazing. The Christmas decor was some of the best I've ever seen--truly magical. I'd 10/10 come back just for that--beautiful, special, and perfect for a celebratory occasion. Food: Mixed feelings here. I had the hamachi, which was well-flavored, but the quality of the fish didn't quite live up to the flavors. The soup was enjoyable, though small in portion, and the steak was mediocre. The wet salad was nothing special (but, honestly, what more can you expect from a wet salad?). Overall, the food was okay, but not memorable or worth the high price point--the bill was around $200 for just the two of us with no drinks. Service: A little glitchy. Our server wasn't always clear, and we weren't sure who was taking care of us at times. Water refills were slow, which became frustrating. Overall experience: While the food wasn't standout, the experience felt very occasion-worthy. The location works well for a special night out or hosting guests, but I probably wouldn't go back just for the food. The liquor selection is impressive, so if you enjoy drinks, you might really appreciate that aspect. In short: amazing ambiance (especially the Christmas decor!), okay food, spotty service, and a pricey menu. Great for a celebration, but not somewhere I'd go again

The manager Robert was amazing... He is so nice and very caring.. We've never met a manager quite like him so cares for his customers... Ambiance was very comfortable, cozy and gorgeous... Food was so delish and so fulfilling.. They serve the food was very fast... Bathroom was absolutely clean and also offer pads and tampons in the woman bathroom.. Overall, we had a very great experience.. This is now our go to places when we're in town.. Thank you Robert, you're completely the BEST!!

Tucked away in the business district of Sant Clara, Birks has been here for years but still seves up great steaks and the best cocktails. The service is top notch. We will be coming back.

STEAMED SHELLFISH & FRIED CALAMARI

This restaurant impresses me every time! The service is impeccable because they are always attentive and friendly. I usually always frequent the bar area where there is always open seating. Providing a welcoming ambiance that is relaxing, warm and charming. The menu is exactly what you want if you're looking to entertain your elevated palate. I had a favorite steakhouse before, but this place blows other restaurants out of the water. Starting with the oysters, fried calamari and steamed shellfish, was nothing but a delight. The margarita was top notch to pair. Then moved to the bone in ribeye, each bite was a treasure. I can't even put it into words how good it was. Paired with prisoner wine. Ending with the cheesecake and a coffee, was just the cherry on top! This place is one you don't want to miss if you're looking to indulge in some good food and great service! Highly recommend

Dessert that comes with Thanksgiving meal ( we have lunch there )

We came today for Thanksgiving Lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Have their set prime rib meal for 4 people. The prime ribs is excellent, cook to just the way we want it . Very flavorful. Side dish are vegetables and creamy meshed potatoes. End with crème brûlée and coffee , a glass of coffee . Service is good and we enjoy dinning in here . They have a wide selection of wines too .

I saw the word upscale. Is there a dress code?

Hi Andy, We do not have a dress code, but guests dress business casual.

Can we bring our own wine and if so, what is the cork fee?

I walked in and stood waiting to be seated while an employee, who appeared to be the owner or manager, continued talking with her kids instead of acknowledging customers. I don't mind waiting, but a simple "We'll be right with you" would have made all the difference. I decided to give them another chance. On a later visit, I spent a few hours working there and ordered drinks. When a friend joined me, he sat down and was completely ignored. No one came over to greet him or ask if he'd like anything. We eventually had to flag someone down just so he could place an order. After that, our server mentioned that Tuesdays were buy one, get one free on wine. I ordered my second glass, but it never arrived. When I asked another server about it, I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them. The irony is that I would have happily paid full price--I wasn't the one asking for a deal. They were the ones who brought up the promotion, then acted bothered when I politely asked about the wine that was never delivered. The final straw was our most recent visit. We were seated at a table by the staff, only to be told a few minutes later that we had to move because the tables were supposedly reserved for the party sitting behind us. We moved without making an issue of it, but no one ever ended up using those tables for the entire time we were there. It was frustrating to be relocated after being seated, especially when the explanation didn't match what actually happened. At this point, it's hard to view these experiences as isolated incidents. The common theme has been inattentive service and an attitude that makes customers feel like they're an inconvenience rather than guests. There are too many great wine bars that genuinely appreciate their customers for me to spend any more time or money here.

It ended well though: a couple killer semi-local IPAs (West Coast Offense, Cellarmaker, San Fran, and Cosmic Crocs, Humble Sea, Santa Cruz) and a slice of Whole Foods pepperoni and sausage pizza. All in an open and chill space. The beer's good, the tab's still open, and I think I'll be taking an Uber home. And if I get hungry again, there's a Whole Foods on the other side of the wall!

(note: you can apparently order pizza, but only a whole pizza, at the bar) They also had been doing slightly better with bar staffing, with the bar being open more often than not, though still sometimes closing early and often 'temporarily closed' while the bartender went on break or on lunch. I guess the idea of having coverage is unknown to management here. BUT, now the bar has been closed for several days because "no one's been available to come in". I don't understand how management here is so incompetent with staffing. Bottom line: this place is good for beer (but not food) and terrible about being open. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they end up closing this taproom down like they did to several other Wholefoods taprooms. Sad really.

I can't express how much I adore this place…read more I wanted to try their seasonal drinks this time around. My partner and I tried their Imperial Stout, Spaten Oktoberfest & their special Pumpkin Pie Spritz. The imperial stout: I wasn't a big fan but my partner loved it. The Spaten Oktoberfest, it was honestly very tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. Their special, Pumpkin Pie Spritz, was DELICIOUS. If I could taste a true Pumpkin pie in a drink, that was it. It has so much flavor. It made an excellent dessert after dinner. I also decided to try their Burrata Crostini for the first time and it was very good. The flavors all blended very well together, from the creamy cheese, to the tomato, to their balsamic glaze. It was an excellent choice & I strongly recommend it. The people who work here have always been so kind and attentive when it came to service. I love their outdoor area as it's in the heart of Campbell, the interior design is also very modern & sophisticated. I've never had a bad experience here so far. It has been my fourth experience here and not once have I been disappointed. If you're looking for a great choice in wine/ spritz with excellent customer service, don't look further. This place is it.
