My whole life I have never had a good dentist experience. Needles always hurts, drilling always hurts, nothing was ever fun about going to the dentist. Because of that I avoided the dentist like the flu for over 8 years and I paid the price for it. I believe through fate I stumbled upon this office which gave me a whole new perspective on going to the dentist. Dr. Bui is an artist and his experience shows. He will always go above and beyond to make sure you get the best work done and make sure you are comfortable. During my two month period of coming to this office through multiple visits, I have had 2 extractions (broken and beyond repair tooths), 1 root canal, fillings for new cavities, and some replaced old metallic fillings with ceramic. Not once did I have a bad experience and I see myself coming back here as long as I'm still in SoCal. All the assistants and receptionist are kind, friendly, and supportive. So I asked my pops and he straight up recommended Clarity Dentistry. Honest? Yes. Gentle? Yes. Friendly and Cheap? Yes and depends on your insurance my pops answered. So off I went and I got to find out first hand how amazing this doctor is. After my initial preliminary visit/cleaning, I made another for a filling and 3 cavities, stupid Vid. O and the gold grills too. As with most people, having a loud drill in your mouth induces hand gripping chair fear, but Dr. Vu Bui was so good, he noticed right away and stopped to make sure I was okay. After feeling, or not feeling anything because of the numbing shots, I instantly relaxed and let him have his way with my mouth. He felt me up, dressed it up, and filled it in with such ease he had me wanting more! He was also extremely efficient, while one was curing, he worked on another one. Then afterwards he blew my mind because when I closed my mouth, all the teeth lined up perfectly! Albeit there was a tiny slight adjustment to one side but after that it was like I never even had any work done. WOw, I've never had a dentist this precise, gentle, and quick. I was in an out within 30 minutes! Other places I would be passed out in the chair because they would take so long. Brought my adult sister to see Dr Bui because her dentures from another dentist had broken, and this was close to where she lives and had great reviews. Though he tried, Dr Bui determined her dentures were not repairable, which was my thought before we came. He was very informative on her options, and we went with his recommendation on the type of new dentures. She has two implants for dentures to attach to. She now has new dentures, and a better smile than in years. His prices were very reasonable. His staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Like many chickens I am deathly afraid of the dentist. However God answered my prayer when I met Dr.Vu at Clarity Dentistry. He is the only dentist that can put a grotesquely huge needle into my gums without me fainting, throwing up, or crying. I just got my teeth cleaning in here. Staff was friendly and prompt. Was in and out 30 minutes. Facility is clean and they always give you a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss combo after your cleaning. I am a new patient and have come in for both a dental cleaning and also a cavity fill. I will say that I absolutely LOVE this facility. The dental assistant working at the front desk is extremely warm and welcoming. She's very patient, kind, and helpful; and willing to answer questions without being condescending unlike what I dealt with at my precious dental office. The dentist himself was extremely caring and thorough. What I liked is that he explains the procedures thoroughly before anything and you can really tell he cares about his patients well-being and health. That exactly what I look for in when a selecting a primary dentistry. His business accepts all kinds of insurance including denti-cal which is great for my wallet, as a student myself. The facility is relatively new and very nice and clean. It's organized and not chaotic like my previous dental office I went to. I really enjoyed my experience itself.
