I went in to actually test drive a used Subaru I had seen online. I ended up working with Justin Smith and getting a 2019, slightly used Nissan Rogue. If you are in the market for a vehicle, I recommend working with Justin. He is not pushy, and makes you feel comfortable. After doing a couple days more research I ended up buying from Green Nissan, they had the best price. They even rivaled Spokane dealerships. Just a note, the Rogue is great, has some get up and go and has more room inside than the Subaru, and for a better price. How can you go wrong?? read more

Purchased a used 2022 car here for $34k. The check tire pressure light was on and I asked them to fix it before I bought the car. I got home with a flat tire. Took the car back the next day and *they charged me to fix the tire.* I would expect any dealership to sell a $34k car with 4 good tires. (Plus I could have gone to leschawb for free) They also sold me several warranty coverages with the car. All of the warranties are with third parties. However these warranties were all falsely embellished. Turns out, oil changes are not covered even though they were highlighted in the $3,900 "full maintenance" package I purchased. If the dealership was willing to work with me on any of these issues I would not be writing this review. They were pretty uptight in their customer service to remedy any of these issues. read more

If we could give zero stars, we would. Our experience with Clark Nissan has been disappointing, and terribly upsetting and just aweful. Esp when it comes to the service dept. Customer service is not good and at times we question competency with valid examples. Our Nissan truck was purchased brand new, is only several yrs old, and has fewer than 50,000 miles on it. Yet it has required so many trips to the service dept that we've lost count, w/nearly every visit lasting at least a week. Most recent repair has now stretched beyond 3 weeks . That is completely unacceptable for a vehicle of this age and mileage. Communication and follow-through have required constant effort on our part. We are not just experiencing delays; we are repeatedly forced to escalate to management because when we contact the service dept, they seem unconcerned. We are repeatedly dismissed w/an attitude of complacency and given unreasonable excuses-just to get basic answers or action on repairs that should be straightforward. Another major issue is transportation. They no longer provide loaner vehicles+only offer a shuttle ride home; that doesn't solve the problem when your vehicle is unavailable for wks at a time due to delays on their end. My husband has repeatedly been left without a vehicle for extended periods of time b/c of this. Warranty coverage - we were initially told a repair was not covered and would cost several thousand dollars to fix! My husband had to contact Nissan directly to get the issue resolved b/c the dealership did not advocate or do the necessary legwork - we still don't have our vehicle back after over 3 wks. My husband had to track down a manager himself after weeks of delay just to get an update and potential movement on getting the truck back. The most serious concern involved the brakes. After our service contract expired, my husband performed brake work and discovered the driver-side brake hose had two large bulges that appeared ready to rupture. We immediately had it towed to the dealership because it was not safe to drive. They were also informed at drop-off what was wrong and that the vehicle is used for heavy towing. They replaced a brake caliper and one brake hose, which required bleeding the brake system+ then sent us home telling us the problem was resolved. Thank God my husband looked under the truck when we got home. (unfortunately we couldn't trust their word). Still we really could not believe the damaged brake hose w/visible bulges was left in place! despite being present during the repair. They let us drive home in it. We felt so disillusioned that the truck was returned to us in that condition. This created a serious safety risk. A brake line in that condition could have failed while towing a heavy load, with potentially catastrophic consequences. After we contacted them, they sent someone to retrieve it and ultimately replaced the damaged hose. This should never have happened in the first place. Because this is the only Nissan dealership in the valley, customers with warranty work have very limited options. Unfortunately, that makes these repeated issues even more difficult to manage. In the beginning, when the truck first started having issues for no clear reason given its age and mileage, there was at least one service advisor who was somewhat helpful. After that person left the dealership, the service experience changed for the worse and has been consistently poor since. This service dept has become an ongoing operational failure marked by long delays, poor communication, disputes over coverage, and repeated situations where we have had to fight for basic resolution. What if a young person or elderly experienced these things and didn't know how to advocate for themselves? They would be out a lot of money or potentially injured due to pure laziness. Based on our experience over multiple visits, we cannot recommend Clark Nissan at all; in fact we suggest you go somewhere else to buy a vehicle. read more

Bradlee, my sales consultant introduced me to Sales managers, Robert and Jim who assured me the Rogue I wanted would be marked sold for a reasonable time until I made a decision. A cashiers check would start, Business Manager Nicki, on the paper work. I appreciate that their sound business practices saves money for all customers.!! Bradlee took me for a test drive. I have had the unfortunate experience of witnessing the service department's feigned, insincere communication and lack of transparency with its customers. I was party to pay a bill for a prolonged, mismanaged service for a Nissan rogue. Our service representative, Kenny, was either too disinterested or too incompetent, perhaps both, to explain all the charges we accrued over a ten-day-long repair of the vehicle. Ten days in which we sincerely needed reliable transportation. He mistakenly assured us that we were offered a vehicle to drive free of charge in the meantime, which we told him was not the case. After respectfully explaining this detail to him, he continued to try to convince us that it was in fact the case, but that we declined the offer. He also told us of a discount he personally gave us, which he was unwilling to explain to us in detail on the bill. The outright lies and insults to our intelligence, exaggerated by the fact that he hardly made eye contact with us, have led us to believe that there is a serious lack of integrity within this organization. We seriously feel we have been taken advantage of. We trust specialized laborers to fix problems that lie beyond our capabilities in the hope that they are fair in the process. Unfortunately, our last experience with Clark Nissan has lost our trust in their service team and led us to believe that their company is more concerned with making money than acting in the best interests of its customers. Clark Nissan, I cannot rate you low enough. It has been going on 3 months now and I am still waiting for the warranty cancellation to go through to my lender. Last month, June, I went in to pick up my warranty check that your customer service representative said they had. I waited 2 hours, and got nowhere with the team at Clark Nissan. I then finally was able to speak with someone who told me that I could leave and run errands and come back that they would have my check ready around 3pm that day. So I left and ran my errands and came back at 3pm they nontheless just ignored me and made me feel very uncomfortable. They then proceeded to tell me that since money is owed on this vehicle that the check would be mailed off to the vendor, which I was completely ok with. But a month later, we are in July, and I am still not seeing the credit on my report through my lendor. And my lendor has told me several times they have not received any check from Clark Nissan. They could not have been nicer and no pressure! We were driving cars to figure out what we wanted to purchase. They were both knowledgeable. We ultimately decided on another car but I wanted to buy a Hyundai because these two were excellent! Nice new dealership, friendly hard working people. I only gave them a one star because there is nothing lower. I finally got my Armada back after 21 days, NOT FIXED. I was charged $570.36 for this. The bill says they installed Tailgate Handle, NOT TRUE, the tailgate has a gaping empty hole where the handle is supposed to be. They did give me a box with my old handle and the new one (painted, $175.00 ). They charged $145.00for diagnosis, (I told them what was wrong when I left it with them), It wasn't the handle but one of the micro switches that was sticking which I told them about. So much for their diagnosis. When I left it with them, I could open my tailgate by hitting just below the Latch Handle (jarring the micro switch causing it to function). Inconvenient but it worked. Now there is no way to operate my tailgate. Not once during the 21 days was I called to discuss the problem and their inability to deal with it. I called twice and each time I was given a different story and told they would check with Nissan and call me back. NEVER HAPPENED, no one ever called. To say I am UNHAPPY would be a gross understatement. I finally told them that after 21 days with no progress that I would go in and get my Armada. Which I did (for$579.36) read more

I want warn folks about Clark Nissan of Kalispell based on two recent encounters that makes me question their ethics and/or competence as a service center. My ex-wife tried to trade in her F-150 and their master mechanic told her the engine was bad and failed compression test. They offered her well below blue book so I purchased the truck from my ex-wife instead took it to Complete Automotive and it turned out to only be an ignition coil that cost $150 to fix. Then without consulting me my daughter purchased a used Chevy Captive from them with their bogus warranty and a few months later claimed her high pressure power steering hose was leaking. The warranty didn't cover it and they wanted to charge her $566 to fix it with 4.5 hours labor! I immediately took the car to Complete Automative and it turned out there was no leak. It appears when Clark Nissan did the oil change managed to get a bunch motor oil all over the place which dripped onto the power steering hose below. There was no leak and they charged me only $30 to diagnose this. Whereas Clark Nissan charged my daughter well over $150 to tell us there was a problem that didn't exist. So be for warned about taking your car to this place. read more

I took my Nissan to this dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. They did the oil change but not my tire rotation and I was charged for the rotate and I know they didn't do the rotate because I marked my tires and they're still in the same place and they didn't wash my car because I have a dirt spot on my car from yesterday that is still there. We are on month 2 still awaiting for our trade in to be paid off meanwhile we are paying for both our trade in and our new vehicle to spare our credit as they drag their feet doing their part in the deal. For the first 30 days we were avoided with zero communication. No call backs. Finance "manager" was dismissive, rude and unhelpful. Upon reaching higher management we were told it was done, twice, to get us off their back however our bank confirms they have zero transactions from them. Our sales guy said they are a year behind on paperwork "upstairs" from previous management (yet another unprofessional approach) however my last two business transactions before this ownership were not an issue. Bad enough the customer service is poor, the lies and juggling their numbers scheme is quite obvious to anyone with any know how. We now sit with them in possession of our near new trade in we are still paying for to spare any late payments on our credit, our cash we handed them in the transaction to pay it off as naturally we took a hit there as well and are still without a payoff of our trade going on 2 months later while they avoid us day after day. To top it off there was zero follow up for add ons we purchased for our new vehicle as well. It would appear legal counsel is needed to get an answer or action from this operation. As life long locals, we typically would recommend numerous friends, family and clients of ours, we can safely say, DO NOT do business here. I went to this dealer wanting to buy or lease a new car. Their biggest concern was to run my credit report before they could give me a purchase price. I don't ever run it until I'm actually ready to make a purchase, so we came to a stand still. I asked how much payments would be on a lease with a specific amount down, they did give an answer, but wouldn't let me know what the residual would be without running my credit. The incompetence shown by multiple employees and lack of customer service was appalling! It ultimately took until December of 2014 to have the lease agreement and payment status corrected between Green Nissan and Nissan Corporate. Green Nissan actually cashed my payment check, that Green Nissan themselves told me to make out to them because I still didn't have a way to pay my bill at the END OF OCTOBER, and then didn't pay my payment until I called it to their attention! My name is Lorraine and I was in the middle of a divorce, a single mother and I am a full time student college student. I went in last week to Green Nissan in Evergreen Montana to buy a car. When I went in to Green Nissan I told them my price range and was adamant about staying within my price rage and within my payments. The car sales men was a very nice guy and had not been in the industry for long. The manager on the other hand kept making me think that I was getting an amazing deal on cars and kept asking me to look at different vehicles. cars that were above my price range and out of my payment range. I test drove 4 cars all together that day to make sure that I was making a good ejected decision, especially for the situation that I was in. The car that I had picked out was within my price range, at least that what I had thought. The payments were higher then expected but at the time I was ok with that. When I had first gotten into this particular car to drive their was a green tag in the window that said $22k. The MSRP tag on the side of the car said the price was $26k. This is the first time that I have been to a dealership and actually had to deal with car salesman's and the staff. The manager told me that I should lease the car because Nissan is awesome and that their leases are different then any other dealership. Said that I would be saving around $3k to $4k dollars. Said that I would get a full factory warranty, I wouldn't ever have to worry about anything. When I was signing the papers to lease my car, the finance manager kept going around the questions that I had for her. She had seemed that I was taking up her time and felt like I was inconveniencing her. She was in a very big hurry to answer or even go around all the questions that I had for her and for the contract that I was signing. The biggest question that I kept asking her through out the paper work was why it kept saying $29k. Again, she would go around the question and avoid to answer it. She then asked me if I wanted what they called a bronze package. The package would come with window crack repair, a seal paint on the car to help with scratches, every single oil change for was free, etc. It ended up to be $40 extra a month. I told her that I didn't want the bronze package because the car payments every month were already a little over my budget. The woman asked me in a very rude way "why not?" I felt as if she was offended that I wouldn't buy what she was selling. Of course at that point she proceeded and told me why I should get it. I felt that the manager and the finance manager were very deceitful and taking advantage of a women in my situation. I ended up buying the package. At this point my payments ended up to be way over my budget and the car was sold to me at $29k when I thought I was getting a car for $22k. No one explained the green tag deal to me, no one explained how the lease exactly worked, especially when I asked multiple times to multiple people and no one other then the car salesman was professional in any way. No woman in my situation or in any situation should have to feel the way I did with Green Nissan and their sales team. I am very hurt and very disappointed with their service, especially when it says on their main website page that they meet the needs of each individual with paramount concern. That they share their knowledge and enthusiasm with their customers. Never again will I go through the Nissan Corporation because of Green Nissan in Evergreen Montana. This letter will be sent to the editor of the Kalispell Montana Newspaper called the Daily Interlake, Yelp, Google and will be sent to Green Nissan the the Corporation of Nissan as well. read more

First let me say this is a out of state purchase for me as I live in Seattle Washington. My first interaction with them was fantastic through the sales process and we came to a fair understanding on the price and trade in value for my car. The salesman also agreed to deliver it to me in Spokane Washington, that's where things go wrong. Since I hadn't seen the Jeep Rubicon I was concerned about any issues and asked specifically about that. I was told, "There is nothing wrong with the vehicle and I will love it". When I first saw it, I was concerned about the paint chips and several little things that I didn't like but we had both driven many miles and so I went forward with the deal. Since I've had it home is has cost me $500 to replace the windows that were scratched from the felt being completely gone, $1600 for a front differential rebuild and replacement of axle seals because water has gotten into the front differential (there was clear signs of leakage), and all the paint chips and body work will be another $2000. Buying the vehicle is on me, them selling something at top market price that had obvious issues is on them. If I had looked at this on the lot as I had done with so many others, I would not have purchased this vehicle from them. read more

I drive a lifted NV, so needless to say, she doesn't fit in a car wash, and I couldn't wash it myself with a hose because it was zero degrees out. Today was also my grandfathers funeral, and at the last minute we decided to use our van to haul the pallbearers and my elderly grandma. I really wanted the van clean for this important event. Not knowing what else to do, I stopped into the dealership and explained my dilemma. They said " no problem, we will wash it for you." A little while later, the serviceman came to me and said "they're just finishing cleaning the inside, and we will have it right out to you". I was shocked, I only asked for a quick exterior wash. They went above and beyond to clean the inside as well! When I asked how much my bill would be, he graciously responded " there's no charge for this. We are sorry for your loss and we just wanted to help your family". I burst into tears right there in the dealership. THIS was such a blessing to me. They sure didn't have to go out of their way, but they chose to, and I so appreciate them. Great to see caring people are still in this valley! read more

I was sold a wrecked vehicle which didn't show up on when we ran a VIN check in MT...Turns out the vehicle was brought in from Idaho so the VIN check in MT was clear. Purchased a 2016 Fiat @ 300 a month. When I took it back because of a poor transmission, the associate told me not to say anything and put me in a 2012 truck with bad brake system @ 750 a month. Obviously I asked if everything was checked thoroughly in this vehicle and was assured it was. Failed to inform me about the brakes @ 3000 miles. Thank god a tech informed me @ 6000 miles about the brakes as well as his measurement findings which made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to have done in 6000 miles. Then told me it also needed a brake flush and then refused to do the brake flush. Then one of their associates offered me drugs. Nice to know they couldn't care less about my 3yr old son and his safety let alone mine. They do not care about you. These people will put your family in danger. I went to this dealership to test drive a new car. The salesman was good and during the drive I explicitly told him I don't like "high pressure sales" --EVER. He understood. All was fine until the general manager got involved and basically blew the sale with ridiculous "What can I do to sell you this car today." It continued to a point of badgering. He would not allow me to take the numbers presented to me--the ONLY dealership of four I have visited that did that. What was he hiding???? If I could give the general manager a zero, I would. He needs to rethink his tactics in the new world of transparency in car dealing. Maybe he thought because I was an older female, I could be more easily manipulated??? I purchased 4 tires from Green Nissan for my Chevy Equinox in October 2012. There were tires with 60,000 mile treads. The back rear passenger EXPLODED while I was driving back to Kalispell from Missoula the other day. The sides of the tire was gone and what was attached to the rim was in shreds. I took the tire to Green Nissan as the tire only had 18,000 on it...with the assumption that they would pro-rate the wear. It was a nightmare! The serviceman insisted I struck something metal sticking out into the road; failing to realize that if that were the case my FRONT time would have been struck and not the back. They wanted to charge full tire price. Naturally I took my business elsewhere. I don't recommend purchasing tires from them! read more

In mid-June of 2015 I took off from work to drop my boat off to be summarized. I had reviewed the condition of the boat BEFORE taking it for summarization. I am extremely through and wanted to make sure I could convey to the service person what work I wanted completed on my boat. In mid-July of 2015 I was notified that the requested work was completed and I again took off of work to pick it up. I paid for the service on the spot and was told my boat was out behind the building and that I could drive out there and someone would assist me with getting it hitched to my vehicle. After a 15 minute wait, and no assistance came, I hooked up my boat all by myself and drove home. The summer of 2015 was extremely smokey and those of us with compromised breathing were told to take care and stay indoors as much as possible. Finally on 11-25-2015 a beautiful day; not much airborne contaminates and it was mild temperatures. Yeah! I am going to take the boat to the lake. I snapped off the cover and went to make sure the battery would fire the boat engine. What did I discover? The boat had not been summarized. The water plugs for the engine were still in the compartment on the boat dash, the clamp to hold the water hose to the engine was still in bottom of the engine compartment- just where it fell when the boat was last winterized. The fuel filter was still covered with the debris and the coagulated drive line fluid was still in the bottom of the reservoir, again all things I saw when I did my pre-service-inspection and had requested to be service and to which I had paid for. No going to the lake for me. On the first work day after my discovery I contacted the boat service manager. I was told that he could not do anything about it unless I take my boat to them. I said "no", that I had taken off work twice already to get and retrieve my boat and I lost wages to do so. It was their turn to go get a visual on the uncompleted work and go to my residence. I was told that they had no idea where I lived. I stated that my address is on the RO (repair order) and that the RO I had in my hand at that very moment showed that information. He said he did not have that information on his paperwork. REALLY! How the heck did they send me fliers in the mail at my residential address and still not have my address. LIE DUDE! Then I was told he could not get away. Certainly if this was an important Customer Service issue- this would have been important. I called back to the business and requested to speak to the owner- nope out of the State of Montana but in Arizona. OK! I requested to talk to the owner's 2nd in command- nope! not answering the phone - what no voice mail? I guess they are not up on high tech- no to voice mail? I tell the lady whom answered the phone that I would like to speak to someone who may assist me with the issue of my boat not getting summarized, something that I had paid for. I eventually get a call from Oscar Mayer (yup! You read that right! e/a no diff to me). I tell him the same facts and he states that when the weather is better, he would go look at my boat. I said the sooner the better and he could take an umbrella and not get wet. He told me he did not know where my house was. I again explain that my address is on the RO and I give him the address too. He still does not know where that is. Again- customer service does not reside at this business. OMG! This town is not that big and my address is so easy to find. I give him 3 major land marks- nope he does not know where those places are. Truly he lives here and has no clue where the community college, Kidsport or the huge white concrete Church is on the hill north of downtown. (All of you who visit Kalispell from out-of-town know those landmarks.) I did get a call from Oscar again who states that the oil in the boat is new and that someone has winterized my boat for me. WHAT? OMG -there is a boat winterization fairy! And on the flip side - why is there not a boat summarization fairy? Well I know there is NOT one that is working at this company. Oscar thinks I am going to believe his tall tales and he would not accept the fact that I did not believe him and I had to use extreme language; language that is in the form that he would know and that is out of character for me- because he certainly was not listening. He was condescending, he did not go to on my property-the gates had not been opened and the boat cover was not lifted or removed from how I had placed them the evening prior. Dudes Pony up- there was an error on your part-in the boat not getting summarized. Instead you try to cover up the mistake with more mistakes and lies. I had the radiator replaced on our 2007 Nissan Pathfinder there in October. When they let us know that the vehicle was done we foolishly paid for it over the phone because we weren't going to be able to drive up to Kalispell to get it until Saturday when the service department is closed. When we looked at it Saturday they had replaced the radiator but not the 10-year old rubber grommets that keep the radiator from shaking when you're going down the road. I could easily shake the radiator with my pinky finger. I would not accept it and left the vehicle there. I talked to the general manager Derek he said that they would order those rubber grommets and put them in. They had our vehicle for weeks, so long they gave us a loaner vehicle and they never actually fixed our vehicle properly. Both Tod and Derek said they had ordered those rubber grommets and installed them. We went to pick up the vehicle and it was exactly the same as it was the first time they said it was done. The rubber grommets were still the same and had not been replaced and I was just so fed up with dealing with them that I no longer wanted anyone there touching our vehicle. Todd in the service department and Derek the general manager lied to both me and my wife saying that they had replaced those grommets. When I said I could still shake the radiator using just my pinky finger Todd told us that that was normal and you could do that on new vehicles. Which is just absolutely ridiculous.
