Wow! What an amazing dinning experience! Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday. It's been a while since I've been wowed by a restaurant or dinning experience but CLASS Soirée did it for me. We made reservations for 7:30pm on Saturday and upon arrival we were promptly seated. Do note this is not your typical restaurant or steakhouse. Think of it as having a private or intimate dinning experience. The restaurant probably had seating for about 20 guest. There's an open kitchen. Most tables were 2 seaters when we were there. The ambiance was great, the customer service was amazing and the food was wonderful. Chef Ali and his sous chefs basically run the whole restaurant. They greet & seat the guest, take the orders, cook and serve the food. We ordered the pork and beef egg roll along with the Caesar salad for our appetizers. The egg rolls were so good, I would recommend these to everyone. For my entree I had the 8oz lobster tail and my husband had the filet medallions sautéed in mushrooms and onions which was highly recommended personally by the chef. For our sides we ordered the garlic sautéed green beans, grilled veggies, and baked potatoes. The whole dinning experience was amazing. I can't wait to go back. read more

Absolute Worst Valentines experience The restaurant was prepaid, didn't get seated for a hour after our reservation( Guys it isn't too bad was seated at 10 from a 9pm reservation and overheard a couple saying they had a 8:15 reservation and we were seated at the same time) , they dont have a system to keep reservation in order they actually came outside and told everyone "be honest who's next" Crazy for a $500 dinner After 20mins seated I had to ask for water myself & Champagne was Hot Steak was Overcooked Asked for steak & salmon brought me lobster tail and waited another 15-20mins for my plate to return, in that same time they never brought out our sides and had to remind them of that too. This is all from greed a 15 table restaurant why do u have four or more 9pm reservations? 45 $ Parking ticket. Messed up reservations and an outside table with cars and heavy traffic 12" away. And lovely exhaust fumes. Pior Tuesday Open Table Reservation. Confirmed time. Next day Johnnie the manager asks for confirmation. We say confirmed. Saturday we arrive to a full Restaurant and a flustered staff They told us we could sit outside. WTF a party of four was pissed. What happened was greed. First off this is a micro popup restaurant. 12 tables in 40 tiny square feet. There were 5 tables lined up for a party of 10. Greed , he bumped us for a larger party. Off to Yelp to find another reasturant we leave one car there and drive to another venue that actually honors reservations. We come back to pickup our car and find a 45$ parking ticket on our windshield. See , rude and inconsiderate owner causes this series of events. Normally I never write a bad review but wait. The ambiance and a unique combination of elegant and cozy while also boosting laid back and dinner with old friend vibes. How do they do it, go and see. This place is owned and operated by private chefs, all of them. The food was unique, delicious, and surprisingly fast to arrive. This place will become a staple for us! Incredible little place! We arrived and sweet Valencia greeted us with a smile on her face. Had the empanadas as an appetizer, ribeye and the medallions along with the fried yuca and mac-n-cheese. FIVE BIG STARS! I have found that post-pandemic dining has been relatively disappointing. I recognize that the reason for this is largely beyond the control of the restaurateurs, which is why I haven't posted many reviews. Still, being understanding doesn't make the meal any less mediocre. This steakhouse was the exception. I had noticed it from the street a few times, but had never stopped in, mostly because I had already eaten dinner. On this particular occasion, I had attempted to make reservations at two places in Fort Lauderdale, but they were booked solid. Good for them. I eventually recalled this place, and booked a table. Upon arrival, my date and I were seated at an intimate table for two by the window. White linens and stylish tablecloths. The decor was elegant and on point for traditional upscale dining. I ordered a glass of Malbec, which was a pretty decent vintage. I don't recall the label, though. I'd have ordered a bottle, but my date wasn't drinking that night. The service was friendly and efficient without being "overly present." Chef Ali came out to introduce himself., which was a great touch. He seemed genuine and appreciative of our patronage. My date asked for the salmon, and I ordered a seasoned ribeye medium-rare. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional and the preparation was perfect. My steak was not overly-seasoned and the temperature was exact. I didn't taste the salmon, but my date devoured the fillet with the ravenous appetite of a feral cat--only, a she was a bit more dignified. The chef checked on us personally after the food was served. We both agreed that we were made to feel very welcome. The price tag wasn't cheap, but it avoided the 20% markup we sometimes have to pay for pretension. Importantly, what I loved about this place was what it avoided being. It is not a nightclub with a MacBook deejay. It is not a one-size-fits-all, fifty-entree diner. It's not a place that's trying to seat hundreds of guests at once.. It's a quiet, cozy, romantic jewel in a pretty fun part of town. This restaurant got me in the way that few do. I will be back again and again. I'll have to see what I'm doing the day after that. If you're going to CLASS Soiree, make reservations. It's a small venue and you don't want to be turned away. Trust me. You really don't. read more

As long as I have lived in Hollywood and have hung out in downtown Hollywood, I had no idea that this place was here. This is definitely a hidden gem. I came here with some friends. We were celebrating our friends' 50th Birthday! This is a quaint small establishment creatively adorned. If you inside, it gives you the feeling of being in someone's home in their dining room enjoying the ambiance and company. We ordered the 5-cheese bruschetta (yummy) and the egg rolls. We didn't want to get too filled up before dinner. We then ordered the 40oz meat board Which consisted of churrasco, pork chops, lamb chops and chorizo. We added a rib eye to the board. The board also had different aioli's and sauces. We ordered sides of mashed potatoes, vegetables and mushroom with onions. Scrumptious! Everything was delicious. I love lamb chops and these were amazing! The owner was very kind and appreciative that we were there. The chef came out to speak with us and took pictures with us. I would definitely go again. I highly recommend that you make reservations. This is a nice place to celebrate a birthday, celebrate an anniversary, celebrate love, celebrate friendships or just to have a nice dinner. If you pass on eating here, you've missed out on phenomenal food and an epic experience. Shame on you! :) Where do we start... this is a gem of a place in Hollywood. 11/10! Would eat here again in a heartbeat. We were immediately greeted by Ali and given excellent services by the other waitresses. It was cute, quaint and, because of that, we received premier service. Honestly I don't know why people love this place. We went in New Year's Eve, now I know how busy restaurants can be on that night from having worked in restaurants but they didn't handle it well. We made a reservation at 7:15 because we had other things we wanted to do that night. When we got there we told the woman that greeted us about our reservation and she said she would check us in and to have a seat outside so we did. 20 min go by and a man comes out side and tells the family that had a later reservation that they would be next and their table would be ready in 20-30 min and then proceeded to tell us they are very busy and we would just have to wait. Ok fine. 30 min goes by they tell us and then it's going to be another 15-30 min ok... here it is an hour after our reservation time and still not seated. We didn't get seated until almost 9pm. When we did get seated we were happy to try a new restaurant (to us). Oh boy were we in for a treat! The service was absolutely horrible. We ordered a bunch of apps because we wanted to try a bunch of things. The bread was burnt when it came out and no flavor. The shrimp was the best thing I had all night. The server didn't bother clearing the table before the next course we had to ask her to take the empty dirty dishes away and to bring us more water. We all order steaks because it's a steakhouse. First and foremost if your menu says ribeye make sure it's actually ribeye because what we were served was not a ribeye and was super salty and burnt. We returned for the second time during a visit to Ft Lauderdale. The whole experience is relaxing, yet special. The service is friendly and warm, yet attentive. Highlights of our dinner were the chicken empanadas, the wedge salad, and the warm homemade donuts. The other food we ordered, the chicken chowder, surf and turf with fillet and lobster, and the grilled vegetables were good, but not as unusually special as the other items. I'm torn at what to say about this hidden Gem. The place is lovely very tiny I think 8 tables. We were a party of 4 Family owned and operated I ordered the oysters they were not good at all very large and had a very gamey taste . Not sweet and delicate. Disappointed I was looking forward to them. I also ordered colossal king crab again very disappointed $33 per leg . I ordered 2 legs colossal means very large and top of the line. the crab I got was small dry and very fishy. It is a true luxury to Order this off the menu so needless to say I was disappointed . My husband ordered the filet steak bits it was very delicious and a strawberry salad with greens. He Also loved their truffle Mac n cheese. I asked for cappuccino and they only had espresso I also asked for decaf and the server laughed at me and said nope no decaf. Only regular. We did order their donuts that were delightful served hot with caramel and chocolate syrup. I'm not sure I want to rush back so fast. The place is decorated so lovely it's very tiny. The bathroom is coed long and very skinny with a step up not sure how it's handicap accessible?? There was a ladie that had to be walked to the bthrm door she was quite inebriated and tripped on the step quite dangerous. The service was pretty good I will try it again one day but to many great places to rush back so soon. I will give them 3 stars because they tried so hard and half the meal was ok. read more

Made a reservation that was confirmed for indoor seating. Got to the restaurant and was inconsiderately told that their was a private party and that the only thing they could do is sit us outside next to sewer water, no fans to keep you cool in the FL heat, and left open to a unsafe environment. The restaurant is located in a sketchy neighborhood in Hollywood. The table was covered in dirt for construction work across the street. Left with out eating. Never received an apology. The main dishes were amazing and as a picky eater, it's important that the food is prepared exactly the way it's requested. Chef Ali did not disappoint and I appreciate the visit to the table to confirm that the expectations were fulfilled. We ordered donuts for dessert and they arrived warm with dipping options of caramel and chocolate. It was a wonderful adult treat! I think the staff was highly aware that we were enjoying ourselves (especially since we were there so long). Because we were having such a nice evening, we canceled our additional plans and stayed longer than anticipated. One of the best steaks I've ever had. The donuts for dessert were really good too! Wish they had more mid range priced wines but we were happy with the inexpensive bottle we got. The chef was very hospitable he was hands on with the guests, greeting, serving making communication seamless. In this pandemic it was comforting to see social distancing and mask worn by staff. The food was delicious we had a 3 course meal. First to start was a fresh colorful crisp salad and shrimp the shrimp was huge and delicious, flavorful.
