I thoroughly enjoy this location. They clearly live up to their reputation, as the place stays lively and you can hear surrounding tables speaking highly of the wait staff. No issues to report. We never think to go to Outback when we're thinking of places to go. This happened to be on the way to a show that we had that night. We were greeted when we walked in and were seated immediately since there wasn't a wait. We were sat near the bar. The booth that we were seated at could be accessed on either side. Since my back was to the kitchen, I never knew if they would pop up to my left or right, lol. Our server was Sean who is an incredible asset to the company! I think he was also manning the bar. He was like a hawk eyeing the food coming out of the kitchen by the runners. When my husband's side Wedge Salad came out, he discreetly told the runner that there should be bacon on it. The runner went back into the kitchen to get my husband's salad fixed. When my Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad was brought to the table, it looked different than when I had it years ago so I asked the runner if that was my Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad and he said it was. Well, Sean came over to our table and asked me if he could fix my salad (I think those were his words). I didn't know what he meant and thought that he was going to toss it for me. He took it back to the kitchen where they tossed it and also added some Aussie Crunch which was missing when it was first brought out. Sean checked on us pretty often and made sure that we didn't need anything. He really was amazing! If Sean is your server, you won't have to worry about your order getting messed up. Alan and the team were tremendous. I was in the area looking for happy hour menus. Google said one thing, but when I went inside, he explained they only had HH drinks- no food. He made a few menu recommendations and I looked over the menu. They have a new Koala Punch that I swapped the lemonade portion for Sprite- it was sooooo delicious!!! The food was the typical Outback Steakhouse fare. The classic Blooming Onion was tasty with the creamy sauce and had just the right amount of kick. The grilled chicken was very moist and tender. The 8 oz. sirloin was a little spicy for my taste. The waiter was very efficient and replenished our drinks as needed. However, the hostesses were not the most friendly or welcoming. There were plenty of available tables that just needed to be cleaned. The hostess sat us at the table at the entrance that was practically at the front door. When we asked politely to be moved, she was obviously annoyed and complained to the other hostess loud enough for us to hear. read more

We are members of their dine rewards program plus we've received gift cards from family members to use at this group of restaurants. We had very good service from the server at the bar. There were six seasoned shrimp served on top of bread and a side of french fries. He said the shrimp were a tad spicy (fine for him). He'd order this again. We normally have a great experience here but when they fail, they tailspin FAIL. Tonight I ordered two RARE steaks and the filet mignon was well done. My steak had some pink but you shouldn't have to cut into the very center to find it. This is so not what we get when we dine in. I'm so disappointed! Is it because of the particular chef on this day? We frequent this restaurant multiple times a month because we love a good steak. When we dine in we can tell the staff if there is an issue but when you order takeout, that option isn't an option. Overall the pluses outweigh the negatives but this is strike two. The last time, there was no offer of making things right and that doesn't make us happy either. For regulars and year-round residents to be served substandard service does not sit well. What an amazing experience at the Outback! My gf's and I were in FLL for work and decided to meet for a quick dinner. The Outback was the perfect place. This is basically a brand new Outback restaurant in Dania Pointe. There were numerous other restaurants in this immediate area too. The place was not busy and we were sat immediately by the hostess. The warm bread and butter was on the table which we devoured quickly. The server, Alan, was friendly and took our order, which went painlessly. The food was on the table within fifteen minutes. I ordered an iceberg lettuce app and the Porterhouse steak with a baked potato. The wife ordered a Filet steak with Alice chicken. Both entrees were cooked perfectly. The manager, Heidi, was extremely attentive to our table amongst others. We were way too full for dessert. Last month, my daughter and I celebrated our March birthdays as we are 5 days apart in the birth date. We were getting ready to leave for Punta Cana the next day, so we picked Outback, which was close to our dogs boarding place. Plus, we hadn't been there in a while. The vibe there is relaxing, and we needed to do that after packing all day. We both ordered the same thing, the Ribeye with Bone-in, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms, wedge salad. The last time we were there pre-Covid, we had the same thing, and it was delicious. This time, my steak was not a good cut. It had so much grizzle that I couldn't even cut thru the meat. My daughter's cut was perfect, of course. But it was my birthday and I was so disappointed. Our servers were Allyssa & Ana, who were the greatest and brought the manager over to our table. I placed a $230 order through DoorDash with Outback and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. After noticing no progress on my order, I called the restaurant. The first time, a woman named Midland answered and hung up on me immediately. When I called back, she hung up again. On my third attempt, she finally answered but claimed they didn't even have an order under my name while being rude and dismissive the entire time. I then spoke with Diana, the manager. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she told me they had no filet at all (the main item I ordered) and basically admitted she didn't know what to do. Her "solution" was to say she'd call DoorDash. Meanwhile, I still haven't gotten my $230 back. How is a steakhouse completely out of steak and treating customers this way on top of it?
