Amazing Service!! My wife & I woke up to a broken AC unit this morning (Sunday). Started calling AC companies around 11am to see if anyone could come out And fix it today. I called 4 companies that I see driving around town in their perfectly wrapped trucks, who advertise emergency service on the same day. 2 companies couldn't come until Tuesday, one never answered my calls, and the other told me they'd call me back, which took 2 hours. I remembered using Classic a year ago, and should have remembered immediately. As soon as I called them, they took my info, told me they had a tech on call and they would gather info, and setup a call, and call me back. They called back within 15 minutes and told me Ty would be enroute and on-site in 25 minutes. Ty arrived around the expected time, entered the house with his PPE on, and got right to work. He found the issue in the attic. It was a short in the thermostat wire. Initially it appeared to be a fried circuit board. It also seems that the heater and AC unit have been running simultaneously for a few months and putting a lot of strain on the unit. After the short was fixed, everything ran fine.. better than before in fact as my heater isn't running anymore while my AC runs. Ty didn't try to up sell me for anything I didn't even need. In fact I asked him about the monthly program they offer for maintenance and he told me I wouldn't need to worry about that until we reach about 10 years on the system. I was charged for a standard service maintenance call. No additional charges. All in all, amazing service from a company who values the customers like they're family. I won't ever use anyone else. I first spoke with Ross, who was very helpful and told me about the different packages with no pressure, and offered to have his guys out that afternoon. I shopped around a bit and found Classic Heating and Air to have the fastest quote, the quickest appointment available, and a reasonable price, so we went with them. When I called back, Dane answered the phone and took care of me the rest of the way. After a few callbacks with different questions, we had the installation of a complete new system setup for the following morning. The guys came out on time, were respectful of the house and were friendly. The entire system was ready within about 5 hours, and Dane walked us through it with some parting tips. Trustworthy! After months of remodeling, we decided that we needed to have our ducts cleaned to reduce the effects of new dust on top of the accumulation in a 45 year old house. I looked into using one of the many companies that offer $65 coupons in mailers, but hesitated because of reviews that said the final price was much much more. I decided to go with Classic Heating and Air's sanitization process. I knew it was available, but they never pushed it on us, the price they quoted on the phone was reasonable and is exactly what I paid, and this team at CH&A has always been the ones we can trust with our HVAC system!
