I made an appointment online for vehicle service. Somehow my service appointment was cancelled. I received no notification of such cancellation. When I was trying to verify what happened, they kept me going in circles. I asked to speak with a manager but none were available. One of the employees there said she would speak with someone to see if they can still take care of my service need. I waited in vain as no one got back with me. Maybe they were too busy but the impression I received was that of being ignored. read more

ok, let me start by saying i have always been satisfied with Classic however I believe their service department needs some improvement. i had an 11 am appointment for a semi-annual check up on my 2020 Buick. It wasn't until 12:40 pm that they were able to service my automobile; usually it will include a car wash after service to my automobile; when car service was completed the casr was not washed due to " back up " I suppose. Lesson learned: i will make earlier appointment and just pick up the car later in the day vs. waiting, that is if I decide to use them again. read more

I'll never lease a GM product again after leasing 2 Saab 9-3's (not here), a Buick Encore, a GMC Acadia, and a Sierra. Their customer service keeps getting worse, they keep taking things away like loaner cars, covered maintenance and lounge amenities (couple pots of old coffee) but expect higher lease payments. Have been loyal to GM brands for 19 years but no longer will I wait for 3 hours when I have a scheduled appointment for a oil change and tire rotation. Asked about a shuttle so I don't have to sit at the dealership getting bombarded by sales people and waited for over an hour before I gave up. Do yourself a favor don't lease GM/Chevy/Buick... Time is money, they're making theirs and wasting mine. read more

Need front license plate holder for Terrain (moving to Tx. from La.) got it at the parts counter. Parts said drive up to service door at ask for Oscar. He found me right as I drove in and said a service guy will be right there to rivet it on. About 10 steps behing Oscar was a service tech, he saw me holding the part and said he would put it on for me. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. read more

I Went with my son to purchase his first car on his own. JAMES was his salesperson. We had a car already in mind, but James told him he couldn't get financing on it, but could on a more expensive newer car. After some hesitation he signed the papers.(WHICH WE STILL DON'T HAVE OUR COPIES) After driving to work in the big rain we had, his Engine cover connected to the bumper was HANGING OFF & had to be pulled off in order to keep driving and in doing so, he found that a BUNGEE CORD had been placed there to keep it on!! He went back to the dealership & was told HE hit something & they could fix it AT HIS EXPENSE!! This Dealership & its Salespeople (MATT also yelled at him in front of Customers) don't care about their Customers once the sale is made. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

The buying process was simple and at no time did we feel pressured to purchase or have any other sales tactics thrown our way. James Kilgore and Charlie Acosta were more than professional and it made the car buying experience exceptional. We started the paperwork process and it was simple no haggle pricing! We then went over to finance and got in and out of there very quickly. The young man we dealt with in the finance department was very professional and very laid back. I apologize I did not get his name. It was such a simple process. While we were in finance Charlie went and washed the vehicle on his own. Keep in mind this was closing time on a Saturday and it was something he didn't have to do. Instead of letting us take home a dirty vehicle he went above and beyond and washed it himself. That is service! In closing I have to say I love your dress code and the laid back atmosphere. It was very festive and much better than having a bunch of guys in full suits out in the Texas heat. My wife and I bought a car in December and a Suburban in March so we have seen our share of car dealerships and salesmen. This was by far a lot better experience and when it comes time to buy again I will look towards Classic first. Thanks again and I will definately recommend others to go to Classic Buick! read more

I've been taking my car to Classic GMC service department in Arlington for several years. They've always been very accommodating and completed the needed service timely. Some time ago my service manager left Classic and I was introduced to Brett as my new new service adviser. WOW....This gentleman demonstrates unbelievable professionalism! He returns calls promptly, explains what service/repairs are needed, schedules the service,establishes an action plan and follows up. I dread having to take my car back here every time there's an issue. The service is terrible! God forbid you miss their call and try to return it, they'll keep sending you to voicemail and won't try to call you back. When you go in they expect you to remember the name of the service person like you talk to them everyday! I don't remember his/her name I'm sorry how about you look up MY name and find my vehicle. I could go on & on but just to get to the point the service here is always bad. I definitely wouldn't recommend Classic. I'll be going to Vandergriff for my next GM vehicle. read more

I am writing this review to share my horrible experience with Classic GMC and the service department at Classic Buick GMC in Arlington, TX I 20 frontage road. If I could give this place a million zero stars I DEFINITELY would. I took my truck to be fixed and they pretty much did nothing and kept it there looking pretty and did nothing to it. There famous words are we could not duplicate the issues. Laughing My behind Off! They have incompetent people working for the dealership. Management is money hungry and quick to put the blame on general motors making horrible vehicles. Then why do they sell them if they don't want the responsibility on fixing any issues with the vehicles. The trucks you buy from classic GM are loaners that have been used by many people including their staff. Then sell it like a new truck out of the display. lol. I feel that they try not to fix your vehicle to get you to trade in the one you have for another off their lot. Which the answer would be hell no never. Customer service is bad at Classic. Management is worse. The owners work there and know what is happening and being said yet they hide behind one another. I would like to tell everyone buy a Silverado if needing a truck. Do not go to Classic GMC at Arlington to buy anything, They will take your money and pretty much leave you stranded when your vehicle cant be fixed per their words. Which is a total lie. This dealership is bad news do not go here at all. If you do not want to spend your hard working money on a lemon or on a vehicle that will cost you more then what it is worth. He also sent it back to the shop for a quick fix and since it also needed a new battery and they didn't have one in stock, they reimbursed me when I bought one. We just moved to the Arlington area about 2 months ago and didn't really know about any of the dealerships here so we just ran with the first Buick one that showed up close to where we live. Big mistake on our part. My wife took our year old leased encore with 19,000 miles in for a routine oil change. She called in and scheduled an appointment. Apparently this doesn't matter there. She waited 3 hours for them to do the service. When we bought the car one of the perks was free oil changes for 2 years through Buick. This dealer says they don't honor that here. So we suck it up and pay over $100 for an oil change. As my wife is driving home the car starts stalling out. So she turns around and goes back to the service department. They make her wait another hour before they look at it. When they finally come out to tell her what happened it's not even the service manager but some young kid. They didn't drain the old oil out. That's right, a simple oil change. So they tell her that it should be ok and maybe they'll take something off the price for her trouble. So we pay you to break our car now? So she demands to see someone in charge. He finally showed up and said she didn't have to pay for anything. Ok, we are slightly happy at this point. 3 days later we have fluid pooling under the car. Looks like coolant, not sure what's going on so we schedule to take it back in. This time she's there for 5 hours. When they do come out they say that somehow her coolant lines came off and that they replaced them. It'll be $521 please. Seriously? You just broke our car 3 days ago and now we get to pay you to fix it? Plus it's under warranty! Gosh, we checked and the system said it wasn't. This is what they really said. So basically this place is off limits to us for life. The reviews speak the truth people, read them. I wish we had read more

Absolutely deplorable and embarrassing service at Classic GMC, and it's become worse over the years. Service was so bad during my recent visit that it really made me regret my vehicle purchase. Lack of loaners resulted in me waiting 6 weeks to get an appointment. I literally had to bully my way in for service in light of the fact that my car would stop on me in the middle of traffic several times a day. And in case you're wondering, the narrative that says American craftsmanship pales in comparison to overseas manufacturers is true. read more

Where to begin.. with the good. We purchased our 2019 Enclave in Feb. of 2019.. totally great experience. Now for the BAD. The service department is deplorable. We went in for our first oil change in Oct. of 2019. The wait was not that bad... went out to get in my car and there was OIL all over the leather center console. The service woman didn't seem to care.. no apology... nothing. She did take the car back and they cleaned it off. We went back and forth on whether to return for the next oil change.. we decided to give it a go. WHAT A MISTAKE! With the rona, I have not been driving as much so our car was not due until Sept. 2020. My husband takes it this time.... the wait again was not bad, this time when the car was brought around there were oily hand prints on every panel of the car. My husband told them it was unacceptable, so they take the car back to wash it. When they bring it around, the car now has a DENT in the hood and a DENT on the back right corner panel. Thank goodness my husband decided to walk around it. Two experiences such as these, we will not be going back to this dealership. The top dog did make it right... we refused to use their paintless dent repair contractor and took it to our own person (The Dent Artist in Arlington.. AWESOME!!!). They reimbursed us the amount of the repairs fully. Yes this is a good thing, but these incidences shouldn't have happened in the first place. To trust them a third time would be foolish of us. To have sales persons that are as knowledgeable and nice as ours, with such an incompetent service department, is just sad and unacceptable. It appears that no one truly cares. When picking up our reimbursement check, there was no... hey again we are truly sorry this happened... nothing. We were just handed the check.. that's it. No thank you ... we as customers need to start demanding better, esp. with the amount of money we are paying out on these vehicles. I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership and expected a smooth transaction and quality service. I understand salesmen can be a bit sneaky but I left this dealership feeling deceived and untrustworthy of this dealer. Here are the seasons for my review: 1- after negotiating our final purchase price, the papers were drawn up and we began to sign. We realized shortly the price on the paperwork was significantly higher than we settled on. The salesman was "unable" to go back and change the numbers to our agreed upon price so we had to settle on some merchandise (floormats, etc) to get us to a reasonable agreement. In the end we still lost out on money. 2- we went to the financial department and were told the only way to get one of the discounts was to use GM financial. We were told the interest rate and told if we didn't like it, we could refinance with another institution the following month. We attempted to do so and were told the loan was too new and couldn't refinance, thus we are stuck in our high interest loan. (That is our own fault for ignorance; however we should never have been told it was an option) 3- we left with our temp plates on the car and weeks went by and we never got our permanent ones. The week our plates were to expire I called and was told they had arrived (which no one had contacted me to tell me) and they'd be mailed. The end of the week came and no plates so called again. Told they would be mailed AGAIN and another week went by without my plates. Finally the sales manager was contacted and my plates were overnighted to me. This was not my first new car purchase and found the experience to be frustrating and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, I would not recommend this dealership. read more

I called the service department yesterday about a broken vent window latch on a truck. The person I spoke with (I believe was actually the service manager), didn't bother to look up the part. I asked if the latch was separate or if the entire window needed to be replaced. Again without being specific, he rolled with yeah replace the window and that will be $400-$600. Today I got it repaired for $40 and only the latch needed replacement. Beware the service department! read more

Covid-19 Safety Practices. I picked-up/dropped off my sister at the service center last week so that she could get her SUV serviced. We were very disappointed to see that none of the representatives or service personnel were wearing masks or practicing any of the other recommended Covid-19 safety procedures. This dealership is the worst. I made a mistake of buying my wife a 2018 Terrain here a year ago. Because the dealership is close by we went to look at car for my daughter that was a mistake. Spent a lot of time there for nothing. No negotiations and then at the end they tried to remove a $2,000 rebate. Needless to say we left. We went to Hiley GMC/Buick and found the same car and got the rebate and $1,000 less than Classic. Wasted time at Classic and that's what I get for not wanting to drive 30 minutes to Hiley. Never again I will go right past Classic and drive to Hiley. I suggest everyone do the same. read more

Just got back from Classic and these guys are amazing. Especially Dave Ramos, one of the service advisors. My 2016 GMC Denali 2500HD Duramax is having some issues. It is modified with a wheelchair lift and I drive from my wheelchair. Because of this, they actually brought testing equipment out to the parking lot outside the service center. I worked with three different individuals and they were all knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Especially Dave, for coordinating everything. He is amazing. I will definitely be going back to them for all my service needs. And it doesn't hurt that they are right around the corner from me! read more

The technical and customer service at Classic GMC is top notch. I live a few minutes from another GMC service center and I gladly drive across town to classic. I have two small babies and they help me move carseats and bulky strollers to and from the car. They even held my baby while I was getting settled!
