No other shops in town would touch something so old so James to the rescue. He was willing to try old fashioned fixes rather than just throwing parts at the car which I always appreciate. In the end his prices were fairly reasonable considering it's alaska, and he got my jeep back on the road! Only downmarks at all if you can call it that is sometimes communication can be a bit slow. But know I can be an over communicator so I'll share some blame there. Overall would recommend!

When I pointed this out to the owner, he pushed the broken pieces back into place, and told me "it's fine". At this point, unbidden the mechanic some over and said, "I didn't do that". I said ok but it wasn't broke when I dropped it off, and the owner told me to go to hell. I said I wouldn't be back, he said fuck you, he would write my name down so I couldn't come back. After just dropping 570 on a water pump. Easy as an apology and I would have been fine. What incredibly bad service.

What made the situation worse was being told that reordering the correct tires would cost an additional $200 if I wanted them sooner than two weeks from now. I spent days looking for solutions online and repeatedly did all the steps to reprogram the fobs. Then the car wouldn't start randomly AND the alarm went off. I got the car out to Mendenhall Auto and it continued it's bizarre behavior. I left it there for the day. They managed to squeeze it in, and figured out it was a switch for the dome light that was interfering with the sensors someway. I just called and Art told me they had fixed it all.
