I wish I could give zero stars, but after looking at this locations overall 2.5 rating, it's apparent that a lot of people feel this way. I have had nothing but bad experiences since purchasing my car from this location. From the dealership manager raising his voice at me for me asking for an itemized statement of specific charges , to being dishonest to me about not knowing that I purchased my car from their dealership and not giving me my free oil changes and me having to confront them about it( which came with the purchase of my car).I have taken my car in for routine oil changes, had my muffler pinched and my car was making strange noises. Now my car is in the shop because of a manufacturer paint defect (which is out of their hands) and I was told it would be one week. The paint defect is the size of a quarter .NOTE, the dealership does not offer a loaner or a rental car, which is the most insane thing I have ever heard of. I have no way to get around without a vehicle. I have been asking the sales agents for updates for 2 days via text and he has been unresponsive. I text him to today and then called to have another customer service rep say that he saw my messages but has just been too busy to answer( aren't we all) , Meanwhile I still have no car. I called customer service for help and they said could you go in person and talk to them, to which I replied, "I would if I had a car". I have been asking for a call since this morning and still have not received one. I am a mom with a daughter who needs a way to get around until this defect is repaired. Hope this gets resolved soon. I will never buy another vehicle or trade in my car here. UPDATE 10/25/2023- I have been contacted to pick up a loaner vehicle. I got to the office today and I was able to speak to management and they offered me a car to use while my car is being fixed. I really wish we would have had a better experience with the salesman here because we would have ended up with another Honda versus the Toyota we have now and we'd have never had to deal with Central Toyota. What a horrid experience that was! I think the problem here was we got labeled as soon as we walked in the door. Neither of us dressed up at all and I didn't bother to put make-up on. It should not have matter because we were there to buy a car and buy a car that day. We had the credit, etc. to do so and we did in fact buy a car, like I said above, just not from here. The salesman barely gave us any of his time. Didn't take the time to show us around the lot. It was rather rude and basically just dismissed us. We could have asked for another salesman or asked to speak to the manager, but we didn't. We didn't appreciate being "sized-up" and treated that way, so we just left. It's really a pity too because we had a Honda Fit we really loved. Hubby had just totaled it in a freak accident. He hydroplaned coming home from Disney after work about 2am on the backroads. it was pouring rain, he could barely see the road, wasn't speeding at all, but he hit that puddle and off the road he went. After seeing the car, I couldn't believe he survived it and the firemen at the scene told him he would not have survived it had it not been for Honda's side airbags. They said without them he would have broken his neck on impact. So yes, we went specifically looking for another Honda. They absolutely lost a sale the day we walked in and they decided to stereotype us. A word to the wise Honda salesmen: Y'all work on commission and every customer should be treated the same. I purchased my new CR-V from this dealership on 3/29/23. Started by calling and speaking with Alberto, a salesperson there. He was very polite, communicative and straightforward. Didn't waste my time. We settled on a price over the phone. Then, we came to an agreement on a very fair trade in value for my trade. Kept it simple. No market adjustment from this dealer! That was fantastic! When we got to the dealership, Alberto and Rafael (manager) were waiting. Very professional and courteous. They had Danny help finish the paperwork, then sent us to finance where Ed was great as well. No hidden charges, no games and no time wasted. We were out of there with our new car in less than an hour and a half. We have purchased many cars before. Never has it gone as well as this transaction. Wish we lived closer to this dealership. Liars. Unsafe. Unsanitary Thieves. This dealership is not honest. And not following safe coronavirus protocols. It is unsafe. Worst dealership I've ever been to. I got a quote for around $65 for an oil change and tire rotation on my 2014 Honda Civic. I am moving to Miami and wanted to ensure my car was in top shape for the drive. I walked out $560 later. Now I did ask for them to look at my Bluetooth because my phone button is stuck and won't work and the usb plays very quiet when connected. I was quoted $100 because they "take everything apart to look at it" so it should have been $165. When the car came back they said "the phone button is stuck. $1600 to fix." I TOLD YOU THE PHONE BUTTON WAS STUCK! I don't need to pay $100 for that. I asked about what exactly the problem was and what about the USB and the response was "I don't know." When I got in the car it was clear nothing was taken apart. That is stealing. Maribel came out midway and said it was imperative I get a break flush and new alternator belt. She told me my car would stop if I didn't do it. I was shown no proof and really think they lied to me because I was blonde with a service dog. They thought they could take advantage of me. That's not ok. I can't trust a service center who is clearly lying about other things. I take great care of my car and get it tuned up regularly. I don't think this was needed and I'm worried they messed my car up. I feel cheated and stolen from. And they put my life at risk. Bad infection protocols are deadly. As for infection protocols: When I drove up I saw an automotive repair technician not wearing a mask. I was jolted. The online customer service is so great I decided to walk in and ask about it stating I was immunocompromised. I was assured no one would enter my car without a mask and they disinfect every car that comes in and out plastic on the floors, seats and steering wheel. I said ok and said that was good especially because I just redid my entire interior this week and installed new rubber floor mats yesterday. I stayed outside for 4 hours in the heat because not everyone inside was wearing masks and even people outside were walking around without masks and my car was tied up so I couldn't leave. When I got back to my car it was clear no disinfection protocols had been followed. No plastic had been put down. The person who brought it around had the mask under their nose and didn't even wipe anything down or alcohol his hands. Nothing. Just like it was 2019 or something. I saw him do this with car after car. When I looked inside my brand new tan floor mats that I installed YESTERDAY had been covered in black residue. And my brand new dog hammock had black residue as well. That is unacceptable!!!!! How would you feel if you just spent weeks redoing your car interior and it took forever because you have a disability, and someone came in and ruined part of it? And lied and put your life at risk? I called while still in the parking lot and was assured someone would call me. I received no call. No email. If the owner of Classic Honda sees this- I want my money back for at least the Bluetooth diagnostics, proof this "break flush and alternator belt" were an actual thing and I wasn't being lied to or issue a refund if your dealership has in fact been dishonest which I HIGHLY suspect, new tan rubber floor mats, and an apology for lying and putting my life at risk. We were looking to buy a white Honda Pilot and had agreed on an out the door number the night before going in. I had mentioned several times that we needed to get everything done quickly since my wife had to go into work after. I provided copies of my ID and insurance as well as completed the finance application online. We went in excited the next morning, but it was one disappointment after another. 1. The salesperson we were handed off to did not seem like he was filled in at all on everything that was previously discussed, including need to get things done quickly 2. The car we were there to purchase was the dirtiest car I've ever test driven. There were crumbs all over the center console, scratches around where the ignition area usually is, and it was clear they made no attempt to even run the outside through the wash. The car already had almost 300 miles and did not give off the new car feeling at all. 3. There was one other model there in black with the same trim and features, which we only discovered walking around the lot ourselves. This black one was only on their lot for 1 week compared to 120+ days for the white one we had come for. Due to this, they wanted $2000+ more than the white one out the door. We took our business to the Honda in Clermont and got the deal done quickly and painlessly the next day. Lesson learned is if you're looking for a deal on a new car, go for the ones that have been on the lot for more than 60 days. read more

Who likes buying a car? Seriously, it's a pain in the rear end and you never know if you're getting a good deal or not. Well, after all these years of going through the treacherous process of purchasing a car, doing the sales negotiation dance, getting worked over in the finance department on APR & extended warranties...finally, I had a really easy and smooth transaction. Ok, so here's the long and short of it. Holler Classic Honda = Zero Haggling. The prices are posted on the car with the discount, add $599 dealer fee & sales tax.....boom, you're done. I didn't actually know much about Holler and the car I was looking for just happened to be there. Additionally, I did my financing ahead of time with capital one and Holler is a preferred dealer, so viola...there I was. Now, let me just take a second to talk about this pre-approved financing, yeah...do that from now on. I got $40k approved in 10 seconds from capital one, put in the vin for the car, it gave me an APR & payment amount based on the deal I put in there (which is very clear with Holler). So, I ended up getting 2.76% on a 5 year loan...hellllooooooo? That's pretty darn sweet. So, back to the Holler gang. They were super cool, easy to deal with and very fair. I never felt pressured and when I told the finance guy Michael that I didn't want to do the extended warranty he didn't put the crazy insane pressure on me and simply said I had 5 days to add it to "the package" if I wanted to. He did follow up the next day per his promise and said no problem when I declined and said he would finalize the paperwork. I didn't buy a Honda there, but I did buy a new car and it was a great experience. Go ask for Raphael....he's super nice guy. read more

Today I took my car to get and oil change and any other service needed. I made my appointment in advance with Josh (I can only highly recommend Josh or Maribel) and he welcomed me on arrival and promptly got me checked in. The car told us what was needed for today's service. The driver Ashton then drove me to work. If Josh found out other maintenance was needed he would call me and he told me when he would call by. He then called prior to the time he mentioned he would and let me know all the services are complete and it was being vacuumed and washed as we speak. He is then going to contact Ashton to have him call me regarding time pickup. Ashton is awesome, he'll call when he is in front of the building and will take me back to the dealership to checkout. I like these personal touches and that is why we purchase our cars from Classic Honda. Highly recommend this place and Josh or Maribel. Tell them you saw my post. read more

I went to classic Honda to purchase a CRV and trade in my vehicle and when the appraisal was done by (Richard)on my trade in the classic Honda staff intentionally left out over 8 upgrades and then they actually ran it through Kelly blue book with a cheaper model line and not mine! They still practice sleazy sales tactics . When I pointed out to them about this they said that that was all they could give me so I went to Brandon Honda in Tampa and received $3500 more on my trade in and paid $2500 less then the sticker at classic Honda! I inquired about a Civic they had listed online yesterday at 11am. Two agents, Brittany and Shelby, got back to me right away about the car. I continued talking to Brittany throughout the day about trade-in value and other questions. At 7pm, I asked if I could come the next morning to test drive it. I got a reply from Bill, the sales manager, telling me to come on in. So I arrived this morning only to be told by another agent that the car had already sold the previous morning. That means, in all likelihood, the car had already sold before the first two agents got back to me at 11am, and it had definitely already sold when the sales manager told me to come in the next morning at 7pm. In all, three different people from Classic Honda responded to me about the car yesterday without even checking if it was still available or knowing it had already sold but just wanting to get me on the lot. I have mixed reviews about this place. Firstly, those whom I worked with were excellent! Team Purple with Dwight and Jason. Very friendly and still professional. They made me feel at ease. Also, there was something I was concerned about and Jason, after explaining what it was said, "We could fix it and charge you for ot, but it is not something that will cause you any problems at all and there's no point to pay for an unnecessary car repair. " What?! That's amazing. Dwight was great about being friendly and talking me through things. They both remember me from my first and only visit over a month ago. But, it took F.O.R.E.V.E.R. They took my car immediately because I had an appointment, but it took nearly 4 hours, which I think was because they work on more than one car at a time? Classic Honda is a classic--friendly on the phone and welcoming in person. They gave us a good price from the outset, partially due to not tacking on a $1,2000- $2,4000 prep package of expensive add-ons that other dealerships do to get the asking price as high possible. Classic also gave us more for our trade-in than the three other Honda dealerships we visited (yes, we shop around). The whole car buying experience at Classic was non-stressful and relatively quick. Although Classic was farther away for us than other dealerships, it was definitely worth the drive. Our salesperson, Jimmy Persad was fantastic. Have you ever found a car salesperson that you liked and trusted? Jimmy is that guy! He was everything we could want in a salesperson and more-- friendly, genuine, never pushy and extremely knowledgeable about our CR-V. He even showed us features on our old CR-V that we were previously unaware of. After we bought our new car, he helped us transfer our stuff, program the computer to our preferences and went through a thorough check list of every detail. I tried to buy a car here but failed. First off let me say Eric my sales guy was awesome. If you happen to be at Classic Honda I highly recommend you talk to him. The rest of the dealership was the problem. We tried to buy a car. We agreed to a price did all our initial paper work and waited for the finance guy. Then we waited some more, and we waited some more. I say it took about 3 hours of waiting and my wife says it was only a little more than 2. The whole time our sales guy was apologizing about the wait and talking to us. But still 3 hours just to speak to the finance guy is ridiculous. He finally came out and told us that my wife's credit was frozen. We were unable to get it unfrozen that day. So, we made an appointment to come back 2 nights later after work. After having my wife's credit unfrozen the next day a finance person from the store called us to let us know everything was good for our appointment. I asked what the price of the car would be. They told me a new price that was $300 higher than the agreed upon price when we were there. I asked why, and they said we would discuss it in person. We arrived a couple minutes later for our appointment and we were told the finance guy would be ready for us in just a few minutes. Well an hour and 15 minutes later we still hadn't seen the finance guy. It was now late, and my wife had to be up early the next day, so we left. The workspace is not spic and span as I would expect from a well run garage. Waiting area furniture is stained. Their prices are not cheap so they should have the budget to maintain a clean shop and hire more technicians. Do NOT trust their '182 Point' "Certified Pre-owned Honda" crap! And just EXPECT Classic Honda to ignore your phone calls! Make any complaints directly to Honda America. My $35k car seemed perfect. Two months later when having the car sealed by a world-renowned elite show-car team of auto professionals... the clear coat and areas of paint on the hood... lifted right up, ruined! (The rest of the car is beautiful and has no known flaws at this point.) Turns out despite the line on the Inspection Form for (Hood, Paint Quality) being checked off as (Yes), meaning inspected and approved to meet Honda standards... The hood had large dings repaired on it (poorly) and then only half the paint coats reapplied (without primer) and only ONE clear coat reapplied! The car body and paint expert shop said I had less than a year before my entire hood would have turned milky gray and bubbled up. Any serious inspection should have detected it... unless the repair was known... At this point I am over $1000 into the hood repair. Hence the unanswered calls to Classic, and the... so far... friendly interactions with Honda America. It is likely NOT covered by the "Honda Certified 12 month warranty"....because... imagine this... It is being repaired by a nationally renowned body man, and NOT a Honda shop!! The nerve that I'm supposed to trust Honda anything! Which is more trustworthy... their "inspection", or the silence from Classic Honda? We are presently waiting for the previous owner to return a notarized statement showing they did not do the crap repair... but we wondered why this seemingly great car sat on the lot "a few weeks." Again, we love the car... it's the joke of an "inspection" they claim to do and the silent treatment that's the problem. read more

I was helped by a salesman Mo. He was wonderful and I was thrilled for his courtesy and kindness when buying my car back from me. HOWEVER, he stated I would have my equity check in 7-10 days. Well guess what. It has been one month and no one knows where the money is? Now they're giving me every alibi 4-6 weeks. The finance manager looks and 1st can't find my transaction. Some else finds it and calls me back (in a fog) very blaze and says I should come pick it up!! I'm an hour away and $10 each way in tolls. I don't think so. I ask them to fed ex it to me and they say "Oh that's too much money for Honda to do! Really?? I get an email 2 days later saying they got permission from corporate to UPS it 2 days. It is now 7 days and they have created the label but it's still in the dealership. I am literally disgusted and furious they can hold my money. It's not legal and I am personally insulted Honda can do this. Mo told me this morning "Honda handles a lot of money' mine is only a small little bit for them. Oh really. I scheduled an appointment for my Mazda online the previous day, because my check light had been on for two days along with other issues. The online register only allowed me to enter "other" as the make of the car. I later called the service department to confirm my appointment and there was no concerns or issues at that time. The next day I had my sister follow me to drop my car off and take me to work. Seems like this would have been smooth selling from this point. I was greeted by a gentleman who look on the appointment sheet and told me I had an appointment and proceed inside to this desk that said "Trent". Well I stood there for sometime before I asked if someone could call this young man because my ride was here and I could not be late for work. See, I am a first responder and we were preparing for the hurricane. Finally, Trent came only to tell me he was not my service guy but another guy was. So now I'm waiting on another guy, but then another guy who may have been a supervisor said that he would help me. Ok, Great, I thought. This guy proceeds to tell me you are at a Honda dealership not Mazda. I said, I know so you guys only service Honda? He said, well your check engine light is on and that's $65.00 and I don't want to charge you that on just a check engine light. I then said there are other things that's going on with the cat as well. Then, he said buy your at a Honda dealership. At this point I was not getting a good feeling, so I said never mind and left because I knew I was going to be late and they did not appear as if they wanted to service me. If he would have been customer service friendly I would have told him based on my service warranty contract I could bring me car to any license mechanic shop. I CHOOSED this dealership because it was closed while going on my way to work. Needless to say this place was a waste of time and they lost out on business. I have a 2015 Honda Odyssey. Classic Honda has been my service provider for the last three years. One month ago, I had my car serviced for an engine light after stalling. I was told by the service advisor that my battery died as well. It was coded as a misfire, and the issue was diagnosed as my piston rings. I was charged $4300 for the repair. Less than 30 days and 400 miles later, the light reappeared. The second time it was diagnosed as a bad battery, I replaced the battery. I asked the service advisor Josh if my alternator was checked. He advised me it was and explained that it held at 12 volts. The same day, the light reappeared. The third time, it was diagnosed as my alternator, and he stated that I had oil leaking on the alternator. I attempted to resolve the issue with Josh, Classic Honda service representative, and he advised me that an alternator does not cause a misfire( which is untruthful). "Modern vehicles require a steady electrical current of specific voltage in order to run properly. The engine's computer, ignition system, fuel system and emissions system all rely on electricity supplied by the alternator to operate correctly. Drops in electrical output from a failing alternator can cause these systems to malfunction, leading to a poorly running engine. Oh my Gosh! This place was horrible. The Gm will not listen to customers or Employees. They blast you out with the loudest awful music. The guy at the front door tried to speak with me. I told him I can not hear you. He said I know. Then a girl comes up I asked her 3 times if she was Brittney. She could not hear me. Finally they get Brittney. We had to go outside to talk. Again she agreed it was too loud. I waited outside for the salesman. After we went back in they said they asked to have the music down. They might have lowered it a decimal. We just bought a car from here a month ago, so we went in for our first oil change. We were told it was free. I signed an agreement saying we would pay $0. After waiting an hour and a half, we finally found someone to ask about what was going on. They said that we had a nail in the tire and it was unpachable. We agreed (verbally) to pay $140 for the new one. The rep who knew what was going on, without saying a word, went to lunch and left us there. We waited 4 HOURS before they were done and were charged over $230...... we ended up getting the tire for $140 after speaking with the manager and standing our ground. Worst service. I have always been the sort of girl who does not get her car serviced at a dealer, but after purchasing my first NEW car, I thought I'd give it a try. I did not purchase my Honda at Classic, but since this location is closer to my house, I gave them a try for my oil change and routine maintenance. This is the type of spot that made me think, "why haven't I been doing this all along?". In both of my latest experiences, service was friendly, relatively quick, and not crazy expensive. Although you'll likely wait an hour for an oil change, there is a comfortable waiting area with coffee, a snack cart, and speedy WiFi so I could continue with my work day. I've never had issues scheduling an appointment when it's convenient for me. Prices are a bit more expensive than the quick-service oil changes, but I appreciate the quality and feel a bit better knowing I won't be on the side of the road a day later because the service guy didn't screw on my coolant cap (true story). I'll be back for routine maintenance and hopefully won't have any issues here if my vehicle needs additional servicing. read more

I purchased my car at this dealership and went back for a recall software upgrade. They damaged my car in their garage. I brought it back twice for them to repair. On the second visit my battery was dead after I got the car back to my office. The staff was listening to my radio (a station I would never listen to) which drained the charge and left me stranded at my work place at the time their dealership was closing that day. The Service Manager advised they would reimburse me for a new battery since it was too late for me to get a tow back to their dealership. I also asked for touch up paint to I could fill in the nicks for the repairs they completed. Several calls, voice mails and even calls to the General Manger have gone unanswered. Crickets. It's been two months. I will never let them touch my vehicle again. read more

I bought a brand new 2022 Honda Passport from Classic Honda. My alignment was off when I bought it. My car was pulling to the right so I took it in they said they fixed it. As soon as I drove off I turned right back around because my car was not fixed. They took it back in the second time and showed me the alignment was off. We test drove it before I left and the guy told me it was the road and to drive it for a few days to see the difference. The car still wasn't fixed. Ended up coming back a few months later to try again with the alignment. I was told there was nothing wrong and the car is supposed to drift to the right. Car was there for 4 business days and was told they had 5 guys drive it and nothing is wrong. I drove straight to Holler Honda on 436. Holler Honda fixed my car within a few hours. If you have problems with your car go to Holler Honda! They were so helpful and actually cared. read more
