Best seafood boil ever! The baked oysters are seriously awesome and the drinks come in fun little pouches. All the seafood is always consistency cooked perfectly and seasoned right. The kind crab was so tender and delicious this place is worth every penny. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. I've celebrated a few birthdays here with family and big parties and they were very accommodating. You will not be disappointed

I was in the area and I passed by this billboard for their happy hour deal. I had to check it out. My friend and I went inside to inquire about it and the person working said that it will be honored all night. So, we were happy as there was no cut off time that was on the sign. We got seated right away and we took our time ordering. Once we ordered everything came out but some took awhile. Overall, it was very filling. If you come for the happy hour meal, this is a great deal.

Sub-par in every way. Ate there a couple years ago and it was great so my daughter took me there for Father's Day. I got lobster which was fine, but the clams were inedible because they were overcooked. Even though there were only three tables with customers, I had to ask several times for a second pair of sheers. The waiter finally brought them after I was done eating. Also, there was only one cracker and no picks at the table. They were generous enough to give us two plastic forks though. My daughter was having crab legs and we had to share one set of utensils. How do you run a restaurant like that?

Th service was good. I ordered the alligator and chargrilled oysters. Oysters were good, alligator was tiny and didn't taste like much. My friend ordered the lobster roll. It has plenty lobster and tasted okay. The shrimp ehh I'd give the shrimp a 2/5. I can't remember which adult Capri Sun I had but it was good and strong. Ambiance was cool, I liked the music they played. It was pretty dark inside though. You can't really tell if it's open from the outside.

Came here with a group of friends for a birthday dinner and it was actually a very nice experience. The service was great; the ambiance was a little loud but not chaotic. I ordered their capri sun drinks which was their twisted peach ice tea. It was not too sweet and the right amount of strong liquor. When I checked in, I was able to order a free side so I ordered their Brussel sprouts to enjoy with half a pound of shrimp and half a pound of mussels with their claw daddy special sauce (mild). I was a bit disappointed that the food came in a small pot instead of in a bag, I feel like the bag preserves the sauce and the flavor. The mussels and shrimp was very good but the Brussels sprouts were definitely the winner of the whole meal. They were roasted and just melted in your mouth. I would return if I'm in the area.

I've been here many times and the service is always great and the waiters are always friendly. The happy hour appetizers are great and the drinks are usually strong. However I came on a Tuesday night and I had one of my worst experiences dining out in a very long time. We ordered some drinks and appetizers for happy hour. I ordered a cocktail and my friend ordered a mock tail When the drinks came out, after all our food mind you, they were both mock tails. We spoke with our waitress tiamara, she began to argue with us. I've never had a waitress argue and gaslight me about what I ordered and basically made up a conversation in her head about what happened. She insisted that she asked us whether or not they were both mock tails but she never asked us about that. I've been going here for years, before and during covid. But If this is how the wait staff is trained to handle a situation like this, then I will not return to this establishment. It would've been so easy to not ruin someone's dinner by arguing with us. The service here used to be great and the food was great too. But it has clearly gone down hill. Tiamara was whispering to all the waiters and no one came to check on us and she made our experience super awkward the rest of the night, The food was good and they oysters are fresh, I guess. But if you want to be yelled at and gaslit for your order this is the place to go. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area where you don't have to be yelled at for your waiter messing up your drink order.

Secret drink that's really delicious, but I had too many and can't recall the name

So I really, really, really was craving oysters and ended up last week at Claw Daddy's for happy hour. I started with a Moscow Mule capri sun drink that was on the menu, grilled oysters and the crawfish queso. The oysters were a little disappointing in their lack of meatiness... not sure if that was because they were offered at happy hour? The crawfish queso was better, but needed some spice, and the drink was too sweet. So this sexy guy seated near me at the bar suggested that I have an off-the-menu drink, which I cannot remember the name of because he bought me several lol, but it and our bartender, Ryan were priceless. The sexy silver fox buys me wings, and gator bites... enjoyable, crispy wings. I tried to like the alligator bites, but I wasn't excited and decided that they were just okay. The happy hour vibe was chill, and I enjoyed the off-the-menu drink, but I was not impressed by the oysters, which is the main reason I went to Claw Daddy's. I am hoping that the rest of the menu is as great as those chicken wings.

I just went in right around Happy Hour time. I know this place is known for b their crab legs, but I just wanted their crab cake Fritters and a Capri Sun with soju. Both very delicious. Very nice bartender. The place is spacious and looks like a fun spot.

Is this a good place for a birthday dinner?

    Yes social distance in effect!

For the Claw Feast special, can we pay for 4 people and have only 3 people eat it?

Yes. The last time I had the feast it was 3 people dining but we still paid the 4 people price. Things may have changed but I suggest giving a call in advance.

What time is happy hour from during covid?

    Open to 6:30pm

Is there a covid fee charge?

    Nope

Are you still doing the feast? It was Wednesday, sat and Sunday

    Nope :(

Is happy hour at the bar only?

    No!

Do you have any birthday specials?

    Nope.

How much is Lobster and king crab legs cost now? Can I order it by pounds or they will give you a specific amount?(like one side of the crab leg)

It's Market Price you can order by the pound

What time is happy hour from?

Everyday from open until 7:30 Pm!

Are the seafood combinations still available? For example the snow crab and shrimp.

Yes they are! When I went there I got the shrimp and lobster, absolutely delicious!

Do not think so. This might not be the place for you

How much are the king crab legs?

    $45 i believe

Is there a full bar or just the beer and the Capri suns?

They have other alcoholic drinks you can order.

Can you order the feast on Fridays?

    No. Weds, Sat, Sun only

When is happy hour for here?

    Everyday 12-7pm

Is the menu for manhattan similar to the Brooklyn because i saw here that they do have fountain drinks for un-alcoholic drinkers. This may be dumb question, just want to be sure?

yes they offer non-alcoholic drinks. :)

Cancelling my reservation for tonight! Need to update the phone number listed?

Hi Thomas, Thank you for updating us about the reservation.

Can just two people come in and have regular menus or is this only a feasting restaurant? Also, i want to come here for me and my friends birthday. We're 16&17 is there any age restrictions?

Yes there is a regular menu so you can order individual items like the clams and oysters raw or grilled, different sides like Mac and cheese etc and do the shrimp, clams, crab by the pound as well. Each pound of the seafood with the different sauces…

Can you order for take out?

    Yes!

Are grilled oysters served other than happy hour? If so how much?

    I believe $2-3 more dollars

(I would say 5 or 6 ppl max) We were a group of 4 and they were very accommodating when I had to call and change the reservation a couple times I really liked the vibes in the restaurant , it was very cozy and i loved the art on their walls. it's a very interesting concept of korean and NOLA-style cuisine. We ordered à la carte , we did the hushpuppies and the fried chicken thighs ($68 for 5 thighs) that come with 2 sides (watermelon salad and kimchi green tomatoes) & the green tomatoes were my personal favorite- very flavorful and crispy! We decided to the set menu where you get to chose an assortment of sides and mains. We decided on watermelon salad, okra kimchi and potato salad for our sides. The watermelon kimchi and the okra really stood out. The sauce of the watermelon was fresh, light and full of flavor. While the okra was crunchy and not too slimey. We also went with the blackened catfish, and japchae balls. Both of which were solid! For our mains we did the crab curry, the fried chicken, and the brisket with grits. The chicken was battered to perfection, it was airy and not too heavy. The grits were done beautifully, the texture wasn't overly wet and mushy! Normally not a grits gal but it was sooo good. Some of the pieces of meat were rendered while some were a bit tough. The staff even threw in cornbread for our table which was very sweet! The crab curry had a very seafood front flavor, trust you knew crab was in that curry. We ended with both desserts the yakault drink being a crowd favorite!

The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. It's a smaller space, but everything was spotless. Our hostess was incredibly friendly and seemed to be doing it all seating guests, making cocktails, checking in on tables, and even folding napkins and prepping utensils for the next customers. She never missed a beat. Since it was Restaurant Week, they were offering a $60 seafood boil special that included an appetizer, a boil, and dessert. My date and I decided to share everything, so we ordered the Cajun spaghetti and the Restaurant Week boil, adding a whole lobster for an extra $20. We also ordered drinks. I had the Raspberry Martini, and he had the Clawlatta, their take on a piña colada. Both cocktails were beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. Even though there were only two of us, our waiter pulled another table over so we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the full seafood boil experience. It was a thoughtful touch that we appreciated. The Cajun spaghetti came out first, and it was delicious. It had a rich, flavorful sauce with a nice kick of spice that lingered at the end without being overwhelming. Then... came the BOIL!! I ordered the garlic butter seasoning with mild spice. The bag arrived piping hot, filled with plenty of shrimp, the whole lobster, potatoes, and lots of flavorful buttery broth. Everything was fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. It was messy in the best way and absolutely delicious. When we first arrived, there was only one other occupied table. By the time we left, the restaurant had filled up with several larger groups, yet the service and attention to us, was consistent. Every dish came out hot and savory, the hostess and waiter remained attentive throughout our meal, our water glasses were never empty, and the overall hospitality was excellent. Including drinks, the lobster upgrade, tax, and tip, our total came to about $175 for two people. Considering the quality of the food, generous portions, drinks, and outstanding service, I thought it was well worth it. I would definitely come back.

Amazing food, vibe and service!…read more Since I knew we would be in the city Sunday and would probably want to brunch before the concert that night, I looked up a bunch of places and this one kept catching my eye. We almost wouldn't have been able to go because I waited until that day to make reservations and it seemed like they were all booked up. But luckily, my boyfriend had a great idea to call to see if anything was available. Although I was only communicating with an automated system/ai rep, it was able to find reservations for 1:45. We took it and it was worth the wait! This is a very cute spot in Tribeca. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted, checked in for our reservation and seated immediately. Walking up, there is a little outdoor covered seating section that is set on the street next to the sidewalk. Inside, there was a jazz trio performing to the right when you first walk in. As we headed and got to our seats, we saw that behind the bar/counter seating they had the flattop cooking station so you could see the chefs preparing all the food; the bar was also in that area. We knew beforehand about the unlimited drinks option so we of course went with that - $36/person and had like 4 different brunch drink options you can rotate through over the 90 minutes. Our server came over pretty quickly to introduce herself and get our initial order. I was hoping to try out the Biscuits & Cajun Crab Gravy but they ran out of biscuits, so I ended up ordering the Chicken & Beignets instead. Boyfriend went with the Shrimp and Tasso Country Grits. Omg... Everything was delicious! Chicken had the perfect crisp and cook, beignets baked just right so they were soft and well complimented with the blueberry compote. And I had a bit of the grits - so creamy, perfect texture with a unique yet satisfying flavor with the sauce. Could kind of taste the coffee but also felt like there was something like a hint of curry or something in that red sauce - it was very good! Highly recommend checking this place out (make reservations for the weekend!). Because there are more things on this menu we would want to try, we said we have to try to come back very soon

Everyone had something nice to say about our experience here, and to this day I still remember reheating my jambalaya the next morning and having a satisfying breakfast. On my most recent visit to the city last month, I brought my girlfriend--and this place still stands up. The staff is attentive and patient, with helpful suggestions and personable service. The drinks are exciting. And most of all, the food is delicious and, in authentic Nola style, is served in generous portions at a fair price. Probably not a Michelin-worthy fine dining experience, but--and I do not throw this term around a lot on this app--I LOVE this restaurant. Catch me back here every time I'm in New York.

It was all of our first time - we all enjoyed the decor and ambiance. We drank at the bar before being seated - drinks were good, customer service from the staff at the bar was great, very personable and attentive. Once seated at our table we ordered appetizers, crab dip & pretzel bites, and the muffuletta flatbread - presentation, size, flavor 10/10 delicious. Entrees - blackened Sesame Salmon was just okay and dry. Crispy roasted French chicken, didn't have any flavor - the chicken was just okay, the green beans had bacon in it that tasted overcooked, I almost didn't recognize that it was bacon. There was no cream, fat, or richness to these entrees that I expected to get from a New Orleans styled restaurant. The appetizers were better than the entrees. There was no weight, or layered flavors to the dishes. I almost feel like this was more of the restaurant catering to the audience, instead of staying true to what it was designed for. As the time passed the environment became less alluring and felt more like a chain - the music was some awful top 10 If the restaurant stayed true to the website it could have been the cutest experience to stumble upon. I would only come back if I was in the area and wanted a familiar experience and a drink, I wouldn't do what I did and make an event out of it with friends
