I changed my mind in the color and they were responsive and quickly sent over new paperwork. They texted and emailed to confirm installation date and called 1/2 before arrival. Install crew was 3 people did upstairs 3 bedrooms hallways and closets, stairs going up and down both with turns. Basement was large living room- really 2 rooms and a bedroom with closet. Moved all furniture and put it back in the correct place. They were there from 8-3 all done and cleaned up! Some potential drawbacks-Their Plush style carpets were polyester but in todays world I don't think that has the same drawbacks it used to. I did feel a little pressured to make a decision while he was there in my house, right after measuring. When I changed my mind they were a little hesitant to allow me to take carpet samples from showroom back to my house. Moving the nick-knacks and books to a lot of time, they offered to come earlier than original schedule but I wasn't ready. (Not a knock against them just an FYI, if you have stuff in the floors of your closets or lots of shelves) PS for a variety of reasons I don't plan to use them for my LVP.

Floating floors need to expand and contract and are not designed to be glued down. This now voids the product's warranty and makes it harder and more expensive for a different company to fix their work. Floor began to crack within 6 months and company refused to repair the damage. Poor communication and poor workmanship. They will not back up their work if the floor fails-stay far away from this company to avoid future headaches.

The quote I have received from my local "big box" retailer is $30.00 per square yard. Unfortunately L & L feels the carpet I want is worth $50.00 per square yard, and I was born last night. Now I am going to have to choose carpet in which will live in my house for 7 days as I am going to rip it all out and replace it with the carpet I want at $30.00 per square yard. It is disgusting that companies think they can absolutely take advantage of you when you are dealing with a builder. I emailed the company with my concerns and was extremely impressed with their response. Their main office replied that same evening, and Kevin, the owner, personally contacted me and arranged to come out the following day. He walked through the home with me, came prepared to address anything I wasn't satisfied with, refreshed every area I pointed out, and even repaired the wood where the equipment had caused the scraping. Kevin was professional, personable, and genuinely cared about the quality of the work and making sure I was happy with the final result.
