I had my Volvo bumper partially pulled off years ago and went to the dealer. They "fixed" it, but it popped out again a few weeks later. Clinton Collision fixed it for short money and it's held for a couple of years ago. 4. Helpful but not pushy. When I returned, the guy who was to fix the problem had an indifferent attitude to my situation, did something with a handheld device and said the problem was resolved. When I got in the car, it wasn't. The owner suggested that I drive the car and it will go away, which I insisted that I wasn't going to do. He also suggested I give his employee extra money as a tip and rushing me to get out so that other vehicles can get in to be serviced (It's a small service area). I insisted that the situation had to be resolved before leaving, but I will not patronize that business again. I will resume going to the Audi dealership where I usually go. I don't like poor service and being hustled for money when I already paid for a service and the technicians created a service problem that wasn't there before.

Took car in for nys inspection and asked how long will it take? before looking at the car the…read moreperson who greeted me in the empty garage on a Friday afternoon said they need to do a full inspection and IF the car passes inspection he would call me I asked a different way , I said well seems a little slow how long if you do the inspection right now the test usually takes 15 mins or less again his response was if you pass inspection. This seemed very odd to me and gave me a different feeling like he knew something that he couldn't have know. Long story short they failed my car And quoted me $600 for back brake pads because they were low and a passenger side mirror crack. I took my car to my usual mechanic who is generally extremely busy, which is why I did not go to him for the inspection. My usual mechanic said my brake pads are low, but not low enough to fail me. They would have to be metal on metal to fail the test and as far as the side passenger mirror, I had one in my car so I had him fix my brakes because they were low anyway, and it was $200 for the front and back not 450 for just the back. Prospect auto repair is a rip off. I go to a nice man on 65th St. between 13th and 14th Ave. please check them out. There's also another very good one on 35th St. and third Avenue.
