These guys really helped me out! I was planning a move from Irvine to Redondo Beach and hired these guys to move some of the bulkier items that I couldn't carry. I mentioned the basic items that needed to be moved, and we moved everything in a very efficient manner. We shrink wrapped some items and other items were covered in a padded material. TL;DR: Much better pricing with this company (for my small job) than all of the other companies I contacted ----------------------- So, five easy, breezy stars for Julian & his company. I submitted a request for a quote for a small job out to seven moving companies and julian's price blew the rest out of the water. This is because it seems as though he doesn't charge for a 3-hour minimum like most other companies - it was just a simple flat rate (which also tells me that he took the time to read through my message as opposed to companies that send a canned reply to any and all requests). I would highly recommend this crew! Julian and Jeremy helped me move out of a 1 bedroom apartment located on the 3rd floor with no elevator and into a new apartment on the 2nd floor also no elevator. My husband and I used this moving company 3 years ago when we first moved into our rental and decided to use them again. Julian was quick to respond when we reached out for a quote and their prices were reasonable. Booking was super easy, just needed a deposit to save the day. Day of, our movers Carlos and Chris came within the time frame stated and quickly started. I do wish they were a little more careful with some boxes as our dog's food bowl did break during the move, but we definitely should've labeled it fragile for them. There was a bit of an issue getting our fridge in since we didn't measure the dimensions of the doorway properly, but their quick thinking and experience got it through. Hiring Clean & Careful to move my one bedroom apartment was the best decision I have made in a long time. This was my first experience hiring a mover and I'll detail it below. In the past I have always moved with the help of my parents or friends and done it myself. Everytime I have thought of hiring movers I start reading horror stories of movers taking advantage of customers and get too sketched out. This time I decided to reach out and get a few quotes from movers on yelp. Clean & Careful seemed like the most reasonable price without all the gimmicks and charges the other movers put in the quote. After talking with Julian I knew that Clean & Careful was the right choice. He told me to box everything up and he would take it from there. I went and bought moving boxes from walmart and spent some free time boxing up my apartment waiting until move day. When move day came Julian texted me in the morning and let me know exactly when he would arrive. He kept me informed of his ETA which gave me some peace of mind. Julian and Albert arrived and immediately went to work. They worked efficiently and carefully, making sure to wrap things and even used their own blankets and material with no questions asked. I was planning to move my closet by just grabbing the hangers and taking things piece by piece. Julian saw me and brought up a wardrobe box! It was such a nice little perk to help me move everything in one go. Just thinking back about the move makes me happy because of how easy and non stressful it was. This is absolutely the best and most amazing moving experience I have ever had. After helping 2 other friends move earlier this year I gave up on moving my own apartment. I hated moving all day and not being able to know what time in the evening a move could be completed and what is the best way to pack to make sure we make only one trip. This time around I was moving from OC to Santa Monica and I didn't want to push my luck. I reached out to Julian, who was super helpful and walked me through every set of the way. It was a 2 man move team and they arrived 8:30 AM and the move was completed by 12:30 including an hour and half of commute from OC to SM. Some of the things I really liked were: -Very straightforward and transparent with pricing up front and did not charge extra for credit card v. cash -No double back fee were charged for the driving portion, I was charged a flat $70 transportation for the drive from OC to SM -Wrapped all furniture with moving cloth. This was the worst moving experience ever. I would never recommend clean and clear moving to anyone. First off, I was originally quoted 9-10am eta which was Fine at the later time but then Julian and coworker didn't arrive until almost 11 am and it just got worse from there. The first question asked was if I had water by coworker and Julian looked at my apt and said it's not doable to move from my 1 bedroom apt in 2 hours and it would take 2 just to pack and honestly he didn't even bother to try to pack and move my stuff in a timely manner when I pre packed and organized stuff to be loaded on the truck. Mind you I hired movers once before when I moved from Riverside and we moved everything in 3 hours plus the commute!! The only negative part was the disorganization but everything made it! 5 hours later I'm still moving my apt on my own because they only use dolleys to move and mostly moved things I packed in boxes. Yes it takes less space then the big box on rollers but it takes more time with slow people. Also, I know my kitchen is a big task which is why I hired movers otherwise I would've done it myself and now end up doing it myself! After loading up, Julian called me at 1pm and informed me he and his coworker are taking "15 min break" off the clock and didn't meet me until 1:40pm ish. When I told him I would only be paying for 3 hours and not 3.5-4 hours he is quoting me after his "break" he blamed me and basically said if money is an issue then you should've said something first and that I only had 10% of the apt packed. First of all money is not an issue. The issue I have is with you doing a lousy job and not even really trying. How I know is the place has been packed before from fucking Riverside in 3 hours. The 1 wardrobe box you brought was left in the bedroom for the longest time and then moved into the living room where I HAD to load up because you didn't and I'm sure wouldn't. After this nonsense and probably seeing how pissed I was he and his co worker dropped off my stuff in 20 minutes but yeah "it's not doable." No YOU just can't do it and shouldn't have said "OK" to the job when you can't. I should've hired somebody else. read more

We recently utilized Julian when we moved again this year at the end of May. He was able to book us a month in advance, for the Sunday before memorial day which was really flexible. Our move this time took all day, 10 hours, but everything was moved from our old place to the new place! Nothing was left behind and it was all of it was moved with care. Items were wrapped up and protected before moved so again zero damage to all of our stuff. Again, no hidden fees. $80 down payment to hold the date, which is subtracted from the total amount at the end. $80 an hour plus any materials used. Its super cheap though, like $40-50 for everything they used which was a bunch of stuff including several boxes. I highly recommend Julian and his crew. They really are the best. read more
