This review is provided after my fiancé and I utilized Konstantin and Orange Coast Movers twice, once in July 2024 in a move from Downtown Los Angeles to Orange County and most recently in local move occurring in July 2026. Their competitive rates were explained in a straightforward fashion with no surprises and/or hidden fees. In both moves Konstantin was easily accessible and detail oriented in his explanations about the process, expectations as to the scope of their services, and even provided tips for us to assist in our moves. Their team was top notch akin to watching a Formula one/NASCAR pit crew perform complex repairs during a race as they packed and unpacked items. However, they maintained a respect for all of our items, even the more fragile ones and thus balancing skill and speed all at once. I am truly grateful to Konstantin and the Orange Coast team as they alleviated a monumental amount of stress that moving typically creates. This peace of mind allowed us to focus on other things typically involved in moving to a new apartment and/or escrow process and make informed decisions in other avenues. I hired this company to move a two-bedroom apartment. Before the move, I spoke directly with the owner, who told me that based on what I described, it would probably be about a half-day job. Only one bedroom had a bed, and the second bedroom just had a futon, so that seemed like a reasonable estimate. When the movers arrived, one of them worked at a normal pace, but the other moved incredibly slowly. What should have been a half-day move turned into a 13-hour job, and I was billed for every hour. To be fair, they did hit some traffic on the drive to the next city, but the final bill still ended up being more than double what the owner had led me to expect. If you're considering hiring this company, I strongly recommend getting a fixed, upfront price instead of paying by the hour. Based on my experience, the crew worked very slowly, took frequent breaks, and even went to lunch while still on the clock. My fiancé and I moved in together 4 years ago with what felt like nothing and this year when we went to move we were like OH, we've got a lot of stuff... we're going to need LEGIT movers. I called, got a quote for a great price, scheduled a day and they showed up! Everything was handled with great care and the crew was super efficient. Do not waste your time! Be careful they are not professionals. Two points: 1. It is not a professional company, they seem cheap at first but in addition to mistreating your belongings during the move, if they can they triple the final price. 2. Our bed was damaged, as a result, poorly assembled, and after some time (next day), one heavy part just fell on my leg and broke a finger. S-H-A-D-Y Called Konstantine to schedule a move. He was quick and told me he would text me with information he needed - see screen shot. I replied almost immediately with the information and was expecting an email confirmation "that night" as he mentioned. Well here we are, 2 days away from the move and all text messages were not "delivered." Turns out my number was blocked as I've called and it only goes straight to voicemail. I emailed to which my email was "read" thanks to my work email tracker and got no response again. Avoid this company - now we are scrambling to find another company to move us within 48 hours. Called from another number and it rang as normal and sent a message via my MacBook to which it was delivered from my email and still no response. This was the absolute worst moving experience of all time. The crew was late, sloppy, unconcerned, and could care less about my furnishings. Glasses were put in boxes with no padding, and of course, broke. My furniture was stained and damaged. There was no inventory, and everything was just tossed in their van. Then they stacked it so high all the boxes crushed. Complete amateurs. Nothing good about this place at all. Stay far far away. read more

I had the worst crew. It was a 6 mile move from a 700 sq ft 1 bedroom with 30 boxes, a bedroom set and a couple of art pieces. They broke my art which is irreplaceable. They said (after I physically saw they were all packed up) that they'd be right behind me. An hour and a half later they showed up. It's a 15 minute drive. Had they not pulled shady shit and broken my stuff and oh yeah left stuff behind because oh hey you're moving you don't want or need all your stuff right, I'd have given them the $150 cash I had for tips. Instead I now have to go back to the old place and find it the stuff they left and see if an artist can recreate a rare work. 10/10 wouldn't use them again and am actively telling people not to use them. read more

This is a great crew. Orange Coast Movers were fast and carefull with all my things. Originally we wanted to do this by ourselves, but last minute desided to call them and order a service. I am glad they mived us. Movers brouhgt tons of blankets and wrapped entire furniture, which i did not think i needed, but after watching them, it was super helpfull. Hands down best movers in OC. I've had a few bad moves over the last decade, and this was NOT one of them. Vlad, Brad and Camron were beyond 5 stars. Konstantin has done a great job putting together a team of World's Strongest Man competitors. One box was never enough. I think there was a 50 lb minimum per trip down the stairs. A warning to the insecure, you will become more self-conscious as the day progresses. I definitely need to dust off that gym membership, STAT. PCH is quick when it comes to moving, but very thorough in protecting the movables. Plenty of blankets and they spared no expense when it came to shrink wrap. My sofas looked like Dexter was ready to send them to meet their fabricators. And while it was a terrible day to move (thanks to the rain), these guys didn't mind, or at least they didn't complain. I thought it was going to take all day, but PCH got everything done in just over 4 hours, including a couple very challenging over-the-balcony sofa drops (see action pics). So don't make the mistake of hiring a bunch of clumsy girly men to damage your valuables. Leave it to these guys. The heavier the better. For them, it's just training. read more

I wanted to update my previous review. Yesterday Konstantine called me and said I have two options, he can cut a check for the $.60 to the lb (which he said would be around $40 but I called Ikea and based off their weight it should have been $80) or he could get the piece and replace it. I truly did not want his money, just a functioning proper looking dresser. Therefore I took the second option. He came by this morning, took the part, went to Ikea and replaced it. Christian, Misha, and Diego showed up on time and worked their fannies off for almost 12 hours! They were courteous, professional, and personable to me and my daughter. They were careful - of our wood floors at the "old" house and "new" house and of our furniture, artwork, and (many, many) indoor and outdoor plants. We have a large, very heavy 6' tall sculpture that they cautiously and efficiently moved. There was an additional fee for the sculpture and we thought it was justified. I would highly recommend this company and crew because of their hard work ethic, patient dispositions, and high level of care. read more

Do not trust these people. I read the good reviews and I believed I was hiring a professional company. First of all this is not a company with hired drivers. These drivers have their own trucks and the guy Konstantin (supposedly the owner) send them all over the place under the name of Orange Coast Movers. They seem to gather at the back of the Life Storage and then he give them jobs. I hired these people with the assumption that the company will be responsible for them but that's not true. I needed to move in two phases and two days. The first crew who were two Latinos, were good, wrapped and protected my items but broke my TV accidentally. They promised to replace my 8 month old top of the line TV. Since they seemed to be honest and caring, I asked Konstantin to send them back and waited two days to get the same people. On that day he sent two new guys and the nightmare started. These guys stole various items including my new chandelier that I bought for my new place. The white driver who was supposed to follow me to my house which is in a gated community, ran away twice and even Konstantin couldn't control him. He didn't wrap anything and damaged a lot of my furniture. He was very intimidating and I just wanted him to leave my house. He also brought an old model TV as replacement for mine. This one never worked properly and I had to buy a new one. All through this ordeal it was very hard to get hold of Konstantin. I am just grateful that I didn't have a heart attach that day. After all this, if you still decide to use these people, be careful, read the contract and insurance policy very carefully and have friends help you to check your items for damages and also watch they don't steal from you. Tons of moving pieces here, we had to pack it all and as many women can understand that all my supplies are very valuable to me. I needed to do a local move on short notice and the movers I had in mind had no availability so they recommended I contact Orange Coast Movers. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate me for an afternoon move which was fine with me. I spent what few days I had to pack and prep everything so that their job would be easier. I got a call on the day of the move from the driver around the agreed upon time letting me know when they would arrive. Three guys showed up with a large truck ready to go. The driver explained the details to me and let me go over what I wanted moved and how. After that they started work right away. They kept up a quick pace while taking the time to wrap my furniture and handle it carefully. They disassembled my bed and lamps so they wouldn't get damaged. Everything from my 2 bedroom apartment was in the truck in about a little over an hour. When they got to my new apartment the actually brought in almost everything through the balcony so they were able to unload very quickly. They treated all my belongings with care and made sure to ask me where I wanted everything to go. Before I knew it, all the furniture was unwrapped and everything was in place with no damage. Furniture was reassembled, and they cleaned up after themselves. All in all, I great quality for the price - would definitely repeat again! Used these guys to move from Fullerton to Brea. It was a hot day and my new home has three stories. Did these guys ever once complain? No! I was amazed that they kept up positive attitudes and always had a smile on their face! I was worried that they wouldn't be able to get my bed upstairs due to the sprinklers but they found a solution and I was able to rest easy in my bed that night! Great company! I initially spoke with Konstantin who was quick to respond both to my call and follow up text messages. Move in day was great. I had Arthur and Max show up. Two awesome Russian guys who did work! I have a ton of heavy furniture they disassembled and assembled for me in my new place. About 6 hours for a large 800 sq. ft. 1 bedroom fully furnished (three couches, TV, entryway table, coffee table, dresser, bed, nightstand, kitchen shelves, bookshelves (3), end tables, etc.). They also boxed my entire wardrobe on hangers as was - so easy to unpack and place into closets. $85 an hour cash aint bad for all they did!! Would definitely use them again! Update 2- we decided we did not want any of these movers coming back and having access to our furniture after what they did to it (on purpose) during the move. Konstantin never called on the day we agreed anyway. I am filing a complaint with the state. I have recieved several direct messages from people going through the same thing. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU LIKE YOUR STUFF. So bad they changed their name. Update 1- I spoke with Konstantin and he refuses to pay for the damage done by his employees. He also had nothing to say about the fact that his guys claimed I had 3 guys helping them when that most certainly did not occur. He has offered to have one of the guys come out and attempt to fix my stuff. I hesitantly accepted but honestly don't really want to see any of those movers again let alone spend hours together in my home. I will update this review again later. DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS unless you like paying people to break your furniture. They ruined almost all of our furniture. But, because they didn't have time to set it up and everything was piled in the garage, I signed all their paper work and they left. Upon inspection later I found that not only had they scraped and dinged most of our belongings but they also BROKE OFF A TABLE LEG AND NAILED IT BACK ON. See photos. After we got to my new house they attempted to re-assemble another table of ours straight on our hardwood floors and dropped it scuffing the floors badly. They scraped up my baby's white crib on all sides. Ruined the frame of serveral of my mirrors. Dinged a bed frame badly. Broke a sofa leg. Didn't re-assemble my bed because they were late for another job and lost some of the hardware so now I can't do it. Moving is so stressful, we paid 833 dollars for 3 movers for 7 hours and still had to move a lot of our stuff by ourselves. We do have a lot of things but if the job was too big for them they should have made that assessment when they arrived and requested another guy on the job. I brought my concerns to KONSTANTIN and he admitted they damaged a stool (we don't have stools) and then tried to claim stuff got damaged because we had "three guys helping the movers". Um, if I had three guys to help me move would I hire movers!? WTF. So now they won't pick up my calls. DON'T MAKE MOVING WORSE THAN IT NEEDS TO BE. DO NOT HIRE PCH MOVERS! read more

The worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Showed up to move our place and decided it was too much work. Told us we needed to increase from 3 guys to 4, which we agreed to. They then quit the job leaving us without a mover and scrambling to find a replacement because they decided our freight elevator was too small for our furniture. This is the same freight elevator that was used to get the furniture up to the unit.. when pressed on the freight elevator issue they then told us the walk from the elevator to their truck was too far.. mind you their truck was parked less than 50' from the freight elevator. if I could give Zero stars I would. Months after the fact, Konstantin and his crew remain the bright spot in an incredibly difficult, traumatic move. We were relocating cross-country, and Konstantin was pleasant and responsive when we reached out to him on recommendation from other movers who couldn't accommodate our window. He quoted a reasonable rate, and we agreed on the unload date. When our moving truck broke down in the middle of the desert, we were delayed by a day. I called to explain the situation, and Konstantin was very understanding. He juggled his schedule, despite how disruptive it was, and scheduled a new crew for us on the next day. There was a cost change (completely reasonable under the circumstances) and he communicated this clearly and professionally so we were completely on board with it. Then, to top things off, our moving crew showed up *on time* to unload the truck on the new day, and had the entire 24' truck unloaded in four hours. Folks, we have a LOT of stuff. Books, collectibles, knickknacks, pictures, camping supplies ... just stuff. Plus, we'd had to switch trucks, so the previously orderly load job was now total chaos. The crew made short work of it, and even had us laughing. They were friendly, fast, professional, and careful. We were charged exactly what they said--not a penny more--and they even helped us wrangle the truck and tow trailer so we could safely back out of our narrow, crowded street to return the truck. Great service is one thing. Great *people* are something else entirely. This is the kind of service you only get when people care about you, not just your money. I hope to never move again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to trust Konstantin and his crews. read more

UPDATE: They sent me a check for 60 cents per pound for the item. So, a $1,000 chair I got a check for like $30. And still have a broken chair. My hubby will be trying to fix it himself. They were nice and did know how unhappy I was w/my experience (they asked me to take down my review, and I said "no, I'd update it w/the outcome") and they included a gift card w/the check, which was a nice sentiment, so I am updating my review to reflect the recent events. If you do use them, be sure to buy a better insurance policy instead of waiving the right to do so. Original review: I'll start with the positives: They showed up each time they were supposed to - moving day, and for their estimate appointment. They confirmed the move day appointment a day prior - kudos for that! The drivers called the day of the move, to tell me they were about 15min out from my house. Moving day was great! I started unpacking, and 2 days later discovered a broken item. I contacted them, and they guys who work in the office had the guy who moved me text me about coming out to repair it himself. I thought 'wow this is fantastic'. When he texted me, he was like "I don't want to, can I just buy you a new one". I told him what it was (a Herman Miller office chair) and he got very unprofessional (making comments about how its 'funny how some expensive chair was the only thing to break' and how 'I can afford it, I have a job'). At this point I was like screw this, and called the office back to go about filing a claim on the item. I was told by the office that with the standard insurance, I'd only get .60/lb of the item. I originally called a well known business ran by college athletes (they who shall not be named, but starts with meathead and ends with something that rhymes with ooovers) quoted me a blasphemous amount of money, then I took it to yelp and boy did it pay off! I called Constantine at Orange Coast Movers two weeks ago. I was dreading the prospect of moving and whatever the cost it would have been worth avoiding the stress with my wife and baby. Orange Coast gave me a ball park figure that was better than I expected. At 10am on the day of the move Ray and Steven showed up. I had met a couple of guys from the company before and they were all super nice. Ray was a really nice guy, and they were both super hard workers. I got tired just watching them. They even helped move a couple things I brought over myself and put things together once we got there. Ray went out of his way to bring something back we left behind the next day. They sent me a team of barely English speaking Russians. That's fine and all, but caused havoc in the end. After paying extra for 4 people, we packed up my house and headed to my new house. I told them it was "NEW" Construction and not on maps, so I insisted I follow along with the truck. They refused, saying they have maps on their phone. There was a 4th guy in a separate motorcycle that needed to follow us, so the truck insisted we drive separately. 2 Hours later, the truck shows up at our house. "Supposedly they got lost". Complete BS, they stopped off for food or who knows what, while they charged me by the minute 2 hours to drive 15 minutes. I had to call the supervisors to intervene after they didn't show up. Driver stopped answering my calls, and wouldn't tell me where he was. I drove around for hours looking for them, and then they magically appeared at my house right as if they knew where they were going. I even called a friend who's from Russia to call them and she did, but again the driver hung up on her too. Probably didn't want the background noise of the restaurant or wherever they were to be heard on the phone. I was charged the full time including the 2 hours they disappeared. So you owe me 1hr, 45 minutes back, but I learned a valuable lesson, never book pch movers again, and tell everyone. While waiting, I had to call into work late, missing out on about $160 in wages as well, so you cost me double. Can you imagine, sitting waiting for your whole life's personal belongings to show up, with a driver you can barely talk to, who has stopped answering our calls?? The stress, the anxiety? Now make it and hour later, now 2 hours later. Driving around in circles looking for a sign of the truck? Desperate, worried, scared, and angry. Yes, that was me. You're just terrible. read more
