4 months ago I wrote a review for Clean Cut, and now here I am now waiting for my Vietnamese barber Paul. I respect what he says and my parents respect him. The rating and review remains the same. Nothing changed since I last went to the location. I have to agree with the reviews on Paul and I highly recommend him for everyone. This is the second bad haircut I've gotten at Clean Cut Barber. I started going to Paul about four months ago and the first cut I received was pretty good. The high skin fade with a short trim on the top was on-point. Since then, the haircuts have gotten progressively worse. A month ago, I asked that he only cut about an eighth-inch off the and he just kept trimming here and there trying to even things out until the cut got way too short. The fade on the sides was also uneven; one side was higher than the other. After that, I thought about giving him another chance. My mistake for offering an opportunity at redemption. The length on top was well done until he started trying to fix the uneven fading on the sides and back. He consistently went higher and higher on one side until there was no fade at all and it ultimately became a very high undercut. To blend the hair, he then started using trimmers to cut the hair on top. Long story short, just a terrible and ridiculous haircut. You don't want a barber who lacks attention to detail. read more

Paul still does an excellent job and my go to guy every week. $9.00 a fade and the quality of Paul's fades are unmatched. If it's your first time here, Paul's chair is the one to the right when you walk in. He's the younger of the two men cutting hair. read more

I came here after reading yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. I got my haircut by a lady named Christina (so the cosmo license said) and she did a great job. I told her what I wanted and without hesitation she cut and trimmed at my hair with perfect precision and gave me not only what I asked for but what I pictured my hair to look like in the end. I love my haircut and I am so happy I came here. It def won't be the last time I come to this barbershop I was extremely pleased with my haircut it isn't very often that I get the haircut I picture in my head but man was I treated today haha. Thank you Christina for the amazing haircut I will be back and I highly recommend this place and Christina to anyone out there. Oh and I paid 9.00 for my haircut plus a 50 cent fee for using card so for those out there be warned there's a card fee. I'm telling you though this place was worth it I went to a more higher end barber shop for men and paid 20 or 30 bucks and still didn't get what I wanted, it was a good haircut but it wasn't what I had asked for but man this place is golden. read more

Real Decent Spot. I recently moved to the area, so I am automatically in need of a new barber. Went in to get a skin fade. Came out with a skin fade (sort of). It wasn't exactly what I was used to getting from my old barber as he really went to skin. The barber I went to (Paul) used a zero blade. Let me be clear, I have no complaints about this place or barber. The haircut looked great. There is another spot that I want to check out before selecting my new barber so we'll see how that experience goes next time. If it goes well then this spot will be my back up in a pinch. If it goes not so well, I will stop my search and go here exclusively. I may just end up coming here regularly because for the price. $9 for a fade. $9.00 Haircuts that are completed in a fast and well-skilled manor. Went here on a Sunday and there was only one gentlemen (a little older) there to man the fort. I'm guessing that he is the owner and that this is just how their Sundays are. Hair was pretty long and the cut only took about 20 minutes. I brought in a pic of what I wanted and he made it pretty much exactly like what I showed him. Looks great and I am very happy. Will definitely come back. Don't come here expecting to get a $20 barber's cut cause you probably won't and will then just leave a very biased, most-likely negative review. Only thing that I have to say is that he left it longer than what I would have preferred and I would have asked him to make it shorter but he just started to throw product in my hair so I'll just leave it for the next time. Theres a reason the majority of clients do not get their haircut with the lady. She cannot cut hair to save her life and does not speak an ounce of english. She'll nod her head to make it look like she understands what you're telling her and then she will pretend to cut hair while cutting a few hairs here and there and just clean up the edges. I tried explaining to her how i really wanted my hair but she just nodded and did a few snips here and there. Unbelievable. read more

My husband wanted to try out a new barber and he took me his second time. They did a decent job but he said with the language barrier between him and the lady he didn't get the exact cut he wanted but it was still good for the price. His first visit with one of the gentlemen there made him want to come back but unfortunately there was a wait for him. read more

I was looking for a new hair place, and I turned to Yelp for help. The previous reviews helped a lot, and I decided to try it out. It's a small place, and there was only one person working when I went in ( Monday around 1:30 PM) so there was no wait. He was super friendly, I didn't catch his name unfortunately. I am really happy with my haircut it is exactly what I wanted. I paid $9 for the haircut, that's a great price for the quality of service in my opinion. This place is a nice little spot next to Casa Gamino (which you should also try for bomb Mexican food) that has been around for as long as I can remember (90's). The original owner Sarafin was a good man and great at the Fade he used to joke that he invented it lol. Whatever the case Paul's the man now here and he too is great at the Fade. Great barber they actually knew how to cut my hair. My hair is very difficult to cut.

We showed the older Asian gentleman exactly what we wanted in the picture and at first it looked like he understood but then when he got to my husbands beard I don't understand what happened. He just kept on shaving his beard lower and lower until he shaved it down to these little skinny uneven L's. I mean he had the picture, his beard just needed to be cleaned up a little. Maybe watching sharks eat a sea lion on the National Geographic channel while you're cutting hair isn't a good idea. Oh well, looks like we're still hunting for a new barber. read more
