I had a problem with my pool cleaner not picking up the leaves. Taras texted me and was able to come out the next day. He found the problem very quickly. The cartridges were extremely dirty so he cleaned them as best he could. I'm not even sure the service I had let go even did that at all bc they were disgustingly filthy. Anyway, Taras worked quickly and also gave me some tips about servicing my own pool which was much appreciated. Andre was awesome and really knows what he is talking about when it comes to pools. We had an issue with the clarity of the pool water. He came by and tested the water and quickly had a plan in place to correct the issue. Clean Pool Pros installed new pool equipment in September 2021. In January 2022 we had them install a pool heater. With installation complete Andre offered me verbal instructions for operating the system. I had to insist that he stay to walk me through a true start up cycle. Within minutes the system shut down showing safety codes. I had to point out that something was wrong. Andre's first response was that whoever installed the existing equipment and electrical sub panel didn't install them correctly. I reminded him that his own company was the installer. His response changed to it had to have been well over a year ago. I then reminded him that only about 4months had passed. He then stated that it was our pools plumbing system. This went on until I pleaded with him that I was at his mercy and I need his knowledge not his excuses to properly diagnose the problem so we could enjoy what we paid for. I emphasized that I don't care if it's my plumbing or faulty equipment or installation. Whether I pay all, half or nothing. I just need it to be right. After Andre made some adjustments he explained that to run our system we needed to: 1. Heat the water 2. turn the heater off 3. start the jacuzzi pump and run until the water cools 4. turn the jacuzzi pump off. Then go trough the steps again. Or, don't run the jacuzzi pump at all(sketchy! Right?) Later that evening the electrical system to the pool shut down. I had Leslie's pool come out. They were great. One technician actually diagnosed with a more experienced technician on FaceTime. Improper electrical installation was their diagnoses emphasizing that the installer should be responsible cautioning that if they are not actual electrician's they should not work on it. Leslie's advised that we have an electrical contractor come out and unfortunately Leslie's is not qualified or able to. Coincidentally SMUD sent out an electrical contractor a few days later who strongly agreed that the installer should be responsible due to improper electrical installation. Recommending I only allow an electrician work it. I had Andre come back out and he reported to me that it was a lose wire & incorrect circuit breaker (on the new panel they previously installed). Andre told me problem solved and that I need to have the electrician call him directly so that he could explain that what he did was correct. I apologized to Andre stating that I didn't realize that he was an electrician. Andre did not respond so I had to ask him point blank: Andre! Are you an electrician? Andre replied with "Oh, no I'm not, but that's ok I'm able to work on pool systems including electrical."Well you guessed it that very night when I tried to use the jacuzzi the pools electrical system triggered the breakers and had no power. I would have followed through with this fiasco sooner but my health has not been the best. I have to add that after thousands of dollars I am scared to even get in the pool without shutting power to the pool at my main pane read more

They also educated me on how to take care of my pool, being a first time home buyer and not knowing anything about pools, they really took the time to answer all my questions and came back to check that the green was fully gone. We own a 1960's house with very outdated pool equipment, but, has lasted us for quite awhile as we took on other higher priority projects. Just last week our electrical wiring to our booster pump kept tripping our panel. Called Clean Pool Pros, and, they were ready to come out Monday with a booster pump replacement. Taras came in the time frame he said he would. He first tested all the wiring because he didn't want to replace the booster pump if it was only an electrical issue. Our pool pump died and we needed a booster pump and sweep. Andre send me estimates and we discussed options. I was surprised when he was able to come out the next day. They were able to remove the pool equipment shed that we were removing too. For a fee. They worked all morning on it and finished by 1pm. My only complaint is that they did not clean up after themselves. We highly recommend this company. However, Unlike my previous review, Andre and he helper left pieces of wood, screws and a mess by the pool. They were also told to put all the wood on the side of the house but they left the roof and pieces of wood there. He provided me with a general quote on draining and cleaning my in ground pool and answered all of my questions. I originally called them to just come look at my pool and tell me what needed to be done and they came and tested the water, added some chemicals and even vacuumed for free! I switched from another company to Clean Pool Pros and the first week Taras serviced the pool I noticed he put 3 chlorine tabs in the basket. The other pool company had been putting 1 chlorine tab in the basket and the pool was clean and clear. So after a few days with the 3 tabs of chlorine I noticed the pool got cloudy. So then when Taras came back the next week he realized he put in way too much chlorine so he put in a lot of uric acid. I saw him go twice to his truck to get uric acid. So the pool chemicals got messed up and the water was burning my skin. I just found out from a new pool company that the pool has way too much uric acid and my only hope is for rain to fix it or to drain the pool. The timer for the skimmer broke. I asked if they could put in a new timer. Instead Taras hooked up the skimmer to the pool pump so it ran all day long with the pool pump instead of running for 2 hours a day like it should. He didn't know how to install a new timer. So I had another company come out and put in a new timer. I had another company put in a handrail as well. They don't know what they are doing and they can permanently ruin your pool by not knowing how much of the various pool chemicals to put into your pool. read more
