I dropped off a few shirts on Monday for pickup Thursday morning. Thursday morning come and they have all but one ready. She says the other will be ready Friday. Come back Friday afternoon she says it will be ready in one hour. I can't come one hour late so come back the next Monday. She tells me again on Monday a full week after dropoff it will be ready in one hour after falsely claiming that 2 other times. Don't go here there are plenty of dry cleaners in the area. Update: they just lost my shirt and won't even pay me the full value of it. Do not go here.

The second time, the driver sttod in my hallway calling my name. When I opened the door, he told me he only picked up commercial laundry, and wasn't given information to pick up residential laundry. My laundry came back poorly folded. I had to refold everything before I could put it away. Today I decided to,give them one more chance. I got a phone call from the same man I talked to to place my order. He said he was downstairs but could not get into the building. The doors from the street are open. When you enter the vestibule, you have to use the intercom to gain entrance to the lobby. I told him to buzz my apartment number. He insisted he could not get into the building at all. He basically wanted me to bring my laundry down to him. He the said I was lucky someone had let him into the building. When he found out I wouldn't bring the laundry down to him, he told me he didn't need my business and left. He was rude, and obviously can't keep employees. While humble may be in the name of the business, it obviously does not apply to the owner.

I placed an order with him, and he took the deposit for 90% of the new stove cost. After two weeks the first stove arrived damaged. He replaced the damaged stove with a defective one. Another three weeks passed, no words from Joe. I reached out again, and he mentioned that the faulty stove is not his responsibility and gave me a new number to call to get it fixed. When I couldn't get any help from the number, Joe stopped taking my calls or return my messages. It's been over five months since I received the defective stove; I still can't find anyone to help me and can't get the refund. Save yourself from the painful experience, stay away from Bensonhurst Appliance Repair.
