Could not be happier!!! We will continue to use CPP. We have a 1950s pier and beam house. Sinks and toilet were backing up and draining extremely slow or not at all, all gurgling loudly. Before David, 2 less-savvy plumbers said we had a leak under the house and needed to have all our sewer and water lines replaced, for THOUSANDS of dollars. David came out and took time to listen, think and analyze. Using his camera, he discovered a clog near the street. The City of Austin came and repaired the clog for FREE. Afterwards, David came back to check on things and to investigate the water "leak" under the house. He found our shower wasn't hooked up and was draining onto the ground under the house. He FIXED it in a couple of hours, adding a well-constructed access point under the house. When others didn't have an answer for the annoying gurgling, David simply added a vent to the sink, which fixed the problem instantly. Everything is working great again, for a fair price. David is smart, he communicates clearly and responds promptly. He and his partner James work together efficiently. On two occasions I contacted Clear and Present Plumbing for services at my home. One was for the repair of under-sink waste lines for my kitchen sinks and garbage disposer while the other was a much larger and more complex project to install a new natural gas line to my range. Both projects were done to my complete satisfaction. The gas line required opening walls and working in the limited confines of my attic space. The quality of the work was excellent. Permits and inspections were taken care of and the work sites were completely cleaned when the jobs were finished. Prices were reasonable, work was completed as committed, costs were on budget (much less than competitive bids), and all appointments were on time. David responded to my request for a plumber within 10 minutes. The plumber (Travis) was at our house within two hours. Come to find out, we needed a new toilet. We had a nasty bathroom sink, so we had that replaced also. Travis picked up the toilet & sink from Home Depot. He checked the plumbing with a camera to make sure we didn't have a problem in that area. The job was done very professionally. Couldn't ask for a better job. Travis is very knowledgeable & is a very pleasant extrovert. Wasn't cheap, nothing is, but was a good value for the work done. Travis corrected a mistake a plumber with another company had made. Travis did such a great job on site that we hired him to add anti-siphon devices to all our exterior faucets. He also pointed out that the rubber washers on the ends of the hoses on the lines to our washer and drier (which were available for inspection) had started to deteriorate.
