Bad experience. Lead me all the way up to my date of the procedure and then decided on the day they weren't going to do it. The Doctor gave me a bunch of excuses as to why. I was devastated completely. And some of what he told me ended up being completely BS. They refunded me the money. I went and got a 2nd opinion. The Davis Eye Group in Cuy Falls. He saw me. I told him what they said. And he examined me very thoroughly. Told me there was no problem. He could do my lasik and it would be fine. 1.5 years later best decision I made. The entire experience was excellent. I would give them 6 stars if I could. All of our appointments were informative and always very detailed. They were reassuring, kind and helpful throughout. During the surgery, they offered to let me watch, which was scary and cool at the same time (I have no stomach for that type of thing!). I couldn't help but marvel at how easy they make this incredibly detailed surgery seem. It's been just over a week since I had LASIK surgery at Clear Choice and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Clear Choice made each step of the process a total breeze. I had my initial consultation at their mini downtown office and the rest of my appointments were at the main Brecksville location. I can't say enough good things about the staff and facility. The waiting areas are cozy and welcoming and the surgery facility is spotless. The staff members are super personable yet time efficient. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my scheduled appointment time. On my surgery day, I felt prepared and ready to go! I had my consultation at the Avon Location and my procedure was done at the Brecksville facility (very nice building and comfortable). During my consultation, the staff recommended that I go with a KAMRA in my less dominant eye for better close up reading and since I am a kitchen designer, it would help with my design details. While discussing the costs of the procedure, I did not feel that I was being pushed into doing it, I was told to think about and let them know. The building is very nicely laid out and has a very cozy atmosphere, but when I went in for a consultation, I was underwhelmed by the employee who did my tests. He barely said 10 words to me they entire time we spent together and was very short like I was an inconvenience. The scheduler was not outwardly pushy, but when I said I needed to speak to my husband before scheduling anything, she told me that she would just put me down and I could cancel if I needed to. Ultimately, I cancelled my appointment here and had my lasik treatment at Lasik Plus. The staff there took time to get to know me and the reasons I wanted to have lasik. They were incredibly friendly and offered me a beverage while I waited to see the doctor (which I needed to come back to an additional appointment at Clear Choice to see). Well, i'm typing this with 20/20 vision, so i'd say it worked... But for real, I had my surgery here a few years ago. I could not have been more pleased with the process, the procedure, the follow-ups and the knowledgable staff. I checked out mostly every facility within a bajillion miles of my house, and was most reassured by Clear Choice. The facilities are pristine, even down to the waiting room, and they do their best to make everyone comfortable. I always LOL when I hear people at the facility complain that the surgery room is cold. Were you expecting to sit in a jacuzzi while they laser your corneas? I traveled from Cincinnati to Clear Choice in Brecksville, OH for my LASIK treatment (3 hour trip). Can I say it was the best decision I ever made. I visited other LASIK practices and made me feel like cattle. At Clear Choice they made me feel at home with no pressure, and explained the entire process thoroughly before I even said yes (thanks to Dr. Augustine and Jackie in consultation). When I went into the procedure room, Dr. Bafna explained everything that was going to happen, and talked to me throughout the procedure to make me feel comfortable. When the procedure was done, I could see faces, but my vision was still blurry (to be expected). When I woke up from my nap, I could read without any problems. Went back to the next day for my follow up, my right eye I was 20/20, and my left eye 20/25 (that was intentional since I'm older and should help so hopefully I won't need reading glasses). I had my Lasik procedure done with Clear Choice 6 years ago. I just went in for a eye exam and I am 20/15 6 years later with zero degeneration in my nearsight vision as well! I still remember the morning after my lasik procedure, waking up, and not having to use my glasses or put contacts in.
