    Shrimp burrito
    Mohammad H.

Small Mexican spot with a variety of options. We tried the fish burrito, shrimp diabla and a carne asada taco as well as an horchata. The horchata was light in flavor. Fish burrito was pretty large and filling. The shrimp diabla could have used a little more spice but had a good flavor to it. The carne asada taco was overpriced at $6 for a singular taco, it was good but I wouldn't pay that again. We went in for lunch food did take a while so be aware of possible rush hours.

I love seeing places where the regulars keep coming back. Clemente Seafood is one of those hidden gems in Santa Ana! They have a very large menu with a lot of seafood selections. And they started us off with some chips, salsa, and guacamole. This was very tasty! I especially liked the guacamole! We also tried the ceviche and shrimp dishes. I really enjoyed the ceviche with the tostada. It was very refreshing! The shrimp dish was pretty good too, but a little salty. I liked that the owner of the restaurant kept checking in on us. He wanted to make sure that we felt at home while enjoying our food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is such an adorable mom and pop shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As Always, NOM 4 LIFE!

My favorite ceviche- and that is saying something...., I come here maybe 4 times a year at lunch for ceviche. The owner knows me now so I don't really need to order. If there is lull we chitchat but for the most part he is busy. The ceviche always tastes fresh and I love how small the pieces are cut up. It makes it easier to get a lot on a chip. The sauce they serve with it is kind of sweet, kind of sour. If anyone knows what it is, please let me know- I want to put it in fruit for a platter. It's a hole in the wall but they are pumping out good fresh food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Minus one star for overcharging for wine and the sketchy clientele that is sometimes present.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've been here several times since I first tried out this place and each time was exceptional. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not very lively which is why I'm updating my review now. I think more people should try out this place especially for their ceviches which is what I always get. I believe it's the owner who is always serving us and he's very kind and attentive. The food portions are large, tastes, and fresh. and the chips and salsa are ‍

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Should be a line out the door! Super fresh Seafood and my favorite is the Shrimp Tostada and Shrimp Diablo plate with beans and rice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, cleanest kitchen where they are chopping up fresh herbs, vegetables and peeling the shrimp.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A MUST TRY!

    Seafood Cocktail

Nice, casual Mexican seafood restaurant. I came for lunch on a Friday with my mom. We ordered the seafood cocktail with four types of seafood and a plate of beans. We didn't love that the cocktail had so much fake crab, but we liked the other seafood and flavors. Overall it was a solid spot for a weekday lunch.

The Fish is very fresh! The ambiance is very free and airy. Great lighting inside from the outdoors. The ceviche is piled on high . I would recommend to ask for the tostada on the side next time. The tostada is crispy and good quality. Shrimp cocktail is savory and sweet. Add your tapatio, lime and salt. Would recommend this spot. Service is very friendly and fast. Ceviche and A warm sunny day = perfection. Come try this place out

We ate here with friends who are regulars. Our first time. The food was good, lots of options. The ceviche is a very popular menu item.

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. The beans were lovely, the rice was solid, and my passion fruit winearita drink was genuinely a treat. Restaurant Week gave us the perfect low-pressure reason to try somewhere new, and we walked out with a new favorite. We'll be back for lunch. We'll be back for dinner. And yes, Taco Tuesday, we'll absolutely be back for that.

To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.

It is next to a gas station. It looks like a pretty popular place during the lunch hour. It's a smaller place inside, but they do have an outdoor patio. We were able to find a small table, not too far from the front counter. Ordering at the front was easy. The staff was friendly and quick. We could see the cook grilling up the meats as we placed our order. There were at least five different salsas to choose from as well as cucumbers and a chili oil at the self-serve salsa bar. I noticed a customer in front of us ordered a kids plate which included two street tacos and rice and beans. That's what I ended up ordering with Carne Asada and chorizo. There were four or five proteins to choose from for the kids plate. I loved the grilled meats with the char flavor. It was delicious! Everything was well seasoned. I wish I would've ordered a third or maybe even a fourth taco because it was that good! I will definitely come back many times and it's going to be on our lunch rotation for sure.

The burrito was solid sized, I was definitely full after eating it. Great seasoned potato wedges inside, tasty egg, and plenty of bacon and sausage. Only thing with the bacon and sausage was that the bacon was actually bacon bits. I'm pretty sure they are pre bagged bacon bits, judging by the extreme salty taste...they overpowered the sausage inside so all I was really getting was bacon bits. There was supposed to be chipotle mayo inside as well, but I don't think mine had it. Or it was also overpowered by the bacon bits. Burrito was grilled on both sides and wrapped up nicely. By the time I got it, it was still super hot. The green and red salsas are also delicious.
