    Shrimp burrito

Small Mexican spot with a variety of options. We tried the fish burrito, shrimp diabla and a carne asada taco as well as an horchata. The horchata was light in flavor. Fish burrito was pretty large and filling. The shrimp diabla could have used a little more spice but had a good flavor to it. The carne asada taco was overpriced at $6 for a singular taco, it was good but I wouldn't pay that again. We went in for lunch food did take a while so be aware of possible rush hours.

If you are looking for some delicious garlic shrimp and tasty rice and beans with a cold beer this is the place, I've garlic shrimp from other seafood restaurants and this is my favorite

I love seeing places where the regulars keep coming back. Clemente Seafood is one of those hidden gems in Santa Ana! They have a very large menu with a lot of seafood selections. And they started us off with some chips, salsa, and guacamole. This was very tasty! I especially liked the guacamole! We also tried the ceviche and shrimp dishes. I really enjoyed the ceviche with the tostada. It was very refreshing! The shrimp dish was pretty good too, but a little salty. I liked that the owner of the restaurant kept checking in on us. He wanted to make sure that we felt at home while enjoying our food. It is such an adorable mom and pop shop! As Always, NOM 4 LIFE!

My favorite ceviche- and that is saying something...., I come here maybe 4 times a year at lunch for ceviche. The owner knows me now so I don't really need to order. If there is lull we chitchat but for the most part he is busy. The ceviche always tastes fresh and I love how small the pieces are cut up. It makes it easier to get a lot on a chip. The sauce they serve with it is kind of sweet, kind of sour. If anyone knows what it is, please let me know- I want to put it in fruit for a platter. It's a hole in the wall but they are pumping out good fresh food. Minus one star for overcharging for wine and the sketchy clientele that is sometimes present.

I've been here several times since I first tried out this place and each time was exceptional. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not very lively which is why I'm updating my review now. I think more people should try out this place especially for their ceviches which is what I always get. I believe it's the owner who is always serving us and he's very kind and attentive. The food portions are large, tastes, and fresh. and the chips and salsa are ‍

Nice, casual Mexican seafood restaurant. I came for lunch on a Friday with my mom. We ordered the seafood cocktail with four types of seafood and a plate of beans. We didn't love that the cocktail had so much fake crab, but we liked the other seafood and flavors. Overall it was a solid spot for a weekday lunch.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Should be a line out the door! Super fresh Seafood and my favorite is the Shrimp Tostada and Shrimp Diablo plate with beans and rice! Also, cleanest kitchen where they are chopping up fresh herbs, vegetables and peeling the shrimp. A MUST TRY!

We ate here with friends who are regulars. Our first time. The food was good, lots of options. The ceviche is a very popular menu item.

From the moment you sit down, the staff treats you with a level of warmth and attentiveness that immediately puts you at ease--you can genuinely tell they are happy to see you and appreciate your patronage. The dining room itself is stunning, featuring an elegant, home-welcoming atmosphere down to every last detail. The carefully curated lighting, comfortable chairs and tables, and the beautiful pictures lining the walls create an exceptionally warm and inviting environment. While I initially expected the standard chips and salsa, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary snack of crispy "cartwheels" drizzled with a tangy, flavorful hot sauce that hits all the right notes. As for the main event, the food is remarkably authentic and rich in flavor. I ordered the fish tacos accompanied by white rice, but the real star of the show--to my absolute shock--was the side of pinto beans. They are so incredible that I am literally planning a trip back this weekend just to order another side of them. If you think I'm exaggerating about a side of beans, you simply have to try them for yourself. Huge kudos to the cook and the entire staff for delivering next-level hospitality and an unforgettable meal. This place is a breath of fresh air, and I will definitely be back!

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. The beans were lovely, the rice was solid, and my passion fruit winearita drink was genuinely a treat. Restaurant Week gave us the perfect low-pressure reason to try somewhere new, and we walked out with a new favorite. We'll be back for lunch. We'll be back for dinner. And yes, Taco Tuesday, we'll absolutely be back for that.

To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.

I used to LOVE coming to this place... until I realized their customer service seriously sucked…read more First off, the food is honestly a little on the salty side, but I kept coming back because I liked the place. Then this happened. I brought my family here for dinner, and when we were closing out the check, the server failed to mention that gratuity was automatically added for a party of 6. I didn't realize it until I was about to sign and saw that I was about to leave ANOTHER tip on top of the automatic gratuity. I was like, oh HELL NO, I'm not tipping $80+ So I asked the server to refund the entire transaction and rerun the payment correctly. She told me she couldn't do that, but said she could refund the extra tip instead. I said okay, trusting that she knew what she was doing. We left. Fast forward about 4-6 months later. I come back with different family members, and the MANAGER comes over and tells me I have an outstanding balance of around $150. At first I genuinely thought he was joking. Nope. Apparently, when the server was supposed to refund the extra tip, she accidentally refunded the ENTIRE BILL and kept the tip. ‍ Now explain to me HOW that was my problem?! I specifically told her I wanted the entire transaction refunded so we could start over, and SHE chose to handle it differently. That was THEIR mistake, not mine. And the worst part? Instead of pulling me aside privately and explaining what happened, the manager brought this up IN FRONT OF THE FAMILY I WAS WITH. So now I'm sitting there being told I owe $150+ in front of my guests because of an error THEIR employee made months earlier. Talk about embarrassing. Thank God I'm in a position where I could afford to pay it, so I paid the outstanding amount AND my new bill that day -- over $300 out of pocket -- just to resolve the whole situation. I paid everything they said I owed for both visits, and I have never gone back since. And I WILL NEVER go back. Between the salty-ass food and the customer service, I'll take my money somewhere else. Just sharing my TRUE experience because I think customers deserve to know what happened.
