    Carbonara

Olive Garden has better food and cleanliness. Lazy service, bland food and wasn't worth the price at all. The only positive was the Bruschetta. It was good but is not worth coming back for. I got the Carbonara and it was SO OILY. Couldn't eat a lot of it. My friend got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it was bland and tasteless- had to request Parmesan, and pesto just to make it okay to eat. For a restaurant on Duval St with a $30-40 price range... NOT worth it. PLENTY of better options. Don't even get me started on the cleanliness of the bathrooms and indoor seating... so bad.

Ducked into the NY pasta garden on a brisk day. The outdoor seating area looked lovely, but some unseasonable wind brought us inside. My French onion soup was the only one available (no soup of-the day) but it was really well done, savory and cheesy. I even dunked the table parm bread in. Our server was personable. The pasta though my friends had wasn't so great. The Marsala sauce was sweet? And the lobster ravioli had a beef sauce on top...

Cute little place with an old Italian restaurant vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was ok. I ordered the lobster ravioli which came with beef sauce. That threw me off a bit and the chicken Marsala was extremely sweet and it just didn't taste right. The onion soup however was prepared right and it was delicious. The bread with cheese definitely was great with a little bit of oil.

This is a fun, unique place. The food was 3 stars but the service from the owner brings it up to 4 stars. The portions are enormous... like entirely too much food. Everything had decent flavor, and the owner kept our wine glasses topped up for the entire meal. The outdoor dining area is lovely.

100/10!!! This food was probably our favorite from our trip to Key West. The pasta with vodka sauce was out of this world. I could live on the garlic bread alone. The restaurant is tucked back in a small patio area surrounded by plants and lights. The owner was very personable and treated us well - highly recommended!!

If we could do dinner again, we would not come back. Everything was mediocre and underwhelming. We arrived here on a Sunday night and it was dead. There was only 1 other table dining here. A very silent meal here as it was pretty quiet. We walked in and what seems to be the owner, just sat behind a counter, looked at us and didn't even acknowledge us. No greeting. Someone else came over to us and sat us at a table. He became our waiter and was our service for the remainder of the night. We used the Yelp check in for the free bruschetta. It looked tasty. It was okay. But something anyone can piece together at home. I would've not been happy if I had to pay for it. We ordered 2 pasta dishes. One was the linguini with clams on white sauce. The other was the alfredo pasta with chicken. The chicken was terrible. No seasoning whatsoever. The alfredo pasta was plain with no color. All cheese. The linguini with clam sauce was very thick. It didn't live up to our pasta expectations. We paid our bill and left. Getting up and leaving, the owner again did not greet us goodbye or bother to acknowledge us.

We had an enjoyable dinner here! Granted, we were about 4 martinis in from happy hour across the street at Ocean Grill & Bar, which we learned has the same owner! Gluten free pasta was very good. Chicken cutlet was perfectly cooked. No complaints from us & the staff was super entertaining!

We were here last evening exploring the southern most point , when I thought it might be good to check out some dining options in the area This place is nice and cozy . It's nestled inside a mini open mall ,where there is a line of other restaurants. The menu had some nice veg options listed so I booked a spot ahead anticipating a crowd later . I would recommend doing so as it saves the stress of finding a dining venue later as you tour the place . We ordered a salad , penne with vodka sauce and for the garlic knots and artichoke appetizers free . Food was ok . Nothing great . Service was good , fast .

Mahi mahi picatta & Chicken Gorgonzola

Stumbled upon this Italian restaurant off of Duval Street. It was amazing. The ceasar salad was the best I've ever had. My husband had the mahi mahi piccata and I had chicken Gorgonzola. Both were some of the best pastas either of us have ever had. We were celebrating our anniversary and Fletcher treated us to a complementary dessert. He was an engaging host, and made us feel welcome. Definitely go here if you're in the area, you won't be dissapointed !

What a fabulous restaurant with wonderful staff and delicious food! We just so happened to be walking by and found it tucked behind other restaurants. We are so glad we did. We were welcomed in like family and had such attentive service. One server made us a special artichoke app and it was fantastic. Would never have known it was artichokes, and the base sauce was yummy. We also had plenty (too many!) of garlic buttered knots with Parmesan. Very addicting. My fiancé had the meat lasagna and I had the penne ala vodka. I loved the creamy vodka tomato sauce and the added prosciutto made it even better. Added some red pepper flakes and it was the best. I was craving pasta and it was exactly what I wanted. Also the noodles were perfectly Al dente. My fiancé enjoyed the meat lasagna and could barely finish half as it was so filling. You can't go wrong with meat and cheese. Their sauce is very flavorful too! Honestly one of the best dinners we had while in Key West due to food, service, and being able to actually relax at a restaurant. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

The moment we walked in we knew this was going to be amazing and Antonia's (service, food and atmosphere) did not disappoint. After my wife ordered a cocktail sh ordered the GROUPER with toasted gnocchi, pine nuts, mushrooms, key lime butter. I ordered the LAMB OSSO BUCO in chianti braised sauce. One could say I am an Osso Buco Connoisseur. I can say without reservation this was the most tender and flavorful I have ever had the pleasure of eating. It's that good. Meat was succulent, the chanti braised sauce was also amazing so was the really tasty mash potatoes and asparagus. My wife made yummy sounds with every bit of her grouper. Last and certainly not least is the top notch attentive service and atmosphere. You really need to try this restaurant it's worth every dollar. IMO Antonia's IS a 10 Michelin Star Restaurant.

She then came back and very rudely stated "oh that menu's not for you, it's for locals and you aren't a local". She then snatched it away and gave us a new one. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, some calamari and bread. The bartender was not only ignoring us but the rest of the bar as she proceeded to chat with three ladies at the end of the bar. Our food sat on the bar for 10 minutes before she finally got around to delivering it to us. By that time the calamari was cold and not edible. I called her out on being rude and she proceeded to argue with us. Apparently she didn't get the memo that her job is dependent upon tourists. And btw, we live in Florida so not that far away. I have never been treated so poorly and insulted by someone's tone and demeanor than by this woman. My advise, don't sit at the bar or don't waste your time at all. Clearly they are not tourist friendly. I wish I could comment on the food but we never got that far.

Food Blackfin is a beer and wine restaurant, so no cocktails. I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy when a place offers creative house cocktails. Since I'm not much of a wine or beer person either, I was initially a bit disappointed. That changed quickly when I saw they served Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. That alone felt like a small vacation in a glass. The menu offers plenty of choices to satisfy almost any palate. We weren't especially hungry, so we opted for a lighter approach: * Grilled Octopus * Tempura Green Beans * Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad Everything we ordered was very good. The salad was fresh and thoughtfully balanced, with bacon, goat cheese, apple, and honey bringing layers of flavor. It was served with a crusty baguette. We don't normally eat bread, but this was a welcome addition. The grilled octopus was tender, flavorful, and served hot. Always a good sign. The tempura items were nicely executed, lightly battered and not greasy. The green beans were crisp with delicate seasoning, served alongside a balsamic glaze dipping sauce that complemented without overpowering. Service Service was attentive throughout the evening. We never felt forgotten, and we never felt rushed. The pacing was natural and relaxed. Thank you, Gabor. Atmosphere The indoor dining area feels quiet and intimate. The outdoor patio in the back leans more casual. Surrounded by a tall fence and shaded by trees that form natural canopies, it offers a sense of privacy that can be hard to find in many of the more open-air restaurants along Duval Street. Even though this was a lighter, abbreviated meal for us, my sense is that Blackfin would be an excellent choice for a full dinner. We would definitely plan to return on our next visit to Key West.

The dining room is small, there's only a couple seatings each night, it's cash only, and it's BYOB. We started with the clams and scallops. The scallops were one of the best things I ate during our entire time in Key West. For dinner I had the fish special, and my husband had the filet. Both were outstanding. His steak was cooked perfectly, and the fish was one of those dishes where every bite makes you stop talking for a second. You can watch the food being prepared right in front of you, which only adds to the experience. My biggest mistake was not going earlier in our trip. The young man who greeted us was unwelcoming -- he seated us in a corner without offering menus or acknowledging us further. The setup of the restaurant also gave us pause. Between the lackluster service and the uncomfortable environment, we didn't get a good feeling about the place and decided to leave. One more thing worth noting for anyone planning to visit: the restaurant does not serve alcohol, so you'll need to bring your own beverages.
