Olive Garden has better food and cleanliness. Lazy service, bland food and wasn't worth the price at all. The only positive was the Bruschetta. It was good but is not worth coming back for. I got the Carbonara and it was SO OILY. Couldn't eat a lot of it. My friend got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it was bland and tasteless- had to request Parmesan, and pesto just to make it okay to eat. For a restaurant on Duval St with a $30-40 price range... NOT worth it. PLENTY of better options. Don't even get me started on the cleanliness of the bathrooms and indoor seating... so bad. read more

Cute little place with an old Italian restaurant vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was ok. I ordered the lobster ravioli which came with beef sauce. That threw me off a bit and the chicken Marsala was extremely sweet and it just didn't taste right. The onion soup however was prepared right and it was delicious. This is a fun, unique place. The food was 3 stars but the service from the owner brings it up to 4 stars. The portions are enormous... like entirely too much food. If we could do dinner again, we would not come back. Everything was mediocre and underwhelming. We arrived here on a Sunday night and it was dead. There was only 1 other table dining here. A very silent meal here as it was pretty quiet. We walked in and what seems to be the owner, just sat behind a counter, looked at us and didn't even acknowledge us. No greeting. Someone else came over to us and sat us at a table. He became our waiter and was our service for the remainder of the night. We used the Yelp check in for the free bruschetta. It looked tasty. It was okay. But something anyone can piece together at home. I would've not been happy if I had to pay for it. We ordered 2 pasta dishes. One was the linguini with clams on white sauce. The other was the alfredo pasta with chicken. The chicken was terrible. No seasoning whatsoever. The alfredo pasta was plain with no color. All cheese. The linguini with clam sauce was very thick. Everytime we come to key west, we come here. It is somehow even better everytime! We got the Caprese salad, artichoke hearts, fettuccine Alfredo, penne Al La vodka, shrimp & scallop carino, and the caramel cheesecake. Everything was 10/10. The staff is THE BEST. We were here last evening exploring the southern most point , when I thought it might be good to check out some dining options in the area This place is nice and cozy . It's nestled inside a mini open mall ,where there is a line of other restaurants. The menu had some nice veg options listed so I booked a spot ahead anticipating a crowd later . I would recommend doing so as it saves the stress of finding a dining venue later as you tour the place . Stumbled upon this Italian restaurant off of Duval Street. It was amazing. The ceasar salad was the best I've ever had. My husband had the mahi mahi piccata and I had chicken Gorgonzola. Both were some of the best pastas either of us have ever had. We were celebrating our anniversary and Fletcher treated us to a complementary dessert. What a fabulous restaurant with wonderful staff and delicious food! We just so happened to be walking by and found it tucked behind other restaurants. We are so glad we did. We were welcomed in like family and had such attentive service. One server made us a special artichoke app and it was fantastic. Would never have known it was artichokes, and the base sauce was yummy. We also had plenty (too many!) of garlic buttered knots with Parmesan. Very addicting. My fiancé had the meat lasagna and I had the penne ala vodka. I loved the creamy vodka tomato sauce and the added prosciutto made it even better. Added some red pepper flakes and it was the best. I was craving pasta and it was exactly what I wanted. Also the noodles were perfectly Al dente. My fiancé enjoyed the meat lasagna and could barely finish half as it was so filling. You can't go wrong with meat and cheese. Their sauce is very flavorful too! After several good experiences at this place, tonight's dinner was a big fail. The small wine list had about 6 overpriced red wines so we asked our waiter for the house reds. He said they had Cabernet, Pinot Noir and Chianti so we ordered the Cab and Pinot. The burrata was an excellent appetizer but the "prosciutto" turned out to be plain ham. My wife ordered the mussels and they were tough, grainy and probably freezer burned. My Carbonara was pretty good but the menu says there is pancetta in it. Nope, it was the same ham that was in the burrata appetizer. Then the bill arrived and the "house" wines we ordered were billed at a higher price than the 6 "name brand" wines on the wine list. We mentioned that to our server and he basically took $2 off our bill resulting in the house wines STILL priced higher than the "name brand" wines. At this point I didn't want to make a big deal about it as there were other customers present so I just paid the bill and will no longer consider dining there. It's a shame because in years past we have always enjoyed this place. But tonight everything from the service to the food was not even close to up to par. And judging from the other reviews I doubt this place will still be here next year. read more

This was a very bad experience for us and a rip off for new years celebration. We read some good reviews and we though to give it a try. There was a set menu but the food was absolutely terrible, the steak was probably premade and served cold, fish was not fresh and pasta was tasteless. The writer gave us a good service and he was very nice and not his fault that food was terrible but for $400 (2 adults + child) we could've had better food, much better anywhere else I think. The wine, wow! It's the size of 2 pours in one! I'll come back just for the wine! The food, wow! Most Italian all blends together for me, but some specific dishes here really stood out. 1. The Olivia is very simple olive oil sauce with artichokes, olives, sun dried tomatoes, and it was FANTASTIC! For such a lightweight simple dish, jt was packed full of flavor! My husband and I both were surprised how great it was. 2. The shrimp & scallop Carino stole the show!! One of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, in my entire life!! It's the sherry cream sauce!! I'm telling you that sauce is so unique it tastes like a bisque almost. Best creative sauce from a pasta chef ever! I wanted to soak up all the sauce with every last piece of bread. 3. Compliments to the calamari appetizer also, was very delicious! Perfectly breaded and the red tomato dipping sauce was thick and chunky. The service was equally fantastic! Fletcher is the best! The best Italian meal I've ever experienced! My Filet and fresh vegetables couldn't be better. Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Alfredo and the Lasagna was loved by everyone at the table. Back home, I've eaten at places that cost just as much but serve less than half the portion. Both our dishes were delicious. Our waiter, Fletcher, was like a local guide, who shared a number of great recommendations for us to see and do while in Key West. He also had some fascinating details about the history and ecology of the Keys to share, which I loved. The restaurant itself is quiet and relaxing. We got the feeling that we were at a dinner party in a very fancy person's home, with quiet music playing. This place went above and beyond for our table of ELEVEN! There is an amazing happy hour from 4-6 pm where certain meals are $10. Certain Apps are also cheaper! They also give large glasses of wine during this time for a great price, I had the moscato. By far the best meal we've had in Key West! The food was phenomenal and the service was just as amazing. I got the penne a la vodka which was just so delicious and my husband got the lobster ravioli which was truly made to perfection. We had several appetizers as well, including bread, calamari, and coconut shrimp. The owner was so kind, pleasant, and took great care of us. He is the BEST story teller! It blows my mind that people have rated this place any lower than 5 stars because we were just so thrilled with our meal here!!
