The guys were quick and friendly every step of the process, thorough in answering questions, and my tattoo is exactly what I wanted! I would have thought their prices would be insane for the location but they're completely reasonable for the service. Loved the space too! Clean and stylish. The tattoo itself turned out great! I'm so happy with it and will be back.

Came in to get help reinserting jewelry in my double helix piercings and to get professional advice on jewelry that's easy to remove for medical reasons. Have done it with other piercers before with my conch and it went smoothly. I guess my lucked ran out. The piercer was dismissive and rushed me, but TBH I was willing to overlook the attitude as long as the work was done right. We went with a clasped hoop since it's easier for me to take out. The top piercing went in fine. For the bottom, he said it had closed and needed to be repierced -- okay, fair enough. at this point I just assumed he was gonna go the same way and just open it up again. But when I got home, I realized he had completely changed the placement, and I found out that for fresh piercings, you shouldn't be putting a hoop and make it so snug cause you need room for swelling, I'm a bit frustrated that a professional piercer didn't warn me or think of that when he chose to pierce me. Just no communications at all. Should've at least changed the jewelry right? From past experience with piercers, they walked me through the placement before piercing but he just went and did it. Honeslty was really traumatizing. I'm going to another piercer to get these taken out cause they're swelling and aching, and my ears are bending bc of how snug the earrings are. I came in trusting a professional to guide me, especially given my medical needs around jewelry removal. The lack of communication about changing the placement and not following aftercare best practices for a fresh piercing is what really gets me. Not a great experience. Very traumatizing.

But after attending a transformative retreat, I finally had the courage to get one -- and not just one, but two! From the moment I walked into Cleopatra Ink, I knew it was meant to be. By total coincidence, I ran into a friend who had the same idea -- we both showed up at the exact same time without knowing the other was coming. Later that same day, another friend of ours came back to get a tattoo too. It honestly felt like the universe was giving me a little wink. The staff was so warm and welcoming. They made us Turkish coffee, shared stories about their culture, and created such a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that it felt like we were hanging out with old friends. The whole process was quick, painless (less than 20 minutes!), and surprisingly peaceful. I left with two meaningful tattoos that I absolutely love -- and now I'm already thinking about what I want next. If you've ever been scared or hesitant, this is your sign. Cleopatra Ink made my very first tattoo experience unforgettable.

I got my navel pierced by Oguz on 12/20/26, but I just had to take it out because it was done so poorly. It was way too shallow, basically on the surface of my stomach rather than in my belly button causing it to constantly get caught on everything. Another piercer confirmed that no matter what jewelry I used, it would never heal correctly. The service was also a huge red flag. Oguz barely spoke to me. He just told me to keep my hands at my sides and didn't explain a thing. When he finished, he didn't even say anything, he just held up his hands to show he was done.

Ozzy pierced my belly twice and did a great job both times! I am so glad he was the one to pierce me, he is super professional and friendly. Amazing from start to finish! As my second tattoo, I've experienced various shops, artists and customer service. And Cleopatra Ink was a shot in the dark - seeing if they could reimagine my design.. As an artist myself, I also didn't want to be that annoying know it all prick and to let the artist do their thing to come out as a piece that was me and dedicated to the personal struggles I have gone through. And they did exactly that! (Tho if you're looking for a shop to hear your sob story for a long time this isn't the place for you.) I was a bit ambitious to suggest color and for the placement on my rib cage and def underestimated how long I would be sitting for or the pain... & ended up being around 6 1/2 hours. I ended up paying $$$ but it was worth it to have it reimagined and for the quality and care and service they gave to me. But why was also the best part getting told that I sat well and made the tattooist personally comfortable. Truly loved how it turned out in the end!! In the city this afternoon and decided to get some ink with my boyfriend Kevin! He did a little tribute tattoo for his dad and I did a script tattoo. Their minimum is 150 so my 2 line script was awesome and only 150 excluding tip for your artist of course!!! (Always tip your artists!) The vibe is prime! The music is upbeat to get some edge off their clients especially if it's their first which in this case it was Kevin's first. It helped that the music is very upbeat and lively. The Owner and the Tattoo Artists are also very cool and friendly and listens to you. The design edits were very straight forward. The tattoo artist that did my script was Memo and Kevin's was done by Essie and they were both awesome! The owner was such a vibe, I didn't get his name but shout out to him and his awesome personality, it made us comfortable especially it was Kevin's first time.

I visited Cleopatra Ink San Francisco and had an amazing experience. Ozzy helped me from start to finish--he was super professional and made me feel comfortable right away. I filled out the consent form, and then got five piercings done: two double helix, one conch, and two earlobe piercings. Everything was very clean, sterile, and done quickly but carefully. Ozzy also explained the aftercare in detail, and I followed everything he recommended (I even took a photo of the aftercare instructions). My piercings healed perfectly without any issues. really smooth and quick ! great spot and really friendly place nice aroma. Got my conch for 90 jewlary included 4 day Update: Ok it's been a couple days about 4 since my piercing and it hurts SO bad. I had to take pain killers, i'm having trouble sleeping, and it's really red and painful to touch. I don't know if it's the length of the bar or what but something is seriously wrong with it. I later realized i received no aftercare instructions or spray aside from the "wait 6 months to change" 6th day: Had to end up getting the piercing removed at another shop. The bar was too short and the screw part being on the outside causes damage to the soft tissue in my ear. Couldn't even get it replaced i'm really disappointed and upset read more

Two stars are solely because my husband chose this place for us to go to and I appreciate it a lot - he really tried :) I went on my birthday (Feb 1 of 2026) as a surprise from my husband and was immediately aware of the odd vibes in the environment. The staff were not friendly, especially the man who came to get us for our appointment. We explained that the appointment was a surprise birthday gift for me, and I have really bad anxiety so I needed a moment to process everything and figure out what I wanted. At first, we tried to figure out a tattoo idea that was WAAAAYYYY to overpriced. I don't for the life of me remember what the piercer's name was, but he was blond, on the thinner side and shorter side. He made us feel stupid and as if we were a pain, not caring at all that it had been a birthday present and that we needed a moment to think. To top it off, when we decided on earlobes for both of us, he was talking on the phone (phone LITERALLY in hand) while piercing my partner and randomly decided to give me 16G size earlobe piercings? He didn't explain why, he just said that's what he "had to do," and never offered us any aftercare items and never told us any information about it. Whether or not someone is experienced in tats and piercings, you should always be telling the clients that information. The guy was extremely rude, everyone seemed on edge, and in general we will never be going back to this overpriced place. I ended up ripping my earring through my ear while sleeping because he gave me too big of a size for the tiny stud. I have a keloid now on one of my lobes and I am struggling with the healing process even while doing everything right. This never happened with my other lobe piercings I had. Way to go, whatever your name is, thanks for that! read more

They told me free touch ups and within 4 months my tattoo faded to where u can't even see the ying and yang symbols and then said they don't do them for gtrr in the spot I got it. This shop is lame!!! I don't recommend them at all They are liars!!!! read more

My husband finally got his first tattoo. He said that Cleopatra Ink was calling him in!! The shop was spacious and clean. Emre greeted us when we came in and we sat down with Him to look for the tattoo that my husband envisioned for his upper arm. Emre was super nice and patient with us! They were busy, so we came back a few hours later and Mehmet Aktas, did a fantastic job on my husband's tattoo! And it wasn't too painful! Lol!! We are back in Dallas and my husband loves his tattoo. I came with my friends to check it out their Halloween special deal. They had great selection of Halloween concept tattoos. Everyone who worked there was very welcoming and friendly with us. Salon is very clean and hygienic. I chose three tattoos that they offered us. We didn't wait too long. Luckily, the tattoo artist I have been following for a long time did my tattoo. Staff was extremely friendly and shop was clean and well decorated. Unfortunately, the tattoo work is not that great and the prices do not reflect the work. Paid $450 for a palm size tattoo (center only), should not have cost more than $200, speaking as a fellow tattoo artist and a person with several tattoos from various artists. I can't wait to heal so that I can go to a better artist to have it fixed To be honest, if I had known my tattoo would've turned out this way, I would've simply walked back out. It sucks because again, customer service was great but as a tattoo shop, im more interesting in having a well crafted tattoo being as though it is on my body forever. I will not be returning for additional work. read more

They took the time to walk me through what was happening and also recommended that if the swelling and fluid filled bump behind my ear didn't settle down, to go get it drained (which I did and it's been great since). I wish I had gotten my piercing done here originally. Their pricing is reasonable and knowledge far deeper than other places I'm aware of. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS…read more i want to preface this post that jake is not apart of the association of professional piercers (app) which should be the first red flag. since there are not a lot of regulations regarding piercings, i would suggest only going to one that is apart of the app because of their commitment and dedication to safety and sanitation standards. i am honestly disappointed having to write this review since i had high expectations given the other reviews. i got two piercings and one is healing well. however, the other one is not after getting it pierced nearly a month ago. i went in to have it looked at and the interaction was very unpleasant, giving me a reason to write this review. his first comment was "do you know how long it takes to heal" after asking if he would take a look at it. he then was gaslighting me saying i wasn't cleaning it and he would give me an aftercare sheet. he THEN proceeded to back out so quickly and said i needed to go to a doctor and he's just a piercer and it's unethical to give me medical advice LOL. he did not even try to help remedy my piercing at all. anyways i went to another piercer to get a second opinion and all that was needed was the correct jewelry for my anatomy. there was no infection, it was simply irritated. jake actin like i got some disease for real. disgusted by jake's customer service and unprofessional behavior given HE WAS THE ONE WHO PIERCED IT.

They don't have any prices for their permanent bracelets so I had no idea what to expect but I knew I wanted 14k gold, and I was most interested in a Cuban chain. This could have been a case of miscommunication coupled with the fact I don't like confrontation, but when I asked about the price I swore I was told ~$250. That seemed reasonable to me, I've been looking into Cuban chains and that was the price point I was seeing for about that size in 14k. When it came to checkout the price was $2,450 for just the permanent bracelet.....I was in a rush and again, don't love confrontation, so I paid and left but I feel like I seriously over paid for this tiny light weight chain. I was planning on getting more bracelets and jewelry plus some new piercings but after this I don't know if I trust their prices. I think I may use them to find cool jewelers, but purchase elsewhere. It's my fault I didn't double check the price, I take ownership in that. I would just caution against the permanent jewelry, at least learn from my mistake and get the price in writing not just verbally. Update: wow that was a super fast response! I arranged a consult with Ben, who asked detailed questions, assessed my current stack and suggested I had enough lobe health to do a piercing stacked on top of my first piercing. This will allow me to wear studs together or to wear a statement earring in the new hole without the issue of more stretching. He recommended jewelry options based on my style, then brought me back to do the piercing same-day (it was a Monday morning, so the store wasn't busy). He was meticulous in the setup and talked me through every step of the process. Easy and done. It's been two weeks and my new piercings are healing beautifully and I am already loving the placement and the options it affords me. When worn with earrings in my original first piercings, the two stacked together actually detract from the stretching. Ben is a total pro. If and when I get more piercings I absolutely will ask for him.

(They only said they would pierce me when it healed from their original unprofessional piercing. Which I of course refused. I obviously don't trust this establishment so why risk myself a second time.) This business is highly unprofessional and lacks basic customer service. Save your time and money--go somewhere that actually cares about symmetry, hygiene, and accountability. Will not recommend.

so I called back, tried to figure out the situation. It was the piercer. The piercer is the problem I was able to speak with a manager named Emery super understanding guy sat there and let me explain the whole situation and fix it for me told me in a timely manner what he was able to do and did it. The guy that did my piercing Bak was super nice I legit started crying because I was just so my piercing. He reassured me fix my piercing. This was definitely what I experienced. The first time I came that's why I came back to the shop. I just think that maybe the piercer just had a bad day, but I will continue to come back to the shop again I'm glad I gave him another chance he was also able to even it out for me, which was icing on top for me. I will never come back to this place. I came here hoping to get pierced and there was a woman helping me make an appointment. While I was there, a very rude white woman came out and violently yelled at the receptionist. The fact that no one stepped up for her was alarming and honestly disgusting. The entire staff needs some race sensitivity training, especially when Black people are on staff. Watching a white woman threaten to punch a Black coworker in the face and no one say anything is WILD and DISGUSTING. This place's management needs to step up. My wife and I both got tattoos in memory of our dog. Damla did my wife's tattoo. Damla took her time and put a LOT of detail into her tattoo. It is intricate and very clear. It matches with the rest of my wife's tattoos nicely. Remzi did mine, a portrait. I was on the chair for a few hours and the tattoo looks better than the original photo. Every detail is perfect. The real deal. A great atmosphere and shop by the warf. The manager helped me conceptualize my idea into a piece at a free consultation. My besties and I were walking the pier towards Buena Vista and saw the shop and the guy running it was outside and we decided we were gonna get matching tattoos. Loved my experience with Oguz! He was super professional, detail-oriented, and really took his time to make sure the placement was perfect and suited my ear. The people are so sweet. They greeted us when we came in and the prices were reasonable (90 with jewelry) and moved so quickly didn't feel a thing, I didn't even notice when she started or finished!
